Extremely personable and very knowledgable. I'd recommend Dr.Delson to anyone.
Dr. Delson was wonderful! He made me feel comfortable and right at home. He's very knowledgeable and truly cares about you! I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a primary doctor in the area!
Dr. Delson has been my GP for almost 30 years. I wouldn't see anyone else.
Dr Delson was great, shot me straight and I'll absolutely be going back if necessary.
Dr. Delson is an honest and to-the-point guy. He is a fantastic doctor and he would be a welcome addition to your life.
Best primary doctor I have ever had. A 'real' doctor who treats patients like 'real' people!
Right on time ... OK, five minutes in waiting room but loved it, a comfortable room, good music, fresh magazines, just settled in and he was ready. Nice manner, good medicine. Oh, and a great neighborhood: its The Village. Great spots all around. Plenty of subway access. Close to Washington Square Park. Plus, great email communications.
Dr Delson is thorough and is very reassuring. I am lucky to have found this doctor and won't be going anywhere else!
He's an unconventional Doctor.
It was terrible. From the minute I walked in it was terrible. He answered the door asking me what time my appointment was. I told him and he said "yea, you're early. Don't mind me I'm just in a bad mood. They're making us out everything on the computer now..." He then proceeded to give me the necessary paperwork. Of course by the time I finished he had already taken in a new patient. That's fine I suppose--but I'm curious why he took in yet another after I was clearly done with the paperwork... We finally get into his office and I try to explain my injury. After repeated interruptions he finally takes a look at my records and says "what I'm about to say to you might sound...overly simplified..." And then goes on to tell me that what I have I can probably do nothing about. I note that he's a self-professed sports injury doctor and my injury occurred while lifting weights. There was no mention of possible physical therapy or even surgery. Only that he didn't think there was anything for me to do... Even if this wasn't by itself enough to dismiss the doctor, the fact that he gave me the exact same diagnosis when I told him my lymph nodes were swollen has to be. He said, "you'll be fine. It's nothing." Not sure if it was personal or per his usual practice, but the doctor seemed as though he was more interested in getting me in and out then genuinely offering positive next steps. I would never again visit or suggest you visit him.
Fast and easy appointment. Always a pleasure.
He was great--extremely casual and warm! Addressed what I came in for, and was out the door. However, it was almost too casual, where he was using slang to talk about things I wouldn't expect a doctor to say, and somewhat aggressive.
Very rapid but personable. I walked in with 3 issues to cover and he knocked them out one after another — but still took the time to explain to me WHY he was recommending what he did.
I am a new patient and had a lot of questions, Dr. Jeffrey Delson carefully answered all of them and was very attentive. Cannot mention that the office is very nice, it almost feels like home and is conveniently located (with a coffee shop right around the corner for early bird appointments;)
Beware that Dr. Delson's is more concerned about the number of appointments he can get you to schedule with him versus ensuring that your medical needs are taken care of in a professional, ethical, and efficient manner. I recently moved to New York and registered with Dr. Delson. After two visits with him, he refused to write me a prescription with refills allowed for my blood pressure medication that I have been taking for several years. Instead, he insisted that I schedule appointments to see him every 3 months so that he can re-write them (and get paid by you and your insurance company for each visit). He also does not respond to calls or emails so that you have to schedule an appointment to come in and speak with him. Instead of working with me, he literally told me to switch physician's to one that write's prescriptions with refills...if there are any still in business. Funny enough, I found a fantastic new doctor in the same neighbourhood that sorted me out on the first visit and was much more friendly and easy-going to deal with...and they are still in business! Beware of Dr. Delson's selfish tactics if you are looking for a genuine doctor.
I've been seeing Dr. Delson for over 20 years. He's personable, practical, very up-to-date on the latest medical literature, and innovative in his treatments--using a mix or Western and Eastern medicine (acupuncture, etc.) to get and keep me well. Most importantly, he always takes my specific circumstances/medical history into account when determining the best treatment options for me.
Really nice, to-the-point and helpful.
Awesome doctor! Takes the time to talk through any issues, does a bit of digging in via questions, very helpful and attentive. I will definitely be recommending him to my friends.
Forgot to write this, but this guy is a sham, absolutely NOT a doctor. Used profanity every other word and made me feel worse.
Has a bit of a strong bedside manner, but is definitely courteous and professional. Definitely doesn't beat around the bush and wants to understand your lifestyle before making any diagnosis.
Great visit - professional, efficient and knowledgeable
I've already recommended Dr Delson to a friend of mine! From the minute he opened the door, I felt comfortable and as if I've known him forever. He was thorough, explained everything, answered all my questions, and took his time with the visit. I will definitely go back to him for future problems when they occur. A trusted patient doctor is hard to find; Dr Delson is a keeper!
He's is amazing! Totally no-nonsense and right to the point. Listens to you and is very real with his advice and opinions.
It was great to see Dr Delson, as always!
Better. Lets see how the meds work out.
Personalized and professional
Hoping the secret doesn't get out and make it impossible to get an appointment: Dr. Delson is my favorite PCP ever.
Another great visit. Dr. Delson is a straight shooter and takes the time to have a real conversation about your health concerns.
Doc Delson is the man! Hilarious, nice, and gets right to the point. Strongly suggest him.
Great doctor, knowledgable, friendly and personable
As ever, Dr. Delson takes the time to solve the issue you have. He's forensic in his approach! Great bedside manner and tells you straight, too!
Dr. Delson is definitely a character. He is very funny and warm. I don't know that he would be everyone's cup of tea, but I really enjoy all of my visits with him. I always leave laughing. He really wants to get to the root of whatever medical issue you come in with and solve it.
An excellent doctor by all measures.
Dr. Delson was excellent as always. Very personal and always love his music selection!
Dr. Jeffrey Delson always goes above and beyond
Really enjoyed my meeting with Dr. Delson. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I liked his small office and his personal approach. I had a knee problem and plan to follow on his recommended treatment.
I enjoyed my visit and feel quite comfortable with Dr. Delson.
Didn't even take my blood pressure or listen to my heart, when I was complaining about irregular heart rate! Overall didn't really listen to me or care about how I was feeling - seemed like he latched on to one idea immediately upon hearing my first symptom and stuck to it, almost stubbornly. Won't be back.
What an amazing doctor's visit (and really, who ever gets to say that?) Dr. Delson was so real and cool and with it, that I almost want to make up reasons to go back. He offered real-life advice and great conversation, as well as explained what might be causing my ailments instead of just treating them. It was a refreshing experience to connect with a doctor instead of being reminded just how valuable their time is. Ten stars!
Great office and doctor. very personal. conversational. caring.
Not that I like to go to the doctor's office, but it's always a pleasure seeing Dr. Delson. He is caring and intuitive in his diagnoses and I always feel that I can trust him with my health.
Great and personalized
A total professional, I have been a patient of Dr.Delson for years , and would never go to any other doctor! ! K,shannnon
By far the best Doctor I have seen in New York. Informative, excellent bedside manner, took the time to read my medical history and discuss options and next steps with me.
I think the world of this doctor he goes out of his way to help me and he always goes above and beyond. He's not what you would picture in New York City doctor to be like he's comforting he doesn't make you feel rushed
Always thorough, thoughtful, considerate and smiling! That said, time management can sometimes be a problem, such that appointments can run late.
Dr Delson is very professional and always makes you feel at ease. He is what you would expect from a 'family' doctor in the West Village!
Dr Delson was easy to book - same day appointment - and there was no wait other than the time it took to fill out my paperwork. He listened to my concerns and was friendly and open throughout our conversation. I also appreciate that he suggested some at-home remedies before jumping to something more extreme.
Great sense of humor and a real expert.
love the guy
First time - seems like a fit. I'll go back!
Dr. Delson is the best thing ever. Nothing more or nothing less. Great guy with a great bedside manner.
I've been visiting Dr. Delson for about 15 years. He is awesome.
Friendly, knowledgeable, just puts you at ease. Big fan of Dr. Delson.
Very friendly , professional and understanding
Best decision I made. I found a doctor that makes me at ease and comfortable.
I was looking for a new primary care doctor and I found it. Dr. Delson is very friendly and I felt comfortable right away.
This was my first time seeing a doctor since relocating up to New York. Doctor Delson was exactly what I was looking for, within 10 minutes of meeting him, I knew that I had found a great doctor and will continue to see him in the future for any medical issue I run into. Knowledgeable, straight-forward, and relaxing: this guy is the real deal.
very kind. energetic. took the time to explai everything to me, answered all my questions, gave suggestions.
He is great! I have been seeing him for years!!!!
Dr. Delson has a unique ability to turn uncomfortable conversations into informative and comedic ones.
