Dr Stirton is a very good doctor and he tells it like it is. Kind and considerate.
Dr Stirton had an emergency surgery, which accounted for the wait. I was informed of the delay as I walked in the door, and was updated on the wait time regularly. Dr Stirton was apologetic, and saw me without rushing me out the door to catch up. If I were the patient needing the emergency surgery, I would be thankful to the patients waiting extra time to be seen, and the staff for staying longer, and handling the situation with grace.
Everyone in the office was courteous and caring. PA Brett was nice and very thorough. Dr. Stirton was very nice and informative. He answered every question I had and even some that I didn't know I needed to ask. Will have a hip replacement in March and I am very at ease with my decision to see Dr. Stirton.
appointment was for 10:45, not seen until well after 11. Dr. did apologize for wait, though. I needed an x-ray. They should have scheduled that as part of the appointment. Because they decided I needed one after I got there, it took up part of my time and the Dr. probably saw the next patient. The information given when I made the appointment should have been sufficient and warranted scheduling an x-ray as part of the visit.
Fairly thorough; I wish I'd asked a couple more questions but didn't think of them at the time. Dr. and all staff very friendly and professional.
Dr.Stirton is a young, energetic professional. His surgery technics are up to date and less intrusive for hip replacement than the old method. He takes time to listen and gives sound advice. I will go back to see him if I need any other orthopedic consultation. Dr. Stirton replaced my wife's hip and she walked into his office unassisted for her two week check up after surgery. Paul W.
Very very good... Wish I had gone there first. JH
He is very professional yet very caring. He takes what time you need to have all questions answered. Normally I wouldn't have to wait but he was in surgery Thant took longer. He passed on lunch to make up the time. What I liked was that he apologized for being late! I liked that.
My diagnosis was presented professionally and clearly. Everyone was so helpful and understanding of the situation I presented. Not only will I recommend Dr. Stirton, but if I require a orthopedist again, I will not hesitate seeing him and his staff again.
Dr. Stirton and his staff were very courteous and and professional. They were knowledgeable about both my treatment and recovery plan answering all questions I had at the time of my visit. I would highly recommend him for other patients who need an orthopedic consult/surgery.
