Patient reviews for Dr. John Crates
He is great. I have been a patient for about 15 yrs. he is the best.
I waited almost an hour to see the physician and he spent less than a minute with me. He seemed so rushed that I didn’t even have an opportunity to ask him questions.
He really took time to explain my condition and I felt like he cared about me as a patient.
Excellent! I'm so glad my case worker recommended him.
Fast check in and out
Dr. Crates and his staff were awesome! They were recommended to us by our daughter's friend. We appreciated how quickly they got us in. He was kind a thorough while evaluating our daughter's ankle/foot that was injured when she was tumbling. We would definitely recommend him to others and if ever needed, take any of our family members to see him. Thank you!
Dr. Crates performed an evaluation regarding my ankle fracture and gave me instructions on how to care for it. He and his office staff were friendly and very efficient with time and I was in and out within an hour today for my appointment. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a foot or ankle problem.
Dr. Crates was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions in easy to understand language.
My appointment with Dr. Crates was by far the most efficient doctor's appointment I have experienced. As a new patient I will in and out in no time. All of the staff was personable and professional.
He is very professional and attentive
Answered all my questions and took his time
We are long-time patients of Dr. Crates. He & his staff are great - thorough, knowledgeable & always pleasant. Highly recommend!
Awesome doctor! Very personable and was very informative. Each of his staff members were awesome to work with as well!
Very busy practice, but the doctor listened and knew right away where to press and push to help determine what was wrong with me and took X-rays to confirm what two visits to the doc-in-the-box couldn't. I could have saved myself a month of aggravation and pain by coming here first! Thank you Dr. Crates and your wonderful staff for seeing my so quickly and making me feel at ease right away.
Assembly line style. Fast and quick but generally not satisfying.
I saw him for a rolled ankle. Most of my time was spent with others who checked me in (a rather long wait) and took x-rays. I saw him for about 10 minutes as it was a straightforward injury, but during that time, he was professional and likeable. I would definitely see him again. The front office staff was disorganized, however.
I was impressed with how "on time" everything was. Dr. Crates was very professional, asked pertinent questions and had diagnosis in no time.
The wait was not long but it had to be long enough to complete the new patient paperwork! After that they took me right on back and the doc was there pronto. I appreciate the attention and the action plan for my treatment. Thanks much to Dr. Crates and his great staff.
He and his staff are thorough and answer all my questions. His skills are very good and I was happy with my surgery!
I think that Dr. Crates is a very capable doctor, but he was obviously in a rush and had one foot out the door as soon as he came in. I had some questions and he had darted out before I had a chance to ask him anything. I had to call the PA back into the room to have my questions answered. I am not sure she answered them the way he would have.
Dr. Crates has been a lifesaver for my daughter! He not only diagnosed an unusual problem immediately, he did such an amazing job that within days, my daughters ankle was feeling better than it had in years! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Dr. Crates!!!
Great doctor! Advise I can count on.
Extremely happy. Excellent service and care. Everyone very knowledgeable and professional but caring. Actually an enjoyable appointment. Was surprised by how smoothly the process went.
i have the drs. in the world at posmc
I find that Dr. Crates and his staff are very professional. If you call the office, leaving a message, you always get a call back on the same day. If I have an appt., I never wait more than 15 minutes. Jackie, his assistant, is very sharp and helpful.
Both Dr. Crates and his PA Jackie are absolutely amazing. The care they take of my son is and was first rate. In addition, the practice is one of the best run I have ever dealt with. Our wait time was never more than a few minutes, and the reminders were fantastic. Thanks Dr. Crates and your team for taking care of my boy!
The PA Jackie is awesome! She is high energy & it seems like she cares about patients' progress. Dr. Crates is easy to relate to & I feel my treatment (bunion) will be successful in the long term. The ladies at the reception desks are polite & efficient. The practice is very busy & I appreciate how organized everyone seems to be.
I have had numerous visits since my injury and surgery, and each time service is excellent. I'm seen immediately, even if ten minutes early, communication is fantastic, and concern is genuine. In fact every staff member I have come into contact with has been professional, caring, efficient, and notably happy! I'd highly recommend Dr Crates and his phenomenal team.
WOW!!! I was seen on time, the staff was pleasant and efficient and Dr. Crates kind and thorough. Thank you. Paul Hull
Great! We arrived early hoping to be seen a little early so my daughter could get back to school. We got in 20 minutes before our appointment and was out 10 minutes after our original appt time. Dr Crates was very nice and got my daughter fixed up quickly.
Dr. Crates and his staff were very friendly. Dr. Crates answered all of my questions and explained how the surgery would work as well as recovery time in a way that made me feel at ease. He tells you what he recommends but is also willing to do something different if that's what you decide, as long as you are on the same page with your expectations. I was able to fill out the paperwork before my appointment and I was in and out of the office within 1 hour for my consultation.
Overall experience today was the best one to date versus all my other ZocDoc appointments. Today's appointment was literally like having Uber-medicine, just the way an on-demand economy should be. Made an appointment for 10am and was seen/x-rayed by 1015am. I think I was in/out of the office well within the hour. Everything moved literally like clockwork, staff was beyond professional and courteous, and the doctor had the right balance of being extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his diagnosis as well as comforting.
