Patient reviews for Dr. Lonnie Davis
Always pleasant and attentive. Dr Davis has performed 2 knee surgeries on me with no issues, now that my kids play sports, I take them there for their ortho needs as well.
Dr. Davis is not only an exceptional physician, but an exceptional human being. It's very clear to me his passion for sports as well as sports medicine. He is thorough, very sharp, and very kind and gentle. I highly recommend him and fully encourage you to put your trust in him as your doctor.
Very professional and great bedside manners. The office front desk was good except for a guy that was at the desk. When I came in I said good morning and he looked up and didn't respond. The woman was very pleasant. So that was appreciative. The xray technician was great as well.
Exceptional service. very focused on the long-term optimal solution vice a quick fix. Highly recommended.
I thought that he was quite thorough and wanted to examine properly before concluding anything. Although, I am still in diagnostic process, I have a good feeling that he will take it to a logical conclusion with minimum invasive treatment.
All of the staff that I came in contact with during my visit were courteous, informative, and efficient. The process was quick and exactly what I needed! Dr. Davis explained everything clearly and answered all of my many questions. Couldn’t recommend any more highly!
Excellent as always. Dr. Davis is fantastic!
This is not my first time seeing him the first time was for a bad knee , I guess because my knee was hurting my patience was very short but overall he’s a good doctor because I came back to see him again for my left wrist and my right elbow
Overall great experience. He walked me through my injury and explained what I should expect in the coming weeks and months. He did more than just telling me not to do something but really explained why I couldn't do something and what I should be able to do. 10/10 if I break my arms again would see.
Didn’t offer anything for my large amount of pain or my in ability to sleep. Didn’t seem to care about my well being.
The doctor is a great professional, and he knows a lot. The wait was a bit on the longer side, but other than that, everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Very unprofessional and rude. His office staff were rude as well. Put into a strap shoe for a broken that was too small (my toes were hanging over the edge) and told to deal with it. The Drs bedside manner was rude and unapproachable. I will never return or recommend.
Lonnie was great! My only complaint was waiting 45 minutes to be seen and the excess paperwork (very repetitive questions)
After making me wait an hour, a nurse came in to tell me that Dr Davis was still late and would not be coming for a long time. She did not even offer to try and satisfy my complaints. Terrible service and terrible commitment to patient satisfaction.
Very thorough appointment. He was extremely helpful with my injury and answered all of my questions. Very nice guy
He was super professional. Great doctor, explauned everything to me and gave me a brace that made everything feel so much better
Excellent Doctor, staff was very professional and accommodating.
Good dr— but had me, as well as several patients and their children, waiting for over an hr for our appointment. I was very specific about wanting an early appt since I work nights, the earliest available was 2:00pm. I wasn’t seen until 3:20... an apology was issued, but I would have appreciated the apology and/or explanation earlier on rather 1hr & 20 minutes later. The dr himself was very knowledgeable and explained my injury and treatment thoroughly. I will continue to see him but really would appreciate timeliness. Perhaps less double booking?
He was patient and showed me what to do to heal my sprained finger. He was professional and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions but he answered them all.
Dr. Davis is awesome. He is very personable and have awesome professional bedside manners. He speaks in manner you understands about your medical issues. I would recommend him.
He was very nice and took time to answer all of my questions
Dr. Davis was great. I feel like he really listened to my primary complaint and was focused on getting me back to the full swing of marathon training.
Dr Davis provided excellent information and treatment.
Excellent visit where Dr. Davis listened to me describe my symptoms, took time to explain in detail my preliminary diagnosis, and answered all my questions. There was no sense of rush.
He is fantastic! Very kind. Smart. Answered my questions. I know nothing. And he was so patient. Treated my son with wonderful kindness and dignity. Dr. Davis is a good man. Glad to have met him! Will definitely go to his office in the future if we have a need for it.
He was professional and very effective with the diagnosis, prognosis, and then recommended course of treatment.
Everything was fine except the wait time. You can't have a policy that penalizes you financially if you forget to cancel your appointment, then makes you wait over an hour. I understand the importance of being respectful, but it has to work both ways. My time is just as important as their time.
Very educated and experienced. I like the fact that he wants to ensure the correct diagnosis.
