Was not overly impressed. Office was dirty, out dated and not run well. Doctor was not overly friendly. The purpose of the visit was to look at warts. He said he didn’t do that and referred me to another doctor....now I have to wait for another appointment
The doctor is pleasant knowledgeable and professional. I had a good visit. However the follow up was a computer program which did not work and absolutely no call or follow up from the doctor regarding tests which sucked since I was sick
Dr. Dugas saw me promptly at my appointment time and spent over an hour helping me. He was friendly and did not rush through the appointment. Very good experience.
Very thorough. Really liked the resident doctor I worked with. Office staff is super nice and easy to work with.
The waiting time is EXTREMELY long... if you have enough time sitting in the room with the front desk for more than half an hour and another 20 mins for the doctor to come in, go ahead book it!
Great experience! Kind of a long wait time but understandable.
I was not impressed at all and most likely will not be back. He did everything I would have done...looked the stuff up online. As a medical professional, I came in knowing what I needed. I saw him the usual 15-20mins new pt slot and all he did was print the CDC recommendations and had it to me..o and listened to my heart and lungs to make sure I had an exam. Not only did he not give me the prescription I originally came in for, I had to call back the next to try to get him to write it. Eventually, he wrote and hit me with a large bill and I have insurance. NOT IMPRESSED.
Very friendly office. Dr. Dugas was great.
Dr. Dugas is very knowledgeable and very thorough. His bedside manner is impeccable.
the check in procedure was a bit weird.... like i was locked out of the building and when they came and got me they made me feel like it was my fault that i was late? it was kind of a weird beginning. The Dr. himself was okay too.
Dr. Dugas got me in same day, was able to solve my issue, and part of the intake included a height/weight measurement on a body composition scale which I thought was great! I will be back.
He was polite, professional and informative.
I was very displeased with my visit from the moment I walked in the door until I left 2 hours later. Yes, 2 hours just for a simple office visit for a prescription refill. When I arrived, the front desk staff was not welcoming or friendly. They asked me to fill out all the paperwork which I had already filled out online. I told her this, and she said she didn't have it and would go check for it. She never came back and told me whether she found it. Once I got called to the exam room, it was probably 30 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. As I said, I was only going for a prescription refill, but they said it is their standard protocol to do blood work at their initial appointments. I recently had blood work done elsewhere and asked whether they could retrieve those results. They went to check on it, and about 45 minutes later, Dr. Dugas walked by my exam room and said, "Oh I didn't know you were still here." Terribly unprofessional, and a complete waste of time, but he did agree to fill my prescription if I gave him a call when I needed it next. I called the office when I needed my prescription refilled, and was told they don't do prescription requests over the phone even though that is what Dr. Dugas had advised me to do. So they put me through to Dr. Dugas, he said he would call it in, and I still had to follow up the next day because it had not been called in yet. Again, unprofessional, and I would not recommend anyone to go here.
Very kind staff with generous spirits and excellent level of professionalism.
Friendly staff and Dr, will certainly keep him as my primary care.
Worth the wait. Great bedside manner and detailed.
Great, though getting into the building was troublesome.
I didn't get a straight answer on what I came in for. I left feeling unsatisfied and that he tried to convince me that other things were issues.
Needs better support staff, and be more transparent about schedules with patients, esp the new ones
The office is a bit difficult to find, but that was my only complaint. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Dugas was very thorough and professional. Will definitely go back!
There was no wait, Dr. Dugas was extremely personable, had a sense of humor and professionally addressed my concerns. I needed my bloodwork done and the gentlemen who did that is gifted - I didn't even know he had put the needle in and was 1/2 way done before I looked to see if he was going to start! They were proactive about getting me scheduled in for follow-up and I feel very confident that I am in good hands.
I had no wait. Dr. Dugas was easy to talk to and helped me address my concerns.
Doctor was great and the guy who took my blood was fantastic as well
I think it was a great experience
Sub-standard patient care and follow-up practices
My appt was right in the morning, so there was no waiting. The doctor was pretty thorough and provided good explanation to my questions. His staff was also very nice and helpful!
Took forever to receive lab results for some reason.
My visit with Dr. Dugas and his staff was excellent. I appreciated being able to get in at the last minute for an early morning (7:45am) appointment. Dr. Dugas listened to my concerns, answered my questions and provided a thorough explanation of follow up. I did not feel rushed. I felt very well taken care of!
The absolute worst medical doctor I have been to. Went in needing just a basic antibiotic shot in the arm and then I find myself with an IV in my arm surrounded by a pool of blood. Passed out for a bit, they weren't concerned. It honestly felt like a medical students first time at finding s vein - I now am going to have a huge scar in my right arm looking like a junkie because this doctor doesn't 1) carry basic and common medications at his office and 2) can't insert an IV. I am surprised he is in business. The absolute worst - I nearly walked straight to the ER after that visit since i couldn't feel my arm and was so lightheaded. All I needed was a shot in my arm. Walgreens minute clinic would have been a better option.
My appointment went very well. Everyone in the office was super accommodating and a pleasure to be around. I would recommend this doctor's office to anyone.
Long wait time.
Do not go to this doctor. Very unprofessional. Office was a mess. No service. Waited 2 hours. No apology.
Great conversationalist and made me feel very much at ease. Straightforward and timely as well. Highly recommended!
Overall this was a great experience. Dr. Dugas made me feel comfortable. Although the office isn't as modern as it could be the service, expertise, and bedside manner will make me come back from my health needs. Two thumbs Up!
