About Dr. Kristen Lee
Dr. Kristen Lee is a double board certified, IVY league trained gastroenterologist with special interest in Women's health, colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease/ulcerative colitis)I BS (irritable bowel syndrome) and hemorrhoid treatment. Dr. Lee graduated from Johns Hopkins University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with honors. She then attended Weill Cornell Medical College in New York where she received her medical degree with academic distinction. Dr. Lee went on to complete her post-graduate training at Mount Sinai Medical Center including her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology. As part of her fellowship, she also perused research in the specialized areas of ethnic disparities in colon cancer screening and in inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Lee has received numerous academic and clinical awards, including The Janet Glasgow-Rubin Memorial Award at Weill Cornell Medical College given to female students who graduate in the top 10% of their class. She also received a research-training award from the National Institutes of Health and was a grant recipient for an aging research program. She is a member of American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). She also holds membership with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). Dr. Lee has been extensively published in medical literature and has presented various abstracts and other oral presentations in her field. Dr. Lee's passion for patient care and clinical skills have earned her many awards and has earned her one of the finest reputations in NYC. We look forward to meeting you!

Dr. Lee was extremely professional and friendly. She listened to me and thorough explained everything to me which made me comfortable with everything that was happening. Dr. Lee was easy to talk to and didn't over complicate things, she explained why things happen and outlined how we intended to go about addressing my issues. She didn't rush into anything and offered many approaches we could take.
Dr. Lee was absolutely great and very attentive I’d definitely recommend her & go back to her! The reception however were not welcoming or patient, the way they handled me was as though they wanted me immediately out of the office.

Dr. Lee was attentive to my concerns and recommended various next steps. As of now I’m waiting on test results until I know what my next steps are, but I feel as though she has led me on a good path.
I just went for a GI consult but Dr. Lee was very straightforward and understanding! She laid out all the options for additional testing and made me feel heard and that I was being taken great care of. Almost no wait time, very clean office, and very kind front desk staff. When I called back later to ask about the prices of the additional testing, in case I decided to schedule that, they said their billing department would reach out. I have not heard back yet but I'm confident they will reach out. Overall good experience.

Dr. Lee listened attentively to all of my concerns and came up with a plan to diagnose my symptoms. She was warm and friendly and answered all of my questions patiently.
I had a consultation with Dr. Dann and was a1st time patient. The consultation was 45mn and Dr. Dann was very thorough explaining the treatment and diet along with the probable causes of symptom. I am to follow a specific diet monitoring results along with other type of treatment and procedures. Receptionists were very professional and accommodating as well. Overall, very professional and recommended.

Dr. Lee was friendly enough, however she made medical explanations very confusing for me. I think it's important doctors use simple terms, instead of medical terms, all of which I didn't understand. She did not explain much and I had to constantly ask her what things meant (and still walked away a bit confused). Overall she was nice, but I'm not sure I would return to see her.