Dr. Delson is thorough, considerate, and is really great to talk to. He listens.
Very professional and would recommend him if you are in need of a doctor.
He's awesome. Great guy.
I love Doctor Delson - he has a terrific bedside manner and is overall a great person. The office is small and very clean, he always has music playing. He will get you in and out quickly but pays great attention to everything going on with you and is able to make medical / lifestyle recommendations.
Excellent all around. Very personable, knowledgable, great bedside manner. Takes the time to listen and makes you feel at ease. Highly recommend.
I met with Dr. Delson because I injured my leg while exercising about a week ago. He was so nice and thorough and knew what he was talking about. He was funny, easy to talk to and gave me some some great ideas for alternative exercises during my healing period. Highly recommended!
He was amazing friendly and very knowledgable !
Dr. Delson was fine when I went into his office and I have an HMO so I listed him as my PCP. I saw him after a severe bike accident to get a referral, which he gave me, but a couple of weeks later I needed another one in order to start an approval process for oral surgery. He told my oral surgeon that I needed to come in, (which I had just done) and then didn't answer his phone, never got back to my voice messages and ignored my several emails pleading for him to send the referral through so I didn't have to miss more work, so I could be treated. After two weeks of being completely ignored, I was forced to find another (better) PCP who gave me a referral while I waited. I would never recommend a doctor who won't help their patients get the treatment they need (especially after a sports accident when he is a sports medicine doctor!). I'm not sure why he takes my type of insurance if he's not willing to go through the process.
Dr. Deleon was friendly, knowledgable, and paid attention to my needs and concerns. He quickly recognized what the condition I had was and wrote me a prescription. He also informed me to stay in touch with the outcome after my prescription use. A great doctor with a funny spirit. I would highly recommend! [Note: I was 15 minutes late so another person went ahead of me. This was my fault and not his.]
Exceptional doctor, really listened and cared about what I had to say. Extremely detail oriented. Strongly recommended.
Dr. Delson was quick, knowledgable and made sure I understood everything. He made me feel very comfortable right away, which is rare for me! Highly recommended.
Enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Delson. He was very informative and listened carefully to everything I had to say. I never felt rushed, despite it being late in the day, when he was due to be finishing up. He also gave me some very clear and constructive feedback on how I had been exercising and what may have be contributing to some issues.
I went to Jeffrey Delson with a viral infection and persistent cough while travelling overseas to New York on holiday. Awesome straight forward. Seemed very knowledgeable which was great as I don't like fluffy. If I lived in NYC I would look for someone like Jeffrey to be my GP.
Dr. Delson is awesome. Expedient visit and he's very humorous. I would highly recommend.
So nice, friendly, and helpful
Dr Delson is awesome. He is thourough, professional and personable. A+
Dr Delson was very personable and understanding, and gave some good insight into psychological issues I was facing from a human perspective. He has a dry sense of humor which can come off as crass, intrusive and rude to some people, but I enjoyed his sense of humor. After one appointment not everything I was concerned with was fully addressed, but I look forward to future and follow-up appointments.
Had a great experience - Dr. Delson is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and has a good sense of humor. Highly recommend!
Would recommend definitely
Great listener, knew which advice to offer, and kept things relaxed.
He is very friendly and knowledgeable dr. The office is great and make you feel home
What a dude! My kind of guy -- energetic, warm, and to-the-point. Gave me tips on my push-up form as to avoid injury. Told entertaining anecdotes. Also has a beautiful office. Finally found my NYC doc I'll go to for everything.
Dr. Delson is a beautiful man inside and out. I've always been told to never trust a doctor who doesn't practice what he preaches. Dr. Delson is one of the most fit and healthy physicians I have ever come into contact with. His office is also beautifully done, comforting, and homey. I will definitely be back.
Informative as always.
I've been going to Dr. Delson for over 3 years now and highly recommend him. I've referred several friends and they have nothing but great things to say as well. He genuinely cares about his patients and is very thorough. He gets you in and out while also taking the time to hear how you're doing on a personal level. His office manager, Melissa, is a pleasure to work with as well. I book all of my appointments through ZocDoc and can typically get in the next day. He's also quick to confirm your appointment and is available for questions via email.
Cool office in West Village. Courteous, easy going but very professional. Went to him because I switched insurances and he's in network with them. I plan on going back to him for all future visits.
NICE GUY. NOT FLEXIBLE WHEN TRYING TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT UNLESS DONE THROUGH ZOC DOC. PRESCRIBES DRUGS EASILY, NOT PROFESSIONAL.
I had an excellent first visit with Dr. Delson. It was a comfortable experience, he has a great sense of humor, easy to talk to, and you can expect a straight answer. Highly recommended.
Dr Delson and his team are the best.
I usually don't like going to the doctor, but Dr. Delson was very down to earth, welcoming and relatable.
Finally found a great GP
The guy is just tremendous
Dr. Delson is an excellent doctor who knows what he's talking about and keeps up to the minute in what's going on in medicine.
He is a professional and sensitive physician. I recommend him highly.
Good thoughtful discussion and good advice.
He was efficient and straightforward about his medical opinion- a great experience all around!
Made me feel at ease immediately, was really friendly and took time to throughly go over all my concerns.
He is just fantastic...a "friend" doctor :)
Absolutely amazing doctor. He was to the point, had great advice and a very personable manner. I tore ligaments in my calf and can't take part in a highly anticipated tournament, but even with those news, I had a good laugh. Highly recommended.
Dr. Delson knows his stuff and communicates the information one needs in a comprehensible yet complete fashion.
Informative and efficient. Provided clinical care and helpful advice.
Love Dr. Delson. He is the most down to earth, practical doctor you'll ever meet!
Thorough, personable, and provided a lot of great info! Highly recommend Dr. Delson
Dr. Delson is the general physician I've been looking for in Manhattan. When I need him, I am always seen right away. His diagnoses are always intuitive and accurate, and his demeanor is comforting, entertaining and refreshing. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
Terrific doctor. Super helpful and easy going.
Doctor Delson is the bee's knees! Talk about timely, efficient, and not to mention he's incredibly handsome. Hats off to another enjoyable visit!
I'd definitely recommend Dr. Delson to others. He's not only a great doctor, but is also hilarious. And they do say laughter is the best medicine!
Dr. Delson is an excellent physician in general. He's thoughtful, pragmatic, not instantly inclined to prescribe drugs, and has a jovial approach to office visits.
One never thinks of a doctor visit as the highlight of one's day. But, it was! There was no wait (and I had arrived 20 min early), Dr Delson took his time in listening to my ramblings, and he was highly personable and funny. I have already recommended him to a friend.
Still my most favorite doctor ever.
Great doctor! Definitely would recommend him and definitely will go back.
Dr. Delson knows his stuff and communicates very well.
Dr. Delson was fantastic - his office is adorable, clean and very close to my home. He has great hours and I waited no longer than 5 minutes before seeing him. He is very friendly, terrific bedside manner. I'm very happy I found him.
Very knowledgeable - genuinely seems to know what he's talking about in terms of medication and their benefits, effect, and alternative options if medication isn't the best option. Five times over the best experience I've had with a NYC doctor since I moved to NYC... and I've been here for 5 years.
He is the best
Great personable doctor! Would highly recommend.
Had a great experience with Dr. Delson! His bedside manner is refreshing. Very relateable and attentive
Greatful for a valuable and considerate consultation.
Dr. Jeffrey Delson is one of the best doctors I have ever gone to.
Great friendly doctor. Very relatable and personable. Highly recommend!
I Have been going to Dr. D for 4 years now! I will be sad to leave-- nobody in LA will compare!
He's great! Easy to talk to and willing to help with whatever is ailing you. Also affordable for the non-insured (like me)!
The doctor was attentive to my needs and asked some very good questions. I will definitely go back to see him.
Dr. Delson is extremely professional and incredibly sincere. I would and do recommend him to anyone that asks for a physician!!
I've been seeing Dr Delson for many years. He is an invaluable part of my life/health. I will never take for granted how how lucky I am to have surrounded myself w/ such special and caring people like Dr D.
Dr. Delson is fantastic. I went in for an annual physical and he saw me immediately, kept the mood light, addressed all of my concerns, and had me in and out very quickly. He is a very friendly and talkative guy, not your usually stuffy doctor.
pretentious, rude, and horrible bedside manor.
Dr. Delson listens to his patients and addresses all their concerns.
I had an incredibly pleasant and entertaining experience with Dr. Delson. He turned, what to me was, a slightly embarrassing concern into a comfortable and fun conversation.
Quirky, great sense of humor, straight shooter.
