I really did like Dr. Patel, she listened to what I had to say. Her exam made sense for my condition, and we have developed a plan of action to treat my chronic pain. My problem was that because of her front office it took about three weeks before I was actually able to see her. First she needed my prior records. Ok, that makes sense, so I arranged that. Then her office insisted my insurance required me to submit a Primary Care Dr's referral, but it doesn't. It was her office that requires this paper referral. This caused a lot of back and forth, and more stress than I needed, including a trip to her office where I never saw the Dr. They also called and changed my appointment time for both of these appointments. After I had the paperwork done and even coming in 15 min. early I had to wait for more than an hour to be seen.
I've seen A LOT of doctors for my back, and Dr. Patel is def my favorite. She is polite, makes you feel comfortable, and very informative and thorough with her diagnosis. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. I did have to wait awhile to make an appointment, but it was worth getting the great care I received.
I was treated by Dr. Patel in the past and had a great experience however, today I was not treated well by the front desk staff and decided to leave to avoid further embarrassment.
As usual, Dr. Patel and Rana were wonderful -- they listen, answer all my questions and have ideas for treating my very difficult condition. Thanks to you both!
Excellent. Very satisfied.
As usual, Dr. Patel and her PA Radha are compassionate, and try to think "out of the box" to solve my very difficult chronic pain. Thanks Dr. Patel and Radha!
Knowledge and caring about getting to the root of treating and getting pain relief.
Dr. Patel was knowledgeable, attentive to my concerns and responsive to my treatment needs. Would definitely recommend her. Staff also attentive and professional.
Such a bad experience. Do not even try to book an appointment with this doctor. Her office is totally incompetent and they are not synced with ZocDoc. Find another doctor.
All the office staff and especially the PA were great!
Dr. Patel issn extremely professional with a great personal touch that you don't see in mangy doctors anymore.
Dr.Patel was very compassionate and I very highly recommend her and her staff....She spent the time with me and understood everything I am going thru....I wish I could say that for other doctors but i cannot....
Professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful.
Made me feel like a drug addict making it seem like all I was coming in for was to get some prescription pain medication. Was very rude and not very helpful
She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to discuss the patient's concerns. She is always very pleasant and professional. I would absolutely refer her to family and friends. Dr. Patel is one of the nicest doctors I've met in a long time.
I was waiting a long time because i scheduled the appointment on the same day, the people who already had appointments had priority.. I was lucky to be seen at all!!!
I had an appointment with Dr.Patel for an epidural on Monday, 10/22/2012. By the time I reached her office my back pain was so excruciating that I collapsed on her magazine tan ble. She basically told me to "drive' to a hospital. I told her I was n in no condition to drive and that I needed an ambulance. She told me to leave and call an ambulance for myself from the parking lot. I attempted to do so but the pain was so bad that I collapsed in front of the elevator. Her staff condescendingly called me an ambulance as I am contorting in pain with my face on thier filthy carpet. Then they actually asked me if I could move because I was blocking the elevator! So they did not care about me or my suffering they were pissed off that I was spoiling their happy time in their office and treated me loke a misbehaved toddler. I want a doctor who cares about people not paychecks and I think they treated me horribly. So I will never go back there. Beware of smiling faces!
Took care of my problem and insisted I do a follow up.
honest and helpful
Dr Patel is extremely helpful and knowledgable. She takes her time with her patients, explains everything in detail, and is extremeley caring. I would highly recommend anyone in pain and considering surgery to go see her first.
Dr. Patel was patient, listened and addressed my questions and concerns. We made a plan. I was happy that we were on the same wave length as to my course of treatment.
