Dr. Gillean is warm, candid and knowledgeable. He is genuinely a breath of fresh air in this industry.
Dr. Gillean is very well informed regarding new and experimental treatments for treatment-resistant depression. While we spoke he was able to give me immediate answers to some unusual questions because he looked up information using his phone and laptop.
He doesnt do ANY therapy. The intake people FAILED to mention that. So to expect my frustration? YES, to get dissapointed YET AGAIN!
Very friendly and easy to work with. For someone with depression, that's a pretty important thing.
Wonderful first visit. Very patient and kind listener. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
Lovely office staff, great doctor. Dr. Gillean is a really attentive listener--I've never felt rushed and have always felt heard and thoughtfully cared for. Dr. Gillean is assiduous about setting follow-up appointments and is responsive to questions and concerns about medications!
Dr. Gillian was fine and helpful. I booked this appointment for a friend and had to speak with the office staff a few times, two of whom were helpful and very respectful. One receptionist, named Helen, however, was fairly disrespectful and rude to my friend and I the multiple times we spoke with her. She also refused to use my friend's correct (legal) name and pronouns even after we'd corrected her. (My friend is transgender.) I got the sense that she was being rude to us because she saw my friend's gender identity as illegitimate. My friend will continue to go to Dr. Gilleans office but I would not recommend it to anyone else because of the way we were treated, especially not to queer or trans prospective patients.
Professional and easy to talk to. I would recommend this him to anyone.
Dr. Gillean was great. He was very easy to talk to and made me feel completely at ease with the treatment he was recommending.
Dr Gillean is an impressive person. He sticks the balance of professional and warm; within the first 30 minutes, I trusted him completely. Can't wait to go back.