I've never laughed so much at the doctor's office! It was my first time at the office, and Dr. Delson was not only very professional, but he has an excellent sense of humor. He helped identify my knee injury and discussed options with me in the most appropriate way. I may have finally found the right general practitioner
PROS: One of the nicest office environments I've ever been in - very cozy. Dr. Delson is nice enough and has an amusing/quirky personality. CONS: Dr. Delson loves to talk to the point that he won't really give you an opportunity to speak about all your concerns. I kept finding myself looking and waiting (for a long time) for an opportunity to get a word in edgewise. I felt like there was a lot of important symptoms and relevant context that he wasn't even giving me an opportunity to present. The few times I did start talking, he actually cut me off a few times. This is also going to sound strange, but, it was incredibly unsettling to see him read from Wikipedia on his iPad throughout the entire session. I know this because he said himself that he was reading from Wikipedia. He literally read me paragraph and paragraphs. He also opened up one of a handful of textbooks he had in the office at one point. These actions didn't give me a lot of confidence that he had experience/authority with my illness (the Wikipedia on iPad thing being the most disturbing). He eventually sent me to get a test and I emailed him afterwards. I started exhibiting an additional symptom which I shared with him via email and he casually mentioned surgery in his response. This really upset me because I didn't think email, especially the nonchalant way he did it, was the right way to mention that someone might have to get surgery. He was also cryptic and didn't acknowledge my other question. I was pretty upset but took his suggestion of seeing a specialist who set me at ease and fully heard me out and explained my situation. I felt a lot better. Dr. Delson asked how the specialist's visit went so when I told him all this, Dr. Delson's response was "what about surgery?" I could not understand why he was so insistent on surgery with no basis for it. I didn't want to show that I was upset so I just explained what the specialist explained. Finally, I asked Dr. Delson how I should communicate my situation / level of contagiousness to my employer as they had inquired. Two days later and still no response. So essentially I never got any answers to my questions but I did get a lot of offhand suggestions of surgery. In my opinion, a doctor who you have to fight to even mention all of your symptoms, is not one I would recommend. The reading multiple paragraphs from Wikipedia on an iPad was probably the funniest but craziest part. I see a lot of people enjoyed working with him so maybe he's good for common illnesses but with my unique situation, I would not recommend at all. Best of luck to all.
Dr. Delson was fantastic!
He's really great - open to hearing your concerns and giving you options on how he can best help with your health.
Dr. Delson is very clear, caring, and specific. He explained his recommendations/diagnosis in detail and made me feel very informed.
I've been going to Jeffrey for years. He's a true family and community doctor with a dedicated following. Love him!
Dr Delson is great. Have sent several family members to him and they all agree.
Dr. Delson instantly made me feel at ease and seemed genuinely interested in what I was seeing him about. I highly recommend him!
I'm not sure what others see in this doctor, but I had an absolutely terrible experience. Don't go here if you're looking for an annual physical. When explaining that's why I was there, he launched into a highfalutin talk about society's view of preventive medicine, all the medical journals he reads & contributes to, and that I was "young, slim, and 'looked' healthy" and therefore really don't need an annual physical unless I notice any change in my body. He described how young, healthy people are flooding into his office from ZocDoc because we're encouraged to check the box and get a physical, versus acknowledging that we are being proactive about health. Used insulting language like "in case you're sleeping around" when asking if I wanted an STD test (I've actually been in a relationship for 4 years, but thanks for the assumption). Maybe he's a great doctor for others, but I unfortunately had a very negative experience here.
Always great to speak to Dr. D.
He has a wonderful attitude and made me feel comfortable!
Dr Delson is a straight talker. He's very direct with his opinion on all matters. He takes his time getting to know you and trying to understand all that is occurring around health and wellness. He does not rush you out of the office.
This doctor was very friendly and extremely personable. In my first visit, we got to know each other, I have next steps, was seen on time (actually a little bit earlier!), and wasn't there for a long time. The overall experience was great and that's what I was looking for with a doctor. Highly recommend.
I've been going to Dr. Delson for years for all my sports injuries. I have always appreciated his holistic approach. From my experience with him, I know I can trust his medical opinion and that by doing exactly what tells me to do, I'll get better. He has never wasted my time with the unnecessary but standard, generic treatments prescribed by most physicians and sports med docs. He is empathic to how important physical discipline is to an active person and how depressing it can be when one can't pursue it, so he works to get you back on your feet rather than tied to his office. He's great at explaining what's going on and putting it in perspective in terms of what to expect and how best to adapt to whatever limitations you're experiencing. BTW he's also got a really nice office--a pleasure to wait in, though you typically don't get to wait very long.
AMAZING. Super nice, knowledgeable, and great sense of humor. If you need a new doctor, look no further.
Dr. Delson is my favorite health practitioner in NYC. He is personable and professional. He gets to the point without making you feel rushed.
Very personable! Great Doctor
Professional, thoughtful in a charming setting. Highly recommended.
The visit was fine although Dr. Delson's advice was slightly questionable. But his office just charged a not-small amount to my credit card without asking/notifying me or sending me a bill, more than a month after my actual visit. So I'm not happy about that. I guess be warned that his office does this if you give them your credit card information.
Dr Delson is the man. All else are haters.
What a great experience. The office was nice, I got seen right away and most importantly Dr. Delson made me feel comfortable and at ease.
He is awesome! He was very easy to talk to, is very experienced and very honest.
Dr. D is the best doctor I have seen in the city. He is always a delight and very knowledgeable on all issues presented.
Dr. Delson is knowledgable and caring.
Dr. Delson is a really nice guy and a caring doctor. He takes time to listen well and educate his patients, and puts you at ease with his no-nonsense and humorous style.
Dr. Delson is awesome -- no nonsense, knows his stuff, and is a straight shooter. Highly recommend.
Dr. Delson is great! Super friendly and easy to talk to, low key office with little or no wait.
Firstly, this doctor asked me to write down my credit card information INCLUDING the security code AND the expiration date-- all for the patient record documents. He said he needs to hold people accountable for the copay payments. I refused. He thought i was overly paranoid, but I am pretty sure that's how we keep our personal information safe. Then, even though I had made an appointment for an annual physical, he said he doesn't keep the examination equipment in the office. Instead he told me that I was too young to be worried about things anyway (even though annual physicals are designed to check and prevent things to be worried about), and asked me very intuitive questions, like how many alcoholic drinks I have per week (his response to my answer of 4 drinks: only 4? do you not have a life?), and wrote me off to a testing center, with which I'd have to book yet another separate appointment. Terrible experience, at least for an annual physical. The doctor is incredibly "free-spirited" and does not seem professional at all. I recommend a more established place for your examinations.
Lovely manner and takes time with you which is appreciated, especially in NY where most people move too fast to listen fully.
My second visit with the Dr. His easy going but straightforward manner is excellent. I feel at ease around him and will continue to go to him. Highly recommended!
Really friendly and easy to talk to. Speaks about things in a way that helps you understand and makes you feel comfortable
I have seen Dr. Delson for a very long time and appreciate his wit and humor and ability to show care and compassion when that is needed as well.
Dr. Delson was professional, insightful, took his time, and had a fantastic bedside manner. He answered all my questions and it was a thorough and informative exam. Definitely recommend.
Didn't even check vitals. Didn't quite feel like I booked a doctor's appointment. Bit snappy with my lack of understanding of things that doctors may know, not the patient.
Second time I've seen Dr. Delson, first time for an appointment related to his specialty - and like the first time, he was great! I was seen quickly, he very quickly gave me a treatment plan, and I'm looking forward to being back in top bouldering shape!
If you hate going to the Doctor then switch your doctor to Dr. Delson, brilliant and funny.
Dr. Delson was following up on a matter I'd seen him about last month. He initiated the follow up, something I much appreciate.
He is great! Such a warm comforting Doctor that is genuine.
Good guy, smart and no BS. Straight shooter
Knowlegeable and keeps up with contemporary medicine as well as alternative approaches. Best doctor I've seen yet. Highly recommend for anyone!
This is the best doctor visit I've had. Dr. Delson is super likeable, awesome bedside manner, real straight shooter. He is definitely my new Doc.
Super nice guy. Really down to earth. I got referred from a friend who saw Dr. Delson and I will be returning the favor.
He was very personable and knew exactly what was wrong. I felt very comfortable in his office and plan on continuing to use him. This is coming from someone who does not typically like doctors.
Very professional, knowledgeable, gave practical advice in dealing with specialists. I am glad that Dr. Delson is my new physician.
Dr. D is one of the best doctors I have ever visited.
As always, a straightforward and comprehensive session with Dr. Delson. He's great.
