Verified Patient Reviews
My visit was pleasant and I would recommend Dr. Heffez to everyone.
Great - He did an awesome job and recommended another doc I can see to take care of my personal issue.
They performed a test on me before telling me that it would not be covered by insurance. The doctor was good but the supervisor was not very professional.
It was a very pleasant and professionel account. Dr heffez explained the results of the tests in a calm and paedagogically manner and gave good advice for me to follow in the future.
Always a good experience.
Dr. Heffez is always on time, very thorough, courteous and makes me feel like I am not just a patient, but a person too. All the staff are wonderful as well and I highly recommend using the practice.
1.5 hour wait was way too long. He only apologized after I complained.
Wished I had had Dr. Heffez a few years ago.
Exceptional service. Great staff
This practice does not fit or provide prescriptions for contact lenses, a fact not listed on ZocDoc and not mentioned until I already took a half day off work and waited 45 minutes for my appointment. Frustrating to say the least.
He is an excellent doctor who treats the patient with respect. One of my favorites I see.
He was extremely nice and seemed very knowledgeable. Extremely courteous and friendly. I would recommend him at any time.
the entire office/staff was very professional/efficient. I was very impressed with Dr. Heffez. He explained the problem and subsequent options in very clear and concise terms. He answered all of my questions and felt very secure not only in my choice of doctor but also in my decision to proceed with his recommendations. Thus far, I would highly recommend Dr. Heffez.
It was great customer service
I went to Dr. Heffez for another opinion. He really put me at ease and recommended monitoring my situation. He takes the time to explain what is going on in terms that you can understand. I would definitely recommend him.
Great doctor. To the point, friendly.
I was a little nervous about what was happening with my eye. Dr. Heffez has the kind of manner that puts you at ease right away.
Dr. Heffez and his staff were very informative and professional.
Much better than my first visit! Friendly receptionist (different from my first visit) and the technician (optician?) both patiently helped me work the coffee machine, which needed to be booted up and took a while to start up. My technician was so, so friendly, very different from the first one I had (who was also there; I ignored him haha). I only had to wait maybe seven minutes once I was in the doctor's examination room. Out in 35 minutes, including dilation wait time. Doctor gave me sound and pragmatic advice on my eye condition, and it looks like I'll be coming to this office once every six months for some time, so I hope the front office and support staff stay friendly! :)
This is a busy practice with several doctors. I was impressed with the way the staff handled moving people around and making sure that no one waited for too long without some kind of attention. Dr. Heffez is warm, genuine, and very obviously knows his profession. An excellent first visit and impression.
great, extremely knowledgeable and professional, and very nice.
Affable, clearly explained the issue and treatment path.
Great!Explained it well.
The wait was the longest I've had at any doctor's office in years (which was more irritating to me because the staff was very chatty and made me wonder if there were things they could do to expedite the appointments). Receptionist was not friendly and kept making me feel like I was wasting her time even though I was only filling out paperwork (first-time patient) and asking really normal questions (Could I have a pen? Are you done with my driver's license and insurance card?). She wasn't downright nasty, just uncaring and impatient. Then the technician kept cutting me off when asking about my medical history (I'm ok with someone correcting me or clarifying their questions, but not rudely). He also kept acting like I was wasting their time because I had no symptoms (came in at the recommendation of an opthalmologist because of lattice degeneration in both eyes). Again, nothing outright nasty, just very gruff. Dr. Heffez himself was professional--the appointment was quick, and he told me that it was the right call to come in (so there, technician!). Maybe my opinion is biased because I had such wonderful experiences on two appointments with a dentist also found through ZocDoc, but I would rate this place much higher if the staff was more professional and if appointments could proceed much more time-efficiently. In any case, Dr. Heffez wants me to come back in six months, and it's too much of a hassle to switch doctors (and he himself seems to know what he's doing), so I'll give this place another shot.
Very good. I went in for a routine eye exam, no specific ailments. One thing though is that Dr. Heffez doesn't do eye measurements for new contacts or glasses prescriptions. They're up front about this though, so it shouldn't be a surprise.
Thorough and completely professional
Great visit! Comfortable.
Dr. Heffez was attentive and thorough. He offered alternative treatments if the path he suggested did not completely solve the issue.
I'm very satisfied.
Dr. Heffez was very direct with my consultation/examination. He said what I didn't want to hear, but needed to hear. I liked him. They have a open door policy that I didn't care for, but when I asked him to close the door - he did.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Its amazing how well the visit goes when the doctor is friendly and has good interpersonal skills. I would recommend Dr. Heffez to everyone.
In addition to Dr. Heffez, the technician who conducted some initial tests and the gentleman who conducted my glaucoma testing were also very nice and informative.
very nice, greeted me w/ a nice hand shake. was very good at explaining my situation to me. his assistant (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) was excellent. very gentle when it came to putting the drops in my eyes.
