Verified Patient Reviews
One of the WORST doctors I have ever seen or known (I've been a registered nurse for 15 years). He looked good on paper and the reviews were so mixed I thought I'd take a shot. First off, the appointments were booked for before he was expected to arrive, however, with no regard for his patients, he arrived an hour late. No explanation was given to the full waiting room of patients other than he's running late so "in the meanwhile, would you like to have an allergy screen? It's free and our specialist is here. No? Well do you get dizzy?" (as an RN I know this is their attempt to convince the lay person that they have allergies and to go for the test). When I finally got in to see Dr. Pollack and explained why I was there (for his expertise as a specialist) it was almost like I saw an "Oh darn" expression on his face thinking "I have a real patient here needing real care". He performed no physical exam, you know, ear, nose and throat visualization for a problem my primary feels needed a closer look, even after telling him there was an abnormality noted by my PCP. His solution was....you guessed it...an allergy test! even after telling him I do not get dizzy. Lol. What a sham! He literally walked me out of the treatment room while I was still discussing my condition with him. awful awful awful. He is a disgrace to his profession,
This office was very crowded and I waited very long only to be rushed out in less than 5 minutes. There was no assessment completed.
The staff was very nice as well as the doctor. I felt very comfortable there and made another appointment for next week!
Operations need drastic improvment. I waited almost two hours to see the doctor. It kind of defeats the purpose of having an appointment. Should not be scheduling appointments piror to the doctor's arrival.
Does not listen to any complaints.. To worried about doing studies that only benefit his pockets..
Great Doctor and amazing Staff!
Very fast , no questions,
Very professional and seems to be a genuinely nice caring Dr.
Came in for sinus trouble and nothing got taken seriously. I feel also in a 15 min window I only saw the doctor for 3. Would not recommend this person to anyone.
I came to his office with a double whammy of sinusitis and bronchitis and all he did was insist on an allergy test. No examination... just a 3 minute audience with a guy who looked like he was rather hungover...his pedigree/profile was impressive enough to make an appointment, but between his office staff manicuring and polishing their nails at the window and Dr. Pollack's appearance and indifference, everyone was extremely unprofessional, I will NEVER set foot in that practice ever again...
I would not go back there. Doctor is very unprofessional, he was on the phone with personal call and asking me questions at the same time. He is only saw me for total of 5 minute and then told me to Tylenol and come back next week. For sure not coming back and please clean your office. This is ENT and Allergy office, must be clean, but it's all dusty. Do not recommend this office or this Doctor.
no problem everything was fine.
Other than the wait time, my experience was pretty good. The other thing I didn't like was them leaving the doors by the waiting area open. It was quite chilly there.
overall great experience. I guess a got lucky and the office was not very busy at all. I had to fill out some paper work which was annoying but I was a new patient. The doctor was nice and he used his scope to get a better look down my throat. He was very good and made me feel very comfortable. I will be coming back and highly recommended dr. pollack and health check
A complete waste of time, a horrible staff with a doctor who only took two minutes to see me and told me to take Tylenol. Horrible experience I would never walk back into that office.
The wait was much too long.....I don't understand why offices schedule patients every 15 minutes if they can't accomodate them. My wait was over an hour, but once i saw the doctor, he was very good and I was satisfied with my appointment
The room I was placed in was dirty and dark (same room, both times). My initial visit was for a persistent bout of sinusitis and allergies. Both my first visit and my follow up for the results of an allergy test were shockingly disappointing, and I wish that there had been a way to get the allergy results without paying a copay. He actually said to me, "did you know you have lots of allergies?" When I asked him to elaborate he said, "trees, weeds, dust, that kind of stuff," while leaning against a wall. Utterly worthless response and an overall extremely negative experience. Under no circumstance will I ever go back.
Very polite and professional doctor!
He did not offer much information without my asking repeatedly
Timely care, was professional and concise. I came in with a severe cold and he prescribed medicine I was able to collect and take that day. 24 hours later I'm feeling much better, and the whole thing took about 30 minutes.
I made the appt over a week before and the appt was confirmed, but then the night before they rescheduled it because he wasn't even going to be in until 5pm. I get there and they are swamped. More patients than chairs in their small waiting area. Some of them loud and rude, talking on their phones and definitely not respecting patient confidentiality. I waited over 45 minutes and then I met with Dr. Pollack. First of all, I came in for a minor issue with ear wax that my PCP advised that I see an ENT for. Obviously not a big deal. In and out in 5 minutes BUT in those 5 minutes, Dr. Pollack was impersonal, uninterested and didn't seem to care. Rather than reading my chart that I filled out for him, he asked me if he's seen me before (could've just looked at my file in his hand) and how old I was (again, it's in my file, he can look). Had he had a better bedside manner, I might've made him my primary ENT, but this is not the way to keep people coming back. Definitely won't return, not worth it.
It took long to wait for him then the whole visit. The main issue I went to him wasn't addressed, instead I was told to come back if it continues to be bothersome (why to collect another copay from me)?
He's a good doctor I would definitely go back
Addressed problem and didn't push unnecessary tests or treatments.
Asked good questions, checked what he was supposed to, took time to assess the situation and quickly offered a solution. Office was quite busy, but staff was still very professional and helpful.
The office was very clean. I was seen quickly and the visit was quick and to the point. I hate long drawn out doctor visits and this whole experience was about half an hour. Thank You.
Understood my problem with helpful suggestions on how to treat it.
he is very admiring. need more visits for full results.
he was a little late for the appointment but otherwise he a was fine
