He was patient and he seemed to take the information I gave him seriously. He even changed the drug he initially wanted to give me based on my input that I did not want to gain weight. I would, and will, happily see him again.

Dr. Ikekwere graduated from the University of Ibadan medical school, Nigeria. He completed his general psychiatry residency training at East Tennessee State University Dr. Ikekwere then completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
Dr. Ikekwere was awarded the Yale REACH/SAMHSA/AAAP grant to complete an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago, working in the interest area of HIV Psychiatry and mood disorder. He’s a recipient of a number of awards, including the AAAP Early Career Addiction Psychiatry Research Award, ASAM’s Ruth Fox Scholarship Award, and the AACAP’s Educational Outreach Program (EOP) Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Endowment Fund Award.
Dr. Ikekwere is attentive, and compassionate and provides evidence-based care and advocates for his patient.

This provider made one long call with my son for the initial appointment, then never showed up for the next appointment-i had to call to get the link myself. No show. Then I contacted him via email and phone right after the missed service and have yet to get a response.

I had the best experience with Dr. Ikekwere. Aside from being very personable and kind, he had a fantastic bedside manner, was extremely thorough, and really listened to me.