Dr. Delson took care of the medical problems I presented and answered all my questions fully. I've been a patient of his for many years and appreciate his skill and knowledge.
Dr.Delson is the best!!
Doctor Delson is the best doctor I have ever seen, and I have been seeing him for 2,5 years. He will treat you like an adult though, so be warned.
Went for sports medicine: knee issues. A lot of the Dr's observations / advice corroborated months of my own observations and tendencies/problems that athletic trainers, yoga instructors, etc, had pointed out to me in the past. I was impressed by how quickly he arrived at his assessment. Also liked that he was not quick to prescribe MRI / surgery, etc. Instead gave some practical dyi tips / research topics / regimens.
Great bedside manner and easy to talk to. Saw me right away
Dr Delson is very patient and listens to your issues and concerns.
Dr Delson was very friendly and easy going. Very approachable and talkative. His office is very nice and tastefully decorated (not very common with a doctor's office in my opinion). He apologized for having me wait for about 25 minutes. I just went for my annual physical exam, so I had no specific issues or problems. I wouldn't say it felt in-depth and detailed, but I have no health issues or history, and no reason to think something is wrong, so I think that is fine. We talked in general about life and any stress or emotional challenges. He does not do bloodwork in the office, which is a slight inconvenience, having to make a second appointment with the lab, but not a huge deal. Once the results from that come back, I guess we'll see if anything might be wrong. I was also hoping to get a flu shot, which he does not offer- but I can easily go to a local pharmacy and get that for free, so that's fine.
Very personable and helpful. First time patient and I will probably see him again if I need to.
He's the man
This was my first time ever receiving care from this doctor and I was more than impressed. He had a same-day opening so I was a bit skeptical but he was without a doubt the most personal and knowledgeable doctor I have ever been seen by. He had genuine concern for my symptoms and well-being. His office was also beautiful and quaint. I am happy to know that there is someone so close to my office that I can trust if I'm sick! He also gave me his email just in case I had any questions or concerns!
very personable and knowledgable. will continue my care with him!
Dr. Delson is great! He's very knowledgeable and personable. He was able to identify my problem right away.
Dr. Delson, is one of the most approachable, real doctors I've ever come across. I trust his judgement, which I don't readily give to many medical professionals.
Great doctor would definitely see again.
Great energy. Very to-the-point and professional, but friendly.
He's quick and efficient and knows a ton about a lot of things
Tried to rush me in and out-- didn't even weigh me or do anything except check my blood pressure and give me a number to call if I wanted to get tested for STD's. Nice guy, but you'd hope fore a little more care.
Awesome doctor. Will be my new primary doctor.
Right on time, no wait. The office is nice and professional, and Dr. Delson was very easy to talk to and seemed very knowledgeable. Great first visit.
Dr. Jeffrey Delson was great this morning! He helped me determine a pain I was having on top of other issues. He is real, clear and helpful. If you are looking for someone beat around the bush or baby you he is not your kind of Dr. If need be I will see him again.
I highly recommend Dr Delson. I'm glad to have found a trusted local doctor (with a sense of humour!).
First time meeting Dr. Delson.. it was a pleasure. I would highly recommend him.
He is a great doctor. I always feel free to ask him questions.
Best doctor ever!
No bs. Great energy. Funny guy.
My first visit to jeffery was great. Really nice to find a good doctor in the neighbourhood.
that was nice, thnx
Fantastic. Really sorry I didn't try zocdoc sooner!
Dr. Delson looked very friendly and welcoming at the beginning of my visit. I can hardly believe in what happened afterwards: his dog entered the room where I was being visited, lingered there for a few seconds and he did not even bother getting the dog to leave the room. Then, during the course of the visit he was very unprofessional as he cursed several times instead of using more technical terms. Overall, he did not look very knowledgeable as he purposefully tried to avoid addressing some of my concerns and clearly wanted dismiss me when I still had a couple of questions to ask him.
Straight forward, kind and relaxed.
Straight forward but extremely friendly! Will definitely be back!
This was my third time seeing Dr Delson. He really knows how to set you at ease. Also he's a great story teller, I've never had a visit where he didn't tell me a story that directly related to my issues. Medical advice is spot on. He's great, highly recommend.
Dr Delson is straight-forward but personable. His office is small and his interaction is friendly. Usually he'll greet each client by name from memory. If you're in or near the west village, Dr Delson is a great choice for a primary care provider.
I love Dr. D!
He was very helpful. Made some concrete suggestions about how to address my problem.
Best doctor in NYC. Listens to all your concerns and makes you feel comfortabl. Great experience!
Very glad I chose to go see Dr. Delson. I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new PCP. He was very informative and addressed all the topics I wished to discuss as well as straight to the point. Was seen very quickly and felt very comfortable, would definitely recommend to others.
Very easy to talk to; got right to what was wrong; will definitely be continuing the relationship as a primary care physician.
Dr. Delson is a straight-shooter. He'll ask you sincerely if you want any particular work done, and he'll explain why you might or might not need that treatment so that you have all the information you need before deciding. Very knowledgeable and gives practical tips for how to better keep track of your health for the times you do need to visit the doctor, even for basic physicals.
Best doctor in town!
The visit was short, but very helpful. He was very willing to give me advice and answer my questions. Going back for sure!
He was very thorough, engaging, and helpful. Felt at ease. I will go back in the future.
LOVE the office, LOVE how comfortable Dr. Delson made me feel. He will be my new Primary care Dr for sure!
knowledgeable and down to earth
Short fast to the point friendly and funny. He put me at ease immediately. This is my new family doctor!!!
Dr D is the best!
Favorite Primary Care doc ever!
I was a patient of Dr. Delson's many years ago and I thought he was great back then. When I moved back to New York 10 years later and saw that he was still practicing, there was no question in my mind that I would go back. He's still great! He doesn't beat around the bush and really listens. Great, great doctor!
Very easy to speak with... and truly knows his stuff!
Great MD, extremely personable and friendly. Great bedside manner and easy to talk to. Highly recommend him. Will definitely be coming back if I need additional care.
Easy to talk to and a realist.
Dr. Delson put me at ease about my symptoms right away. He described the likely causes and his treatment recommendation (aspirin, ice, and rest) and sent me off to get an ultrasound just to be sure that there wasn't anything more serious. Very highly recommended.
Dr. Delson was great. Down to earth.Very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything in detail. Will be back with any problem I have in the future. Highly recommended.
Dr. Delson saw me almost an hour before my scheduled appointment because my availability changed last minute. He was extremely thorough and took the time to explain everything carefully. He made me feel very comfortable.
He's looked after me for a very long time. He makes u feel that u r not alone. Love this guy!
Excellent doctor. I will continue seeing him off insurance. Feel free to reach out to me for a more thorough review of Dr. Delson, just contact me through ZocDoc. Thanks.
He's the absolute best!
After a few years of Dr. Delson as my PCP, I am not going back. Since I began seeing him, I have consistently had to insist on having routine work done during my annual exam. He seems more interested to prescribe me anti-depressants than in treating any physical concerns I have.
He's the best in the city. Love this guy!!
Even though I had just one visit, it was excellent. Highly recommended.
Very nice doctor with excellent bedside manner. Very professional and quick diagnosis though I did not feel rushed.
Wonderful experience, found my new general doctor in New York since moving. Gorgeous office ambiance and feel, left feeling great!
Great, knowledgeable doctor and a good man.
Spent the first 1/2 hour talking at me about his personal marketing projects, completely irrelevant to the situation. Provided no expertise, and was offensive in his assumptions about my ailment, including straight out calling me anorexic (which i am not) and telling me my boyfriend had most likely given me an std (which was definitely not the case). Really strange guy.
Excellent doctor who really listens to you and works with you to find a solution to any issues or problems you have be experiencing.
He was running a little late, so I had to wait about 30 min, but was a very good experience once it got going. He asked pertinent questions, talked through possible causes and solutions and inspired confidence without a know-it-all attitude.
Very nice personality and uses humor to lighten up the mood and does not recommend unnecessary tests
I really like Dr. Delson. He's frank and spends a good amount of time discussing things with me. His office is very nice and clean.
Dr. Delson is always a pleasure to visit, despite the purpose for the visit.
He was rude, abrupt and quick to get me out of his office.
Very easy to talk to. Very professional. I've only been a patient for a short time but I am very happy he was recommended to me. Excellent.
Delson is likable, efficient, understanding ... what a great doctor! Great waiting room environment (love the classical music) ... almost with I could wait longer to enjoy the break in my day. And very nice coffee around the corner for either coming or going. Half-block from subway, lovely street in the Village.