Though I waited a bit, I really enjoyed the atmosphere they set, in this case smooth jazz, and with friendly service of the staff, I'm very glad I was able to discover Dr. Dugas' office.
Pretty good but then completely neglected 2 concerns.
Dr. Dugas and his staff are very friendly and attentive. I had a great experience there today as a first time patient.
Very nice staff and doctor
Excellent, very comfortable. Entirely professional and relaxed environment. Very friendly staff. Entirely pleased and will definitely go back.
I waited over 2 hours after my appointment time to meet with Dr. Dugas. There was no receptionist when I walked in and there was only 1 other patient before me. He did not apologize for the long wait and saw me for all of 15 minutes. I also waited another 20 minutes for the nurse to do my blood work and set up a follow up appointment where I will most likely have to suck another half of my day away. This doctor has no respect for his patient's time, I had scheduled this appointment early in the day for the sole purpose of not missing work and I ended up being 2.5 hours late. Once I get the test results, I am never seeing this doctor again!
He's a great doctor. Listens, comfortable to chat with, seems to care. I definitely recommend.
he didn't remember me after seeing him for 4 or 5 months. He introduced himself like we'd never met. Not a confidence builder.
The doc was great & everyone who worked there were very friendly and nice. They did blood work (didn't even feel the needle) right there which is a huge plus!
I was seen right away. The office is a little old fashioned, and you have to walk down the hall to use the public bathroom to give a urine sample, but Dr. Dugas and the nurse were both really nice. Dr. Dugas took time to discuss all my health concerns. Also, the nurse is really good at drawing blood. I have a fear of needles, and sometimes have had people dig around to get a vein. Not here- it was painless. If you are more concerned with a quick, convenient visit than a fancy waiting room, I would recommend this provider.
Went in for my annual free Affordable Care Act physical. Filled out my info ahead of time on ZocDoc. After a bit of a wait, began the process. Weighed, blood drawn, urine sample, questions answered. At which point was told that my blue cross coverage was one that fell outside of network and that I'd be responsible for my deductible. I asked why that hadn't been made clear before I went through the previous steps and was told it took too long for them to get in touch with BC/BS. Since it was supposed to be my free annual physical, I left.
Dr. Dugas was very friendly and personable.
He was rude and was trying to make me take bunch of tests unrelated to the reason I came in
He was almost 45 minutes late. When I arrived there was no receptionist at the front desk and I had to wait about 10 min. before I even saw anyone working there. When I did get to see the doc, he hardy made eye contact with me. Instead, he sat behind a computer the entire time, typing in answers to questions he was asking me. I made an appointment for some knee and hip pain that I was having and he "diagnosed" me without even looking at my knee or hip. Also, he had his phone on the counter and responded actively to texts or emails while I was in the room - 2 different times he acted a though I was not in the room and started typing on his phone. One time, he got up and left the room in the middle of my exam with no explanation. As a first time patient, he said they needed to take blood - but I asked if that was absolutely necessary since I was there for knee/hip pain and was already an hour behind schedule. He rolled his eyes and got up and left the room with no explanation, again. Apparently, with that, my appointment was over. I waited at the front desk for 5 min, waiting for more direction or to see if I needed to check our or anything - and eventually walked in the back and asked someone. They acted like I was completely silly for asking. I will not be back and will not be recommending this office to anyone.
Very thourogh, highly reccomend
I've never had a doctor dedicate time to address and discuss my health concerns in as much detail. The ultimate professional. This is what patient care "should" be.
I really like Dr. Dugas! He takes time to speak with you thoroughly about the reason for your visit and gives options to resolve it. I know when I go into his office, I'll leave feeling pleased with the care I received.
Very friendly. Didn't wait more than a couple minutes.
Very considerate and thorough.
Very nice doctor and professional!
It was terrible. There was no receptionist. They didn't explain my co-pay. The doctor didn't listen to my issues. He also basically told me that their portal doesn't work and is too slow and he will never fix it so "deal with it." They took blood even though I told them I just had it done and would sent results. It was the biggest waste of my time and money and it ruined my day.
Although he was serious about business, Dr. Dugas had a welcoming persona and provided insight pertinent to my needs.
The Doctor himself was very welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. However the environment was a bit underwhelming: dimly lit, worn furniture, dusty. Overall a positive experience but some minor uncomfortableness in the beginning.
It was a great visit, as always.
Doctor Dugas was great. He really took the time to talk to me and figure out my issues before recommending any treatment. I'm glad I've finally found a good doctor. Highly recommend.
This was the strangest doctors visit I have ever had. The wait was nearly an hour, despite the fact that no other patients were there. Then, rather than provide a comprehensive annual check-up, Dr. Dugas launched into a terribly long speech about the evils of insurance companies and how he can do little for me, other than listen to my heart and check my reflexes. And I mean, this speech was LONG. I left 2 hours later feeling frustrated and no wiser as to my health.
Dr Dugas was very nice and was patient with me in regards to my concerns and questions
I think the world of this doctor - he has been the only person in a series of several people I've seen who listened to me and took the time to walk through every detail. My only hesitation to going back would be there was no receptionist and that person plays a key role in appointments, i.e. phones, checking in/out, making copies, misc.
Good first visit. I was seen under 30 minutes despite showing up 40 minutes prior to appt
No follow up = fail.
it was a fine experience...... Dr. Dugas took his time to answer my questions and explain his views on my situation....... very nice, well organized office....
I met with him. I really liked him in person, but......He ordered a chest x-ray and said that he would call. No call.. I paged him 5 times and no response. Ended up in the hospital with a breathing treatment and meds. Still has not called and has been 3 days.
