About Dr. Johnny Arnouk
Dr. Arnouk is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship-trained in sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from Georgetown University (cum laude) and received his medical degree at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was named to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Downstate as well. After his residency, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While there, he served as a team physician for several professional and collegiate sport teams including the Houston Texans (NFL), Astros (MLB), Rockets (NBA), Dynamo (MLS) and the University of Houston football and basketball teams. To further specialize his training, Dr. Arnouk completed a second fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in shoulder and elbow surgery. He continued his care for athletes, serving as a physician at the New York City Marathon.

Unbelievably rude and bizarre staff... I felt like I was in an episode of Broad City
Dr. Arnouk was pleasant and efficient with his diagnosis and recommendation. Overall a great experience.
Anrouk is a careful surgeon who wants to exhaust all non-surgical possibilities rather than rush you under the knife like some other orthos out there.
All visits with Dr. Arnouk have been great.
Dr Arnouk seemed like he meant well; it was difficult to tell because he didn't offer information beyond my x-ray results. All additional information - possible injuries, potential timeline for recovery, and interim measures - I had to solicited with pointed and detailed questions. He refused to tell me if certain sprains should heal within one to six months, even when I explained that I understood anything he said might not be applicable to my specific case. He seemed annoyed at my lack of medical knowledge and dismissive of my concerns. When I asked about the potential effects of a prior injury, he informed me that I wasn't visiting for that and so we would not discuss it - even after he suggested that an old injury might be aggravating my current one. The office staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure that I was ok, but without a doctor to provide a medical assessment and advice, there is no reason to visit.
Solid professional that seemed to understand the nature of my injury as I was explaining it. He took me though my x-ray and wants to know more about my knee. So, they plan is to meet again after an MRI. I've had an on going issue with my knee for about 15 years so it'll be nice to have someone take a seriously look.
The wait was longer than I expected, but everything else about the visit was great.
Dr. Arnouk is the best. His staff are also amazing. They took me in early just because they didn't want me to have to wait. And they took incredible care of me. I legitimately had a fun time at my doctor's appointment!
Dr Arnouk is wonderful. He explains your condition in a way that you can understand and he is sensitive to your pain. His staff is top notch and I would recommend him completely. Dr Arnouk gives you the best advice and care for your condition and is a great Doctor

Awesome. I've gone to Dr. Arnouk several times now. First off, I never wait longer than 10 minutes. The front desk has always been friendly tomorrow. Secondly, Dr. Arnouk is just a very personable Dr. He doesn't sugar coat things and when you ask him a question, he'll just give you a direct answer.
Dr. Arnouk has amazing bedside manner and truly eased my mind in a stressful situation.
I'm guessing it was a busy time period (between 12 and 2 pm), because I had to wait a little longer than usual (15 minutes or so), and the doctor seemed a bit rushed.

Excellent doctor, listened to all my concerns and addressed each one. Was also very impressed with the staff - in particular Laura the medical assistant. Upon arrival I was told doctor Arnouk needed my x rays from a previous visit to another doctor a month ago. When I called the x ray place they wanted to make me wait several days to pick them up but Laura was able to track them down and get the x rays right away. Really appreciate when people go out of their way for you like that. Got my treatment the same day instead of having to postpone it. Definitely going back here for future injuries.

I arrived early for my appointment but after filling in some paperwork he saw me immediately (25 minutes early). He had remembered seeing me a few years back and was happy to see that the knee he repaired then was still in great shape. He took his time to examine my newly injured knee and ensured me that he'd get me back up and running (well cycling to be more accurate) in a couple of months! Great guy, great office and a delight to visit as a patient.
He was prompt, courteous, and responsive.
A follow-up visit.Happy with Dr. Arnouk's initial diagnosis and recommended treatment. Happy with the results and ongoing treatment plan. I found Dr. Arnouk intelligent, direct, and professional. Not a warm and fuzzy guy, but that's not what I went to see him for. I am well satisfied with the polite, capable, and helpful interaction I had with him in both visits. I expect it will be the same going forward.
i'm extremely disappointed by the lack of follow up by the doctor. He promised to call with results later in the day that I was seen. He then completely disregarded his commitment to follow up (It's been a week and still no response). His office is just as unprofessional. They made mistakes with the pre-certification for an MRI that ultimately caused a 2-week delay in getting much needed diagnostics. They claimed they only file those pre-certs on Thursdays. I am switching to Hospital for Special Surgery and would not recommend anyone work with this team and they were unresponsive even when I had calls into the facility manager and patient care representative.
2nd time meeting with Dr. Arnouk. Fast wait time, quick meeting and to the point. Listens to what I have to say, nice doctor. I would recommend him and will continue seeing him for my knees.

Dr Arnouk is great, love going to him- very straigth forward and helpful. The front desk staff is sub par though, I checked in and they actually didn't notify Dr Arnouk's staff, so if you do visit make sure they actually let their staff know so you can get seen.

I find Dr. Arnouk to be very pleasant and he explains everything to you. This is not my first visit with him, highly recommended.
My visit was not helpful. I was with Dr. Arnouk for ~5 minutes, he barely checked my pain issues, and just suggested I take a few pain medications. I also had three trouble areas but he would only address two (something that should be made clear before booking an appointment). Overall would not recommend – I received much better advice from a Physiotherapist.
He was quick yet not rushed, and he clearly articulated the treatment options.
Dr. Arnouk doesn't spend time to fully investigate an issue, he just automatically assumes that you need physical therapy.