Mr Delson is Amazing. Ill pass on feedback of performance, ; )
Friendly and thorough. Great doctor. --JG
Jeffrey was very nice, thorough, and concerned about an interesting injury I had, while providing helpful next steps. He also had a great personality and gorgeous office, fireplace included!
This was my first time visiting Dr. Delson. I was greeted immediately upon arrival, and waited only about 10 minutes before I was seen. Dr. Delson was friendly, and welcoming. When describing my problem he listened attentively, and I never felt rushed. I would recommend him and will definitely continue to use him as my primary care doctor.
This was my first time visiting Dr. Delson and he was awesome. I felt like I knew him for years. He made me feel very comfortable and took time to learn more about me.
Dr. D is the best!
dr. delson rules
Dr. Delson listened and reasoned through along with me to understand the symptoms and pinpoint the cause.
Doctor Delson is the best. Smart, professional, caring...
Best MD around. Great cozy office, (no fluorescent lights!!), soothing music, non-judgemental, very personable--- funny and easy to talk to.
No nonsense kind of guy - but I loved it. Made me feel really comfortable and made me laugh the whole time. The office is really cozy - fireplace cozy.
I arrived nearly 20 mins early and was able to get in prior to my actual appointment time. Dr. Delson rocks.
AMAZING. so easy to talk to and certainly know his stuff!
Great, doctor. VERY professional and well-appointed office. I'm glad my colleague recommended him.
Definitely a thumbs for Dr. Delson.
This was my first visit with Dr. Delson. I haven't been to a doctor in a long time, and I was incredibly happy to find him. The office is a very comforting room with a fireplace. There weren't too many forms to fill out, and he saw me right away. The appointment didn't feel rushed at all - which was one of my big pet peeves with other doctors. He gave me some great practical advice and answered all of my questions. Literally perfect.
I was a patient of Dr. Delson's many years ago but then I moved away. I was delighted that he was still in practice when I recently moved back to New York and surprised that he still remembered me! He's easy to talk to, takes his time and tells it like it is. There's no one better.
Awesome as always. Best doctor I've ever had.
Excellent as always.
Excellent doctor!! Highly recommended!
He was so kind and attentive. I really appreciate his straightforward personality, and I love that he's willing to look into all kinds of alternatives. I trust him with my health!
Great and friendly doctor. Highly recommend Dr. Delson.
Dr. Delson provides a personal and caring service that's rare in New York.
Dr. Delson is a fantastic doctor and person in general. He makes the process of going to the doctor's office feel like you're visiting a wise and helpful friend. I highly recommend him.
Great. Very helpful.
Not very helpful. I didn't leave with any more information or solutions than what I came with.
I've been seeing Doctor Delson for years. Even between long lapses you get the feeling he still remembers you like it was just last week. He really cares and takes his time with each patient, and I love his great sense of humor.
I've been going to Dr. Delson for close to 3 years now and he is absolutely the best! He's smart, funny and a no bull shit kind of guy, he will definitely tell you how it is but he cares about you and what's going on. I started going to Dr. Delson for an old sports injury I re-injured but now I go to him for everything. I've recommended him to all of my friends and coworkers and they all love him, too, and have all made him their primary doctor. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Delson!
He is an excellent Doctor, who knows his patients by name. Very friendly, and knowledgable. Always a pleasure to have an appointment with Dr. Delson.
I've had a lot of doctors in New York, and Dr. Delson is my favorite by a mile. It's a pleasure to see him for appointments, he's a great listener, and his office is awesome.
Great doctor. Really thoughtful and caring. I've been going to Delson every month for the past year and he continues to be a great doctor.
First visit, he's jokey and addressed my issues. Followup visit to come, after test results.
Very efficient and personable.
Dr.Delson has a wonderful bedside manner , he is always professional and very helpful. I never feel rushed and all of my questions and fears are always answered and laid to rest when I see Dr. Delson. Melissa is the sweetest office manager I have ever come across in all my years of seeing doctors. I would highly recommend Dr.Delson to friends and family. Kathleen Shannon
A new approach to patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Delson is very kind and straight-forward. Its definitely refreshing.
Really love this guy... Would (and have) recommended to friends and family...
Great doctor. Very caring.
Just an all around great guy, easy to talk to. Exactly what one wants in a doctor.
Awesome doctor, so down to earth and really funny. Made me re-think my distaste in going to the doctor!
Convenient location, very friendly manner, great to deal with.
Very helpful. Caring. Takes time.
Dr Delson is great, he has been my primary care doctor since I moved to New York 7 years ago.
Love Dr. Delson. Very smart, informed, helpful and prompt.
He was a great doctor, friendly and really listened. Helped me right away. I highly recommend him!
great visit, as always. Doc Delson is always very helpful and knowledgeable about my sports related injuries.
Dr. Delson has great bedside manner, is very friendly and prompt with appointments. He's a good doctor. My only complaint is that he can be hard to reach by email, and can never be reached by phone. This is important to me as a patient.
Dr. Delson is great. Reminds me of my family doctor growing up...
Dr Delson is great.
Dr. Delson has a great sense of humor and is a very helpful and thoughtful professional. Definitely a man that provides a bit of familiarity, even on the first visit. Will definitely be going back to Dr. Delson as my primary care physician.
Not afraid to get to know you and will take care of you on a personal and professional level
Booked evening appointment, and was triple-booked for same time. Got rushed in and out without addressing actual medical issues, and was told "we'll talk about that at your next appointment". Dr. Delson is nice enough, but this was a complete waste of time & money, and there certainly won't be a next time.
he is the best!
The office was cozy and comfortable. Dr. Delson was really nice and helpful.
A physician who does his profession proud.
Doctor could improve on his listening skills...tends to cut me off and not fully describe what's going on. Otherwise, he's a great guy.
Highly recommended Dr Delson. He was knowledgeable, took the time to explain things to me and had exceptional bed side manner. My new primary care physician!
Overall good visit. He seemed knowledgeable and was direct and to the point.
What a great doctor!
Dr. Delson was great! He was personable, smart and efficient. His office was cozy and his staff was friendly. He is definitely my new general practitioner.
Love Delson. Great doctor.
Very professional, friendly, relaxed.
As always, a pleasure to be a patient.
Awesome doctor! Will absolutely come back to, great guy and very easy to talk to!
Dr. Delson was great. When you come out of a doctor's office feeling better than when you went in purely from your experience there, you know you've found a special doctor.
Very practical, explained what he thought the problem was and suggested a conservative course of treatment with logical escalation points.
Sense of humor and very knowledgable. Will definitely return.
Definitely my favorite doctor I've ever had.
Easy in. Easy out.
So nice! Easy to talk to.
He's a great guy and he knows his stuff. He told me important information, like how to stand properly with my body type, that other doctors actually never told me (even though that's really important).
Wonderful. Enough said.
Excellent I´ll be back if I ever need it!
Great doctor, very personal approach, knowledgeable and really takes time to examine. Highly recommend! So happy to find him!
Dr. Delson identified my issue right away and was super easy to talk to. Looking forward to my follow up.
Personal opinion, but I noticed he was also had certifications in eastern medicine. I'm not sure why, but that was unappealing to me, but to each his own.
Jeffrey was fantastic! He was very professional but also personable and very consultative. He did a wonderful job of figuring out what the problem was and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend Jeffrey Delson.
The appointment was very rushed. He kept leaving the room every few minutes deal with other things that were going on in the office, and kept telling me he was in a hurry because he was leaving town in a little while. I was told that a knee injury that was causing me pain was just going to do that and there was nothing else we could do. Also got blood work done and was never called about the results. I called and was told to send an email and the doctor would email me my results. He seems like a nice enough guy but overall just a very unsatisfactory and rushed experience.
He's very down to earth and personable - also gave me some great advice on a few things.
Clearly an expert in sports medicine and other general practice medicines.
Was a great visit! Dr. Delson took the time to answer all my questions and to provide thorough explanations. He was also very cordial.
Dr. Delson is awesome! he is funny and classy!
Loved the doc. Would definitely go back if I needed another general consult.
Very knowledgeable professional, perfect manners and great sense of humor.
The atmosphere is intimate and relaxing, and most important is that I did not feel rushed. This was a welcome departure from more typical doctor visits, when it seems like most doctors can't wait to get out of the room.
As always, Dr Delson spent time working out not only what was wrong but what had caused it. He's great.
Great Doctor. Very easy to talk to. Very helpful.
Dr. Delson is such an amazing find! Caring, warm, friendly and with a great sense of humor and easy smile. I felt listened to and never rushed. Couldn't recommend him enough.
He's extremely personable, and professional!
Very personable and outgoing!
By far the best most down to earth doctor I have ever been to.
Best doctor I've been to since moving to NY. Will definitely see again.