Dr. Davis was very pleasant to deal with - he explained my injury, the necessary treatment, and answered any questions I had. No complaints at all.
They did not call in my prescription like they said they would. CVS did not have it when I went to get it. I called the office and had to ask them to send it. I waited at the pharmacy for an hour standing on my aching knee and when I finally got it it was the completely wrong prescription. I had been there so long at that point that everyone at the office was gone so I had to leave without the right one.
Had a very horrible experience with Dr. Davis. I went to the Dr. with a minor meniscus tear. A MRI showed a minor outer tear. The Dr. recommended a minor surgery to correct it. I went with the surgery after assurances from Dr. that I will be much better after surgery. After surgery, the Dr. said that the tear was bigger and was more interior than as suggested by the MRI. My anticipated week long recovery turned into months of physiotherapy, multiple draining of the knee etc. Since the swelling of the knee persisted, a second MRI was done. The new MRI suggested that the original tear was still there. Dr. insisted that he had done a thorough inspection of the meniscus during surgery, but couldn’t find any additional tear than the one he found and fixed, but recommended a SECOND surgery to correct the original issue. As before, this time also assured a complete recovery, but I never went for it considering my experience. After all the pain, inconvenience, and fees my minor and occasional knee pain before surgery has become a nagging and a constant issue. I consulted a second Dr. who said that the original tear as shown by MRI is still there. On top of this the Dr. office has a horrible accounting system and staff that misses payments and insurance credits.
Waiting currently in the lobby. Been here since 10am. It is now 11am and I am just getting the paperwork to sign. People who arrived after me are being seen
Dr. Davis has twice now identified on MRIs the cause of my knee problems that other doctors completely missed. Dr. Davis was also my surgeon for my ACL reconstruction/meniscus repair. In short, he's the only orthopedic I trust and I won't waste my time/money with any other orthos.
His beside manor was impeccable. He is soft spoken and has a calm nature about him. Very good specialist.
Dr. Davis is arrogant and uncaring. His staff is cold and uncaring. He left me in a great deal of pain. I would avoid making an appointment. There are plenty of better professionals in this area, I have never received worse follow up care. Don't go.
This was a very efficient office, checking me in quickly as a new patient, and moving me through various tasks in a friendly, no -nonsense manner. I particularly appreciated the thoroughness of their questionnaire that helped me describe every aspect of the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Davis looked carefully at all the information, including x-rays, asked further questions, and clearly explained what may be going on with me. He also patiently answered the questions I had. I felt in good hands from the moment I walked into this office.
He is a very good and experienced doctor he pay attention to my concerns and communicate well with me in order to find a solution to my problem. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Dr Davis was my second opinion. Awesome dr he listene went over my MrI. I will be continuing my treatment with Dr Davis
Very honest doctor. Straight to the point and was helpful in explaining what was going on with my injury. Provided very good advice for moving forward with treatment.
he was very knowledgeable and excellent at translating what the issue with my knee was from medical terminology into layman's terms. He was extremely thorough and with this being my third opinion on my knee, I immediately decided I would continue through the surgery process with Dr. Davis.
Great! He did my surgery as well. I would return!
He was very short and curt, not friendly at all. When I asked clarifying questions, he was impatient and made me feel stupid for asking. Would not recommend.
The doctors seemed competent, & I was satisfied conclusion to our visit. However, he insisted on calling me "dear" despite my request that he desist and seemed impatient with my questions. All told, he was professional but I found him to be condescending.
He was fantastic with my daughter. Very thorough and kind.
I was extremely pleased with the service of all who attended to me - the receptionist, the assistant, and Dr. Davis. They cater to their patients and provide exceptional customer service.
Dr. Lonnie Davis has great bedside manner and was really helpful in helping me figure out complications with a healing ankle sprain. Any future issues I have, I will be coming to see Dr. Lonnie Davis.
Great Doctor! Seemed interested in my joint problems and trying to help fix them.
This doctor didn't listen. He had his script ready and didn't care what we had to say. When I had concern about the diagnosis being correct, he just dismissed me. I didn't like this doctor at all. He spoke to us like we are idiots. I'm not a doctor but I'm far from stupid. Even my 11 year old daughter commented that she did not like this doctor. He was unhelpful. She called it a "useless appointment".
