Joel Musicant is a diligent and detail-oriented gastroenterologist treating his patients in Lakewood, NJ. Dr. Musicant is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently, and he is affiliated with the Community Medical Center in Toms River and the Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood.
Dr. Musicant attended the Drexel University to earn his medical degree. He completed both his internal medicine internship and residency at the Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center, before Dr. Musicant completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Tufts University. He was Board Certified in 1997. From 1989 to 1992, Dr. Musicant held an academic appointment as a clinical instructor of medicine at the Tufts University’s School of Medicine. He invites patients experiencing gastroenterological ailments to visit his private practice that he established in 1994. Dr. Musicant sees patients experiencing eating disorders, obesity, hemorrhoids, food intolerances and allergies, pancreas problems, Crohn’s disease, and colon cancer.
Dr. Musciant’s home life is full of quality time; he enjoys spending time with his two boys and his daughter as well as his wife.