Mixed feelings about Dr. Delson. I went for an annual physical and I arrived late which was obviously my mistake. He took the patient that arrived before me first but saw me immediately after that. Previous reviews are accurate that he was the only person there; seeing patients, answering the phone, opening the door, etc. Once I saw the doctor he took his time and gave me a proper check up and even helped me with a lingering injury I had. The reason I rated his bedside manner as "unsatisfactory" was because he didn't play the role of the doctor regarding my blood work. When I asked for blood work he kind of shrugged his shoulders and began filling out the paper work. He never asked me or consoled me on what my blood should be tested for, I had to ask which I didn't like. Things got worse from there as I had to email (no one ever picked up the phone when I called) to get my results. I received a reply with the report attached but with no phone call or doctor's opinion on my results. I was literally looking at a page of medical data that I couldn't decipher. I replied and asked him to call me twice over the course of a week and eventually received a reply of, "Everything is within normal range." Nothing more.
Been seeing Dr. Delson for 8 years. Best GP ever. Talk is easy, informative, relevant. Great advisor/advocate when health issues required another specialist.
He is a great doctor and a wonderful person!
This is a second review. After many visits I can only hope others are lucky to find a knowledgable, caring, patient, intuitive and finally a genius in detecting the route cause of any physical maladies. A true professional I am so lucky to have found.
Good guy, down to earth, nice cozy office
wonderful and easy as always
His sense of humor was rather offensive, and he hardly bothered doing proper screenings.
This was my 2nd visit to Dr Delson. He is terrific. His office is calming and feels cozy. He listened and provided me with excellent advice and treated me with care. He even asked that I email this week to give updates. Hes fun and lighthearted and I will reccomend him to anyone who will listen.
He was very informative and patient. I threw a lot of information at him and questions regarding my concerns and he addressed them all.
Very helpful and honest, I arrived early and he brought me in right away.
Great office, very quick service. Dr. Delson was sincere and helpful.
Dr. Delson is warm and very knowledgable. I'm relieved to have found the perfect primary care physician.
Dr. Delson was not bad at the initial appointment. Seemed solid and healthy (which was appropriate for my injury as it was a sports injury). But, for the most part, his assessments of my issue were a little bit off and he sent me to another doctor. Upon following up with the Office, the back-and-forth communication for tests results was good at first but eventually became a bit of a wreck as I had to call repeated times with no response. Decent Doctor until the lack of communication toward the end.
He's probably one of the best family physicians I've ever had. I'm very satisfied.
Small office. Warm and friendly staff and doctor. Very down to earth and easy to talk to. Didn't feel rushed. Would recommend him.
He was honest and realistic with my health assessment and provided me with solutions that fit in with my lifestyle.
Dr. Delson is great! He finished up with a previous patient and through sheer experience, or clairvoyance, was ready for me the moment I completed filling out my first-time paperwork.
Dr. Delson is such a nice guy, the best!
Dr. Delson is amazing - relaxing, casual bedside manner. Always good to see him.
Definitely would not recommend. Does not follow up with test results, even after multiple requests via email and phone. Gave me a prescription but I was told not to fill it until he reviewed the results and let me know. He never got back to me and I ended up having to go to another doctor. There are much better doctors on Zocdoc to go to - don't waste your time and money.
He was very helpful and kind.
The visit went extremely smoothly. It was nice to find a doctor in the neighborhood who was able to accomodate me so quickly! I also did not feel rushed which I truly appreciated. Dr. Delson really took his time to listen to me explain my injury, talk through the symptoms, and was patient as I asked questions. All in all, I am so glad that I find a primary care doctor that I feel so comfortable with and is so convenient to my location.
The perfect doctor.
He was very professional and kind. I felt very comfortable talking to him. I will be back.
Didn't really offer much help or insight to my injury.
He was great, insightful and informative.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Delson. He was professional, casual, comfortable, and informative. I highly recommend him if you are seeking a physician.
He is very helpful in providing options for questions that I have. I am happy I found him.
He was great! He explained everything so clearly and gave me tips on what I should be doing to improve my knee pain. He was very thorough and helpful. The office is really cute and on a beautiful little street in the west village. I would definitely go back.
Overall great experience.
He's very personable and real. The visit did feel a little bit rushed since he had back to back patients and was running late. I wonder if a morning appointment would be better.
I am really happy that my friend recommended Dr. Jeffrey. He was very friendly, helped me with many advises and made me feel comfortable.
Great guy to chitchat with however the new patient paper work process was a bit unprofessional. forms looked like copies of copies of old outdated forms where your personal information is stored, it reminded me of high school. He was the only person at the office attending to the door answering the phone calls and seeing the patients. I was worry how my info was handled as i was able to see other patients info on top of his desk..no sense of privacy for his patients information. When filling the forms it pretty much asked for all medical history going back to my family history and when the consultation began he pretty much he didn't tell me anything that wasn't already written in the forms. i felt like at that point i had wasted my time. After seeing him i went for blood work and x rays.. over a week went by and after many calls to find out my results i finally spoke to an assistant who was very unprofessional she did not have my results or could not look for them right there and then, she wanted me to email him so he can email me my results.???? what an awful way to treat your customers and to run business. At that point my frustration grew higher and I demanded for her to find my results and to let me know or have the doctor call me so I know from him not via email. her reply was they have too many patients. Thats when i knew i would not recommend this place to anyone nor I would not step foot there again. If you are looking for a medical practice where you will feel that your personal information will be handled with the proper attention and privacy and where you will be treated professionally by its staff, this is not the place for you.
Dr. Delson is excellent. Treats me like a whole patient, remembers me every time I come in (even though he's got lots of patients) and is very easygoing and fun to visit. Visits with him are also efficient; he's patient and listens well, and will answer all kinds of questions, but each appointment takes just as long as necessary; not a minute more or a minute less.
Intelligent, easy to talk to, minimal wait time. Overall a great experience and would go back to Dr. Delson again.
Overall great experience!
Dr. Delson was incredibly helpful and kind. He provided me with honest health insight and sound advice.
Delson is amazing. Simple as that.
Excellent bedside manner. Trustworthy and I always feel comfortable discussing all matters, health and otherwise, with him.
Dr. Delson quickly diagnosed and treated my sickness and then we discussed my medical history overall. It was very refreshing to have someone take a holistic approach, looking at the medicines and I take, diet, etc. and being really interested in possible ways he could help me with all of it.
Dr. Delson is fantastic. He's polite, funny, honest an really knowledgeable. He gets back to you very quickly and takes the time to follow up as well. I was looking for a good primary Care physician and I think I found him. Kudos to you doctor for not being a know it all, dismissive doctor.
Very friendly doctor, and do things very efficient
one of the best doctors I've ever had. straight forward advice and diagnosis. easy to talk to. very attentive. highly recommended.
Great doctor. Really efficient and friendly.
Dr. Delson was very good. Personable, friendly, and quick to get me in. I'm happy with him and with ZocDoc.
Extremely friendly doctor, super knowledgable as well. I would highly recommend him to anybody!
Dismissive. Spent more time giving his 2 cents of conventional wisdom than actually evaluating me as a patient.
Excellent doctor! Always helpful, knowledgable and professional. Highly recommended!
Very thorough and pleasant. He made me feel very comfortable and had a great sense of humor. I will definitely be back and will be using Dr. Delson as my new primary doc.
He may be for some people but he's not for me. He mocked me for wanting to manage my blood pressure now after not doing it for several years. I didn't care for his manner.
I thought it was great. I haven't had a physical in a REALLY long time so I was nervous - Dr. Delson put me at ease. I need a new primary care doc - think I've found him!
Very nice, however, alternative treatments were overemphasized - not exactly what I was looking for.
Good to talk to about issues. Helpful and informative with a sense of humor.
Always the best. TJN
He was awesome and really knew his stuff! Bedside manner was top-notch!
I went in complaining of a respiratory problems and he didn't even take a look at my chest. I went in for a lunch time appointment and he kept me waiting for almost an hour because he arrived late and had a back log of patients. Not very professional, and will not be going back.
Great guy. Very down to earth and friendly.
Great visit, as far as doctor visits go! The guy knows his stuff and makes sure to address all your convers. Highly recommend.
I think the world of Dr Delson. He's the best!
I thought he was great. He was funny and answered all my questions
Dr. Delson was funny, helpful, and really honest about my treatment. He took time to give me recommendations, and was very personable.
I've been a patient of Dr. Delson's for about six years and I always look forward to seeing him. He's smart and provides excellent guidance; personable, sure to keep you smiling during your visit and best of all a straight shooter when it comes to your health and well being.
Dr. Delson is very knowledgeable, insightful and extremely easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.
