Qualifications and Experience
Dr. Rajan joined allergy and ENT associates in August 2014. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and board certified with the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, the American Academy of Allergy, the Asthma and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Rajan is a native Houstonian and is thrilled to return to her hometown after several years of training around the country. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology, she completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She trained in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and then completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California. Dr. Rajan has been recognized nationally for her research in pediatric patients with eosinophilic esophagitis and has also published research on aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Dr. Rajan values the development of a healthy physician-patient relationship and places an emphasis on educating patients about their allergic disease and its management. She enjoys spending her spare time cooking, trying out Houston’s best restaurants and traveling around the world with her young daughter and husband.
