Dr. Cohen has been my ophthalmologist for well over a decade. He is a very caring physician whom I would recommend to anyone.
This was my first time to an ophthalmologist, so I had no idea what to expect. The staff person who did the initial exam explained everything, and was pleasant and efficient. Dr. Cohen was friendly, professional, thorough, and very informative. I left feeling very satisfied and well cared for by all. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen!
He is very professional. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it and then gave me a clear diagnosis. He is very reassuring.
Dr. Cohen took his time to evaluate my condition and provided clear explanations as to the case that brought me to his office
I have been a patient for 15 years and have always enjoyed his full attention. His referrals have also been excellent and the follow up is superb.
Great visit and excellent location for me
Perhaps the wait was so long because a patient came in one hour late for their appointment and was taken next.
The wait was absurd... the office is clearly overbooking appointments at the expense of patients' time. I waited an hour and a half before finally seeing Dr. Cohen. While my actual experience with him was pleasant, the wait is unacceptable.
Great experience. Very nice doctor and staff!
This is somewhat of an assembly line operation and although the service was professional my total wait time was about 2 hours for a total of about 20 minutes of service time. This is not unusual for operations which seek to maximize the productivity of the doctor but it comes at the expense of the patients time.
Perfectly fine doctor but the wait time was 2 hours. Even though they explained it was due to an emergency and then patients arriving late, this wait time has happened EVERY TIME I've gone for the past few years. I'm taking my eyes elsewhere, it's just unacceptable to wait 2 hours for an appointment that lasts 5 minutes.
Friendly and efficient. Came in for a simple general examination and he took care of business.
I've been with Dr. Cohen for a few years, so I think very highly of him. The wait isn't the quickest (partly because of the pre-exam and getting the drops), but once he sees you, you are good to go!
Dr. Cohen was very friendly and professional. The wait time was a little long, but the actual examination was thorough but efficient. Great experience all around!
Great physician, very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the wait time was a little ridiculous -- don't try to fit in an appointment during your lunch break!
an hour and half wait. He said this was an unusual day. My wife had a great experience
Dr. Cohen was thorough, compassionate, and knowledgeable -- and went out of his way to take care of a situation which had arisen after the fact. His office staff is also a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
While I have no complaints about the doctor, I am highly disappointed by the way the waiting time. I had to wait for almost two hours to see the doctor, and it is very clear that the office habitually overbooks the available slots. They should realize that they should respect the time of the patients, as much as they want their patients to respect their own time.
Professional and courteous staff. I had a very thorough eye exam and was completely satisfied in the level of competence. I highly recomend this doctor.
Thorough, informative and very professional.
He is a wonderful doctor. Been going to him for years.
Very thorough and patient.
Dr. Cohen is an amazing doctor! Patient, thorough and nice. The office is digital driven - I checked in online day before, it saved me a lot of time when I came in. Also, it was very impressive to see the Dr. and the stuff using iPads in very efficient way. Highly recommended.
I've been a patient for years & have sent many other people there. One of the best.
Great Doctor. Very caring. There was wait time but it definitely was worth it
Dr. Cohen is a very thorough doctor. He spends a great deal of time examining your eyes. I have been going to an eye doctor since before age 7, annually, and he is the first doctor to have noticed benign and slight retina disorder and referred me to a great specialist. He was very reassuring, explained everything thoroughly and overall has a warm presence that makes for a comfortable visit. The wait in the office is not ideal but never more than 20-30 minutes.
He is very competent and thorough.
Nice staff, wonderful receptionist. Dr. Leeber pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient.
Leeber Cohen MD has been my ophthalmologist for 7 years and has performed lens replacement surgery among other tasks--diagnostic and remedial. He is nothing short of brilliant. The wait time in his office is common among eye surgeons. If one must wait 90 minutes to be examined and counseled by an eye surgeon of his calabre, so be it: well worth the wait, in the case of Dr. Cohen.
Excellent bedside manner.
Been going to him for years....top of the line.
He is an excellent doctor. I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never been to an ophthalmologist as an adult. I figured at 41 it was time to get my vision checked. Still have great vision, except for that color blindness thing. Dr. Cohen was very professional and helpful in answering all of my questions.
I'd seen Dr Cohen before for the same problem- a stye that lasted a month! I highly recommend him and his office staff.
really good. Shelly said "Welcome to our office." I thought it was 1945.
I liked him very much. He was thorough and kind. I did notlike the long wait.
Super professional. He doesn't rush and takes time to explain everything. I have been going to doctor Cohen for the past 5 years and I have recommended him to many friends.
I am a longtime patient of Dr. Cohen and find him brilliant and compassionate.
Dr. Cohen's office runs very efficiently. Dr. Cohen assesses the situation and makes sure all is okay before you leave.
I did not feel rushed, and he was thorough in his explanations.
Pleasant wait and very courteous manner.
Excellent visit. Seen promptly. Good advice and the issues were carefully explained.
Doctor was thorough and reassuring. What else can you ask for?
Kind and patient
It was fine. He was running a half hour late due to issues with the LIRR. Completely out of his control.
My appointment was at 7:45AM, but no one showed up until closer to 8AM. I wasn't seen until 8:10, which is still great in my opinion. I just wish I wouldn't have been waiting at 7:30AM for the office to open.
Dr. Cohen is really lovely and thorough and very patient. I highly recommend him to others.
The office staff was very helpful; the examination process was orderly and efficient; his assistant was kind and patient, and Dr. Leeber Cohen fully explained the process and the results of my examination in language that I understood. He then promptly diotated a note to my personal MD. I was impressed with the whole process.
Very polite and educated. Was very professional and considerate of my needs.
It was fast...And I am satisfied with the service...Thanks...
very professional and courteous. I would return.
