Patient reviews for Dr. Jessica Lee
Dr. Lee is one of the best ophthalmologist.
Dr. Jessica Lee is the greatest, professional doctor I know. Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable, and she takes the time to explain, in detail in a way that I can understand what’s wrong and the solution to the problem. Dr. Lee is the type of doctor that you can ask as many questions you want, and she will take the time to answer each question. Would I recommend Dr. Lee, I definitely would.
She was outstanding as was her "internist" soon to graduate Rachel Mindin. Extremely professional handled me very well. Patient experience was not good as soon as I entered building and continued not to be good until I was brought in more than one hour after scheduled appointment time. First point of contact administrative staff were not patient focused, matter of fact in a hurry and lacked a professionalism that Mt Sinai has up town. (Admin folks inside Dr Lee's area whom I saw at check out bald guy and African American woman were Very very professional-a marked difference from front desk staff.)
The over 1 hour wait time was due to the fact that I was a new patient and needed to fill out paperwork. Other than that the visit was thorough, efficient, and informative. All staff members were professional and helpful.
Dr. Lee and her assistant (Carmen, if I remember correctly) were very professional, pleasant, and informative, patiently answering all my questions with clear, detailed explanations. I left the office knowing more about my vision, particularly about how to preserve it. My ophthalmologist of twenty years recently retired; I am fortunate to have chosen Dr. Lee to replace him.
Thorough, helpful and great doctor.
Excellent diagnostician and great colleague specialist referrals.
Dr Lee takes time to explain what's wrong with my issues.
Although Dr. Lee herself was very lovely and attentive. Prior to her part of the visit- I spent the first half hour receiving vision tests and then I had my eyes dilated and was left in the waiting room for an hour, only to have no further tests run afterwards. This was particularly aggravating because I came in for inflammation (ultimately due to an eyelash scraping my eye) that did not affect my vision and ultimately spent a hour and a half of my two hour visit establishing my normal/healthy vision that I have always had.
Very warm & friendly. Extremely thorough I felt that she really cared & I have a lot of confidence in her knowledge & sills
Excellent Doctor, thank you!
Excellent service, aside from the wait -- I had a 3:00 appointment, so that is to be expected. If you want to get in promptly, make sure you are onr of the first appointments of the day!
Dr. Lee and her staff were excellent! They were universally kind and informative, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed a new eye doctor.
Dr. Lee was nice and explained everything thoroughly.
Excellent! Dr. Lee is thorough and very imformative. She took the time to address all my concerns.
Assistants and staff were friendly and courteous. Exam was done thoroughly and accurately. Doctor was nice and spent a good amount of time doing the exam and explaining the results. The only thing was the wait time to be seen.
Would recommend in a heartbeat
Dr. Lee was fantastic. I was a first time patient who had an emergency room visit to the ER few days prior and was told I needed to see an opthamologist to follow up. She was concerned and caring about my treatment and my overall eye history. I have decided to see her for my routine exam in a few weeks. She is great.
Dr. Lee herself was fantastic. Explained everything to me and answered all my questions. However, I was brought back to the exam room at 2:15pm and not seen by her until 3:30pm. The most infuriating part was that at no time did anyone tell me she was running so late.
Very professional and friendly. She explained everything to me with ease.
Overall a positive experience. I find ophthalmology appointments to be quite long, this was along the lines of what was expected. They were quite thorough and good bedside manner.