Wonderful. Thanks Dr. Delson!
Excellent partner in health. Listens, problem solves, provides great response & resources. No factory here.
Very smart, personable, and experienced. Definitely an insightful and honest visit and I'm hoping his advice will help!
Dr Delson is a down-to-earth and no-nonsense professional. I have been going to him for years.
This guy is very cavalier. He gets you in, makes a few jokes, explains very little, and then rushes you out. If you take medication, he makes you come in every visit for refills, he won't refill on-going prescriptions without a visit, which hits you for another co-pay. That's basically a scam in itself.
Dr. Delson is a rare blend of talent, professionalism, wit, and great judgement. As a doctor, he's in your corner and as his patient, that's peace of mind.
Would definitely see him again!
Dr. Delson is one of the most friendly and knowledgable doctors in the city. His office hours are also very convenient for my work schedule.
Best Doc out there
This was my 2nd appointment with Dr. Delson, and both times he was highly professional, friendly, and very helpful. He happily listened to my concerns and answered all my stupid questions-- and he wasn't stingy with the prescriptions! His receptionists/assistants are all very professional (not to mention hipster-attractive!) and the office is small but nicely turned out. He always seems to be running 30-45 minutes late, but that's not much worse than average in my experience. Highly recommended!
Dr. Delson is great! He's honest, engaging, patient, and understanding. His office is definitely on the more untraditional side, but his quirky bedside manner and sense of humor was refreshing. He also seems very in-tune with the times. I will definitely return!
Great as always!
I felt the doctor did not pay attention to my needs and was rushing me out of his office every time I came in. I had a serious disorder he was not doing his best to treat. He put me on a medication that gave me awful side effects and when I contacted him as requested he was unresponsive. When I told him it was very serious and was concerned I never heard back. I would not recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Delson comes highly recommended. He is a knowledgable physician with a dose of humor and practicality. And he delved further into my medical history to understand my needs.
Id let him perform open heart surgery if he wanted to!
Awesome for a first time visit! Relatable and easy-going.
Dr. Delson is great. I've made him my primary physician. He's quite obviously smart - but such a great guy. Easy to talk to and get along with.
Great. Easy to talk to, provided suggestions and listened. Highly recommend.
Dr. Delson is smart, he's knowledgeable and he has great communication skills.
He was great, very easy to talk to.
Good sense of humor, gave good advice. busy office, lots of clients which is good to see.
He's a great Doctor who gives plenty of personal attention. Wonderful for athletes.
Great personality, easy to talk to, genuine, smart, overall great experience. Thank you Dr. Delson!
Easy to talk to and a very good listener- helpful in understanding the root of any physical troubles. Attune to the varying situational and external factors relative to your condition. One of the rare healthcare professionals that truly provides excellent service, advice and solutions to the needs of each patient. A true gem!
He was a very compassionate and helpful gentleman.
He is excellent! Smart, personable, thoughtful and an all-around nice guy
Fantastic doctor. Knowledgeable, personable, and punctual. I was very happy with my visit.
Dr. Delson was very patient and responded to all of my concerns while consistently reassuring me. His prescriptions were efficient and informative.
Very much enjoyed Dr. Delson... he was helpful, knowledgable and understanding.
Dr. Delson is a pragmatic, thoughtful, smart and warm physician. He's not quick to prescribe and dismiss like many doctors these days. He's got some eastern medicine training and certifications as well, which I appreciated. All in all, a top doc whom I will visit again.
Great, efficient and I'll definitely go back!
A really funny, quirky fellow. Very insightful about my back problems, which remedied themselves with his advice. Took his time and told lots of jokes. Maybe too much for a somber sort, but for me, it was just what the doctor ordered.
He's great! It was fast an easy. And he actually cared about why I was there. Will definitely go back!
One of the best office visits I've ever had with a doctor in NYC. Even though I was late and his last patient of the day, Dr. Delson still spent close to 45 minutes with me, staying past his office hours, to thoroughly assess and discuss my injury. Unheard of! Left feeling confident that I was in good hands and lucky to have found him.
Very attune to preventing/ solving the root of any underlying issues. Easy to talk to about any concerns in which he is a great listener. An overall relief of ease and assurance rarely found in healthcare practices these days.
He was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly; answered all my questions; was able to quickly assess the cause of my knee pain and provide suggestions on how to remedy the problem
Saw me pretty quickly. Very straightforward doctor. Only note is he doesn't take blood in the office.
I am really glad I found him. Nice small office, not tons of people waiting around. Personal attention, interesting sense of humor. I also found his advice and treatment made a lot of sense to me.
Generally he just took a look at my swelling knee, write me a prescription of anodyne and suggest me to put lots of ice on it and probably lie up-side-down leaning against the wall. No physical treatment. He's funny and he's polite.
He was great! I was cautious about switching doctors because I just moved into the city, and he made the experience a positive, enjoyable one. I didn't even mind the fact that it was an 8am appointment! He was friendly, especially helpful and sensitive when answering some of my questions, and I would definitely recommend him to other people!
fast but not rushed, concise, honest, and I felt he is genuinely concerned about my health.
He was really great! I felt he really listened to my concerns and took the time to discuss my issues in-depth me and come up with multiple diagnostic and treatment plans previous doctors never suggested. He's no nonsense but was genuinely interested in my concerns. His office was tiny but low-fuss. I loved my first experience and will definitely be going back.
Dr. Jeffrey Delson not only listened to me and heard all my issues (I came in with a bad cold), he caught things I din't even think off. Going back for sure!
Great doctor, takes the time to listen.
He is good in most areas, however, I cannot comment on everything as it was a quick appointment and was solely for a prescription.
Dr. Jeffrey Delson was absolutely wonderful. He was very patient and professional and took time to answer all my questions and concerns. I finally found my doctor in New York!
very competent, warm and friendly, great sense of humor, awesome PC doc.
In addition to having a rather brusque and hurried bedside manner, Dr. Delson's office just doesn't follow up. Specifically, Dr. Delson ordered labs tests after my first visit. I went to the lab early the next day, and then... nothing. Despite the 3 followup phone calls I made over the past 2 weeks, Dr. Delson's office has not returned any of my calls or provided any information. I will not be returning, and strongly recommend finding a different doctor.
Dr. Delson is simply the best doctor one could wish to have.
Dr. Delson is extremely friendly, helpful, and prompt. He gave me a call on a Saturday to let me know test results, which helped put my mind at ease. Highly recommended.
Great, personable, quick, professional.
I have seen him once thus far (last month)...he seemed to be helpful then...hopefully when i see him this month he will be just as helpful. I haven't spent enough time in his office to truly identify the kind of doctor that i believe he is yet.
My first appointment with Dr. Delson was great. He is very direct and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to friends and family.
The doctor really took time to chat with me. I appreciated that!
Best doctor I've had and I've seen my share of proffessionals.
Dr Delson makes you feel at ease right away and is very approachable. He took the time to look into my personal medical history and he uncovered heath issues no other Doctor had. He looked at the "Big Picture" and we discussed various options that were right for me.
Always good. Honest and reassuring.
This was my second appointment with Dr. Delson and I am extremely impressed. I would definitely recommend him!
As always, he was fun and forthright. A no-nonsense doctor with an unusual (read hilarious) bedside manner. I've been seeing Dr. D for 10 years and thoroughly appreciate his experience and unique advice.
Smart and personable, as always.
Funny, informative and very caring.
Dr Delson was great. Very honest and friendly. I highly recommend him. Thanks Doc!
Informative, feel he had a good grasp of the problem and some treatment for it. A satisfyng consultation. He's got a clorful personality which might not be for everybody, but I will certainly follow-up with him and consult him when future issues arise.
Dr. Delson is a rare find. A patient and attentive physician who listens and attends to my long term health.
Very positive experience!
Extremely personable and helpful. Great visit!
I was very happy with my visit to Dr. Delson. I only had to wait a few minutes in the office before seeing him. He is very friendly, and did not make me feel rushed at all like some other doctors may do. He really took his time to understand my problem, and explain things to me. He provided a bunch of different ways to manage my injury. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr Delson was respectful, funny and very helpful in providing appropriate follow-ups for my issue. As a new patient I felt right at home. Also, his office was nice enough to confirm that they accepted my insurance (which I wrote in my appointment notes was a concern).
Dr. Delson is a nice, friendly and knowledgeable doctor that sees you right away and cares very much about your well-being.
He was very thorough and easy to talk to!
Dr. Delson has to be the best doc I've ever had. He has a great sense of humor and treats you more like a friend than a patient.
Excellent, as usual!
Valuable information--thanks Dr. Delson!
