Awesome, very knowledgeable. I'm a combat veteran and good to know he has worked with many others like me. He knew exactly what is messing with me and started me on a treatment. Office is set up weird but it is a satellite office so keep that in mind. Peace and God Bless.
Increased my follow up charge without warning (I was a self-pay patient, no insurance). Each appointment was 5 minutes, sometimes 2 minutes. Felt very impersonal. Admin is terrible. Can barely understand them and you must be on top of them to send your medication to the pharmacy.
I was unable to get a clear connection. Therefore, nothing was reciprocated.
Admin is very difficult to understand and my follow ups were never more than 5 minutes. 10 minutes if I were lucky. Always very brief and had always asked me what medication I was on. Felt very impersonal. ** Additionally, in a span of 5 months, Chisty's follow up visit prices went up literally 400% ***. I was an old patient with an increasing charge. I was NOT forewarned and I looked at everything I signed and submitted to admin stating nothing. Was told of the increasing charges AFTER my visits. I had terrible withdrawal symptoms until I was able to find a GOOD psychiatrist who wouldn't do this to their patients. Very dissatisfied.
Staff really takes care of their parents and they utilize technology well.
engaged with me and making progress therefore completely satisfactory visit
Very personable and really tried to focus in on my problems and wished we had more time to speak together before the next client. Wish he did therapy as well!
There was very little interaction about the situation I was dealing with. Mostly quoted statistics and seemed to be reluctant to diagnose or work with me with other treatment options for fear he would not be able to manage the medication properly and that I would abuse the medication. I felt as though he thought I was just looking for narcotics. He gave me a medication that will not have any affect other than possible nausea for 4 weeks just in time for a follow up visit which no one bothered to schedule. They didn't have any recommendations for psycologists that might be able to rule out or diagnose the problem. They also perform a test which they have little information to offer including the price of the procedure. Overall I left feeling depressed and like there is no hope to feel better without many more visits from other professionals.
Very knowledgeable and professional!
Very helpful. And very understanding
Felt rushed and he wasn't really listening to me. Also had a hard time listening to what he was saying, talked very fast
Ive been seen for the past 15 years for depression and Dr. Chisty is the most knowledgeable and caring Dr I have ever had. I never want to move again because I never want a different doctor.
Dr. Chisty was personable and professional. I look forward to the future meetings.
Dr Chisty is awesome!
Dr. Chisty took the time to get to know my son and teach him about his ADHD. It was wonderful.
Dr. Chisty is informative and knowledgeable about all aspects of my treatment without being condescending. A++++++
Very intelligent and caring.
I was very happy with my first visit. I felt there was an authentic interest in my well-being. Happy I found him.
My 14 year old daughter and I went to see him. The wait was a bit long, but I thought he had a number of useful and informative things to say to my daughter that helped both of us to understand her better. He also gave her some tools to help with various issues she's having. Being a long-time pro at therapy, I was impressed by his suggestions and believe they will help my daughter quite a bit. He even went so far as to show us videos to help explain things more clearly. I can't say anything about the pricing, as there was an issue that didn't permit me to make my payment right then. Dr. Chisty never used offensive language.
I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Chisty, he made me feel at ease during my first visit. Convenient location right off I-25, late-afternoon appointments - I'll keep coming back!
In fact, I held the doctor up by being a few minutes late but he had no problem with it. There was so wait, excellent advice, and a caring, thorough, and friendly doctor. I hold Dr, Christy in high esteem.
Dr. took 45 mins to see us, spent 5 minutes asking what medicines and dosage we were on (he didn't seem to know what he had told us on prevoius visits) asked us what we thought we should do about the medicine (isn't that what we're paying him to figure out?) After 5 minutes we were out the door with a prescription. To boot, the receptionist took more time than the entire dr visit just to figure out the copay!
i felt it was fair to good, felt rushed but thats typical for psychiatry. He listened and gave me some good education on depression/anxiety, just felt he made some wholesale changes to my meds pretty quickly before getting to know my history, etc
My regular doctor became terminally ill overnight and had to close her practice. I was without a doctor and spent a couple weeks on the phone trying to locate one that would take me ASAP. ZocDoc popped up on my screen and I gave it a try and that's how I found Dr. Chisty. He took me within a week and I'm extremely pleased. Thank you.
Excellent! Great Doctor!
awesome! a little brief but it was my fault because i didn't show up early enough for paperwork and threw off some appointment times.
This is the first psychiatrist I've had that made me feel like he wanted to help me instead of just ringing me out for as much money as possible. Very refreshing.
May be knowledgeable but I didn't think he spent enough time and I felt like the amount billed to my insurance was too much for what he did.
Pretty run-of-the-mill for a psychiatrist: As usual, I had to do part of his job for him and he had his own little prejudices. But again, all psychiatrists are like that. It concerns me a bit that Dr. Chisty so vehemently disagrees with information I have been given by older and more experienced psychiatrists.
I was seen right away, as a new patient, before I even completed my paperwork. Dr. Chisty was very patient and knowledgeable. I am so happy to have found Dr. Chisty, as most psychiatrists are hacks.
My first visit was very nice. It was obvious that the focus was on me and addressing my needs. I felt comfortable and welcome the entire time and look forward to my next visit.
He is an excellent psychiatrist and an original thinker.
Great hes an awesome doc!!!
I saw dr chisty several times but he never seemed to remember me. There were times I waited over an hour and others within 30 minutes. He seemed knowledgable in his field and even seems to want to extend compassion, but I wouldn't see him as a permenent doctor if I have a better option. The reason for this is based on my personal comfort level and experience. For another he may be the perfect doctor.
Felt as if it was a "cattle call'...patients continually "in/out' syndrome. His deamoner? As my first appt (Fri) I felt as if he was in a hurry to prescribe Meds & usher me on ...''see you in a week". DID NOT feel he was listening to the reason I was there...?????
Dr. Chisty and the staff at CCAP are wonderful. Dr. Chisty takes the time to understand every aspect of my life, to help me the most effectively. His professionalism and expertise is much appreciated!
He was able to switch my son's medication in such a way my son slept soundly through the night for the first time in a very long time.
Seems very knowledgeable and also seems up to date with current military issues as it comes to issues we may have after war time. Highly recommended to veterans.
I liked him very much upon our initial visit. I especially loved the bright decor and sensitivity and sincerity of the Dr. and the Manager. Since this was my first visit, I may adjust my review after my next one.
He listens and recommends what needs to be done. Good communication.
Well educated and expierenced.
Very nice doctor.
