He is good, but waiting time really need to think how to improve!
Wait time was awful. I showed up early and it took forever to get seen. I didn't even receive any updates unless I prompted. Other people showed up and were seen right away.
Very knowledgeable and confident surgeon. Dr. Bickel came highly recommended as the top hand specialist in the San Francisco by 2 other surgeons I consulted prior to scheduling with De. Bickel
I found out what I needed to know.
Dr. Bickel was direct and thorough in his examination of my finger injury. He patiently answered all of my questions. Very professional and clearly knows his stuff. The only downside of my visit was that the office was already running 30 minutes behind at 9:30am, so the wait time was longer than it should have been.
Very professional and helpful. I asked to get to know how much the procedure will be and the staff (emily) was super helpful with all the information she provided... and for some of the legwork she will do to help me understand my responsibilities as it relates to my wallet.
I enjoyed meeting Dr Bickel. He was easy to talk to and answered my questions clearly and thouroughly .
Wonderfully caring and expert physician. Same goes for his office staff -- the best!
we walked out after confirming our 11 am appointment twice only to find out the doctor was at least 45 minutes behind schedule. we waited 30 minutes and were told another 20 minutes or more. its monday morning and your already an hour behind with your patients?
I liked Kyle Bickel very much but the wait was almost a full hour which is truly unacceptable.
Dr Bickel was GREAT! As was the assistant. Dr Bickel was very thorough, explained everything very clearly, and included loads of information on the hows and whys of my tendonitis. Don't think I've ever seen a doctor that provided that level of detail. Can't recommend him enough.
He cared about my symptoms, talked me out of the initial diagnosis of the other docs (non-specialists) and was attentive enough to correct a mis-interpretation the physician's assistant made on my chart. Also, warm conversation, and supportive of my active lifestyle.
Everything was lovely except the one hour wait.
Very good. Got right to the point! Very informative! Positive experience.
Professional. Easy, comfortable manner. The only reason I had to wait a few minutes is because I was early and they managed to squeeze me in earlier than my appointment time.
Very efficient, clear, and concise, but thorough.
Dr. Bickel is very knowledgeable about the hand. I highly value his opinion.
Great service. Very friendly and knowledgeable doctor !!
excellent and good communicator.
Good visit, good explanation of my problem and solutions, extremely professional.
Dr Bickel has a wonderful manner, is easy to talk to, and is concerned about his patients. Even after 12 years, he remembered working on my hand and was very painstaking in his exam.
He was excellent, went to Hopkins - can't do better!
Professional staff, great doc.
I appreciated Dr. Bickel's manner. He appeared knowledgeable, he listened carefully, and he explained the options I could pursue for the arthritis in my hands. He did not push surgery; in fact he did not recommend any action at this time. So many doctors are quick to tell you they can rectify your problem, but he agreed there was not quick fix for me. I will continue to remain under his care.
Doctor was great -- but he was running 40 minutes behind schedule due to emergencies.
I really appreciated the opportunity to meet with Dr. Bickel and get some clarity on a hand injury that has been bothering me for several months. I feel I am in excellent hands (ha) and confident my treatment is now moving in the right direction!
Personable, approachable, explained what I needed to know.
Friendly, polite, knowledgeable. He was great.
direct and professional with all the knowledge you can expect from a specialist without trying to sell you anything that can't be done or without certainty in the result.
I was seeing Dr.Bickel for a 2nd opinion because the doctor who performed surgery had made a mistake. Dr. Bickel is going to do what he can to fix things. He was honest and told me that there might be lasting damage from the 1st surgery. He was gentle and kind, answered my questions, and most important of all, was the first doctor to say he was really sorry this had happened.
He was kind, direct, honest, accepted me as I am, and gave sound advice.
I thought that the one front office person was a bit grim, maybe snooty. Otherwise, my dealings with the doctor were fine. All of my questions were answered patiently.
He's a straight shooter...I didn't hear what I wanted to hear, but the advice was what I expected.