This was my follow-up visit. Though I was cured, much thanks to my initial visit with Dr. Delson, he again took great length and time to ensure the best care for my physical health
I thought he was great -- very friendly and professional. I got an appointment for the same day, came in and filled out my paperwork, and then was seen right away.
Always resourceful, caring and charmer to boot!
Dr Delson really listens and ask questions to get to the root of what's causing problems. He is the best doctor I have ever seen.
Great visit! Dr. Delson was very professional but still friendly.
You can never tell by the first visit if the doctor is good. But Dr. Delson took time to listen to my issues and to explain possible reasons. I went there for an annual and I don't think I got one. I wasn't even examined, no BP, no lab work. It didn't really matter that much to me because I had a problem I needed to take care of and that was taken care of. It seemed like the office had no help, no nurse, only one exam room. I can't deny that I made an appt the same day I was seen which happens rarely with doctors. I'm going back again for a follow up and then I'm going to draw my final conclusions
He is an excellent doctor and extremely personable. I highly recommend him.
Dr Delson took great time to diagnose my symptoms and provided immediate treatment. I was grateful to have his immediate care as well. I would strongly recommend Dr Delson's professional care.
He's the best!
Dr Delson has a good honest handshake and great way of communicating, immediately putting me at ease.
He was really nice, and fun, but he his diagnosis was incorrect.
He was a very kind, friendly and seemed to be an expert in his field.
The office was a little chaotic. Otherwise, it was great. Dr. Delson is amazing!
Great. Small, cozy office where the staff seemed to know all of the returning patients by name. Dr. Delson was very personable and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly.
Felt fairly standard. Nothing too negative or very special to report.
Great guy, real funny, very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!
Dr. Delson is always a pleasure to see. He is extremely informative and helpful with whatever issues I should have. Thanks!
Very knowledgable, and professional. Wait time was minimal at the office, which was nice.
I had a great time talking to Dr. Delson. He never rushes his patients. He takes the time to explain to you his diagnosis. I highly recommend him.
He's really funny and explains things clearly. Certified in some interesting things like alternative medicine and acupuncture. Also quite a snappy dresser. Seriously, he's one stylin' dude.
I have never had an experience like I did with Dr. Delson. I had torn a tendon about 6 months before seeing him. I love my old doctor, but due to an insurance change, my recurring pain forced me to seek out a new doctor. I described my pain to him, recapped what my previous doctor told me and the PT I'd done. He then launched into a speech about he never sees these sorts of injuries in "petite Asian runners" and that because I was "larger in the thigh-area" perhaps I should consider loosing weight. Mind you, I am 5'5" and 130lbs. I told him this and that I have very strong legs from 10 years of distance running and cycling, and he said "prove it!" He then proceeded to have me do several squat-style movements, all of which I executed with no trouble. "Hmm, so you are pretty strong, guess that's not the problem!" was his response, complete with condescending laugh. Keep in mind we are now 30 minutes into the appointment and he has yes to examine my ankle, look at my dr's files/most recent MRI results, etc. He then asked me what other activities I do - I said yoga and basic bootcamp classes/weights at the gym. He told me that yoga is "no good for Westerners" and that I should stop doing it immediately, and then told me all about the time he'd spent in India studying yoga. Huh? At this point I just wanted out, so I thanked him for his time and asked if he had any recommendations for further treatment/PT options. He offered to make me custom inserts for my running shoes that would run me about $500 each. I told him I'd follow up next week and hightailed it out. I was sorely disappointed, especially because he came so highly recommended by ZocDoc patients. I don't know if I caught him on a bad day or what, but I was so angry when I left! Glad everyone else had good experiences with him, but I certainly won't be following up or recommending him to anyone else.
Very professional, honest, and caring
Great doctor. Very professional.
I just started seeing Dr Delson. It's been a while I've met a doctor like him. he is the opposite of those medical factories you often find. He really listens to you, doesn't make assumptions about you and give you the information that will help you think about the options you have. Found my doctor!
Really personable, easy to talk to,quick but not rushed, helped with exactly what I needed.
He is a non-nonsense person which is very refreshing. I have only seen him twice but left the office reassured that he will try and help me and that there is help. Contrary to other doctors who even told me they didn't know how to help me. He looks at me - a person, not just a patient, and tries to take everything into consideration, take a whole body and mind into account while making his diognosis.
I've been seeing him for over 15 years and I never had any bad experience with my visit.
Dr. Delson was fantastic. Really understanding and willing to listen and not jump to conclusions immediately. Highly recommended.
he was great
My ZocDoc appointment wasn't confirmed, but I stopped by Dr. Delson's office anyway. He wasn't in, and I called and left a voicemail. He called me back within the hour and explained that his dog was severly ill and he left the office in a rush and had to put his dog down. He told me to come in anyway, and the visit was great. He was very attentive, despite the traumatic events he had just experienced. I would not hesitate to visit him again.
Excellent. Right on time, and found out what I needed to know. Thanks again Dr. Delson!
Dr. Delson is a compassionate and engaging physician who spends the time to get to know his patient, not only from a health standpoint, but from a personal one as well. It is a welcome experience to actually feel listened to (and understood!) by my doctor.
Smart, sharp, engaged, cultured, and accurate! Good sense of peace in the office...
This doctor spent most of his time talking to me about himself. He also limited the quantity of my prescription explaining that no one would come in and see him if he gave them substantial prescriptions. He said that this was standard practice in the industry, but other experiences have proven to me that this is not entirely true, and he was mostly concerned about receiving copays. Well, he won't be getting any more of my money.
He was good and thorough
very nice guy. felt comfortable.
What more can I say? Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!
friendly, helpful, knowledgeable.
Wonderful. Straight to the point. In and out of the appointment in no time.
Wonderful Doctor. I had to start seeing Dr. Delson because my previous Dr moved away and I am so glad I found him.
I thought he was great, very modernm understanding and realisitic when asked his professional opinion. I also liked that he gives you several options to choose from and doesnt firce you into anything!
Great Doctor! Great bedside manner, personality and listener.
been a patient for years with Dr.Delson,he is always so easy to talk to and I never have felt rushed. he is a good listener, answers all my questions and concerns.( and always makes me laugh! ) Thank you Dr.Delson K.Shannon,WNY,N.J.
Easy to talk to; doesn't rush you out; knows his stuff; good on the you-need-to-exercise-more part without being hectoring
Dr Delson is first class.
Great guy who knows his stuff and spent plenty of time answering my questions and understanding the problem. I found my new doctor.
First he started off by commenting on how attractive the french woman that he attended to before me was. Professional? Second I told him my symptoms which were a headache, swollen throat, and runny nose. His response was "you'll be find in five to six weeks." Really? I am not looking for medicine but I don't really feel like being sick for 5-6 weeks. He then goes on to say that because this is New York City he has to prescribe me something so here is some codeine because otherwise he said that I would tell other people that he didn't do anything for me. So he gave me a prescription some codeine and some cold medicine. I didn't even get the codeine filled because it seemed like I shouldn't have been prescribed that in the first place. I will never go back to this guy again. I would never recommend him to anyone that actually wanted someone to help them feel better. He is appalling.
Dr. Delson is down to earth and easy to talk to, which I find important in someone you are divulging intimate details about your life. I'm a professional performing artist and he's the perfect Dr. for me specializing in Sports Medicine and the internal workings of the body.
I thought Dr. Delson was wonderful. Great guy and great doctor. I will be returning.
I had a great first visit with Dr Delson. He was very knowledgable and accessible, and I will recommend him to my family and friends.
Very personable, very knowledgable.
Could have had somewhat warmer bedside manner, and seemed a little impatient, but was intelligent, knowledgeable, competent and most importantly, accessible. Just a bit cold and abrupt in his bedside manner and how he talked to me as a new patient.
very good, friendly, intelligent
Dr. Delson spent nearly 40 minutes with me, giving me results of my bloodwork, giving me an EKG, and showing me how to enter the results online to keep my online health profile at dysmd.com--really great!
I've been going to Dr. Delson for more than a decade and I appreciate that he is not quick to prescribe medications. He is very astute and a wonderful acupuncturist. I had damaged my knee from doing yoga and he completely healed the knee with only three or four acupuncture sessions.
I thought Dr Delson was very helpful. He is someone I would definitely see again.
Delson is by far the best doctor I've seen in NYC. He is accessible, personable, knowledgeable and spends time to treat you as a whole person, not just a symptom or illness. Easy to get an appointment and I always feel my questions were answered.
Best Doctor I've ever been to!
Dr. Delson takes the time necessary to hear your concerns and to address them. Office visits never feel hurried or cut short.
Very good at diagnosing and very good personable manner, highly recommended.
