Family Medicine, HIV & Hep C Diagnosis & Treament, Diabetes, LGBT Healthcare, STI, HIV PReP. Lab work performed at the time of service. PLEASE ALLOW up to 2 HOURS for your appointment. During this time laboratory work, history, vital signs, & baseline procedures such as EKG, Pulmonary Function, and/or Bone Density assessments are done prior to physician consultation so that Dr. Ang will have the results available to discuss with you. This does lead to longer visit time (up to 2 hours) but eliminates second visits to review. Comprehensive care is the prevention and management of disease based on your current & past health, family history, & life events. Establishing a baseline assessment of your health today is central to ongoing care. Data driven medicine allows for early identification of disease and also identifies trends requiring your attention. As each patient is unique, this creates a dialogue between patient and physician and what I value in this is the potential for a long term relationship with me and our office. PLEASE NOTE: DR ANG IS NOT ACCEPTING BLUE CHOICE/BLUE CHOICE ADVANTAGE OR UNITED HEALTHCARE INSURANCES. Women's PAP exams are NOT performed on the first visit. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES FOR WEIGHT MANAGEMENT, PAIN, OR ADD/ADHD are not prescribed. Patients are referred to the appropriate specialist for these types of services.

Aggressive, nonchalant and loud in describing sensitive medical results then responds with sarcasm when his tone was pointed out. I would expect bedside manners to be sensitive to one’s condition and be respectful in speaking to a patient. Can’t return to this doctor as I was very offended.

The advance work to facilitate the intake was excellent between their on line forms and ZocDoc. There was advance notice that the visit would be long - not a quick in and out - and to prepare for that. There isadditional paperwork that has to be done at the time of visit and the staff responded to all questions. The blood draw, urinalysis, EKG, and bone density looks to be a lot but all the results were there by the time I consulted with Dr. Ang and the information was useful to establishing a treatment plan. The patient portal provides relevant information quickly. He is personable, a great listener, and responsive to questions. I am glad I happened upon his practice.

I've been looking for a PCP to establish long term care with and finally found him. Dr. Ang and his team were efficient and I loved that it only took one visit to get all tests and discuss the results. Acouple of my results came back abnormal and Dr. Ang walked me through each test (abnormal and normal), told me what to change to improve certain scores and what activities to maintain. Overall, excellent experience and I would recommend.

Amazing experience - different "stations" to rotate through to get all of your medical history in - bloodwork, urine samples, physical questionnaire, even an EKG and bone density screen! Spoke with the good doctor for a good 30 minutes; veryattentive, did not feel rushed, and was super amicable and friendly. I will be back, and can't wait to go!

This was a positive experience from the time I called to the time I arrived. Each member of the staff was welcoming, friendly and competent. Blood work was seamless! Didn't even feel it! Extremely thorough exam for a new patient! Theydid full blood work panel, urine sample, EKG, bone density exam and had me answer a series of wellness questions. My short but good visit with the Doctor was very good.

Came in for my annual physical. I travel a lot for work, so I sometimes go far too long without seeing a proper doctor. When I arrived, I was taken through a well-organized battery of tests (urine, blood, EKG, etc). Therewas pretty much no waiting in between. Once I finished, I think I waited for five minutes for Dr. Ang to see me. He was great, direct and friendly. Perfect bedside manner, understanding of my own unique circumstances. He also really knows what he's talking about. I'll be coming to him for my next physical without a doubt.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Ang and I could not have been more impressed with both him and his staff. Specifically, the way in which they explained every part of the process to me, what was going on, why,and what I should expect to see. Dr. Ang made me feel welcome and comfortable, which is not an easy thing to do on a person’s first visit to a new physician. Ok, people, this practice is going to charge you a lot if you are not careful in a very sneaky and not ethical way. It was my first visit and I just wanted to have my annual "wellness check up" andstated it clear verbally and on the paper asking my purpose to visit. I thought it was odd that they did a lot of tests and I didn't worry since I mentioned very clearly I am here to have my ANNUAL CHECKUP. I had a busy month so I just paid the bill already with my other doctors' visits altogether but it was odd that I was charged that much so I decided to look at the details they charged me for. When I checked my statement, I was shocked. They charged me for various tests and I was not informed that it is not a part of the annual check up. They even charged me about "mental consultation", are you kidding me???? I remember there were couple of check boxes asking me such as "Have you felt isolated" and stuff and it was one of the bunch of papers they asked me to answer. I called my insurance company and they said an annual checkup is free under my insurance plan and the practice seemed totally ripped me off and they will back up a further investigation if I want to. I was so furious but you know, it is another stress and paperwork I have to go through... I just decided to let it go and never go back to his office again but at least I would like to warn somebody interested in visiting his office... BE AWARE and make sure that if their service still belongs to your visit purpose before they push you through a bunch of tests.

Dr. Ang and the entire staff were incredibly warm and ready to answer any questions I had. As the other comments mention, every appointment, regardless of reason for visit, is 2 hours. By the time you see Dr. Ang, he hasall your information and walks you through everything which was so helpful! The exams were very thorough, and it was nice to have time to chat about my concerns at every stage.

Even though the appointment was just under two hours, all my blood work was done in-house so there was no need for a follow up! The staff was pleasant and efficient. They fit a lot of equipment in a small space.There are lots of stairs so I do not recommend if you have issues with mobility. Dr. Ang was great - super efficient and friendly! Would definitely recommend.

The office is located in a dilapidated Dupont row home, not well kept or particularly clean. The receptionist was downright surly and curt. And although you are told to leave 2 hours for the appointment, I felt rushed from room toroom for various aspects of the checkup, up and down stairs.

I have never been more impressed with a doctor, his/her staff and overall experience than with Dr. Ang's office. I was blown away with the efficiency and comprehensiveness of my annual/new patient physical. The entire team is a well-oiled machine,and they even have an in-house technician to perform the blood work analysis, so gone are the days of having to schedule a follow up visit just to go over the blood tests/work. Everyone at the clinic is very welcoming and nice — I felt at ease immediately. After requesting the appointment on Zocdoc, I had the chance to fill out paperwork online, which I appreciated.
