The front office staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I was taken back right away and updated on any status delays. Dr. Rankin and his staff were consistently helpful, respectful and wonderful to deal with. I I finally got some good answers and a treatment plan outlined. Physician friends had recommended Dr. Rankin -- now I see why.. Highly recommended!
The doctor himself was terrific but the wait was terrible. I also did not receive a confirmation about this appointment until 5 minutes before I arrived. When I called beforehand to ask if I was confirmed, I never received a straight answer.
They do not use zocdoc, so I arrived and the doctor was not in and my appt was not even recorded.
It was what I had expected from a true Professional organization.
This was my first visit and so far his bedside manner and detailed explanation was what I was looking for. In a world where doctors are more concerned about the dollar instead of the patient Dr. Marc Rankin did not show that side. So far I recommend him and this orthopedic department.
Excellent bedside manner. Personable and knowledgeable. Offered advice and information on how to proceed.
Love This Doctor and his staff. Very Professional.
Always very good.
Very professional and courteous. He explained my teen's condition to her very well and at a level she could understand.
It was great visiting with Dr. Rankin. He is very professional, he knows how to listen, he is very detailed in his explanation of what is going on and how to proceed with medical remedies. He is a caring doctor.
Exceptional guidance and services. The entire staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
I was unimpressed with the receptionist and the wait time. I was a new patient and had an 8am appointment time. I was told to get there early to fill out paperwork. I did but the office didn't open until 8am. When I got there, I got the papers, and turned it all in by 8:18am. I was still waiting to see the Dr. at 845am and asked when I would be able to see him. The receptionist said I was the next patient but that the "waiting time" really started when I turned in my paperwork. My suggestion is, don't schedule new patients for 8am since you don't give them the opportunity to fill out the paperwork before hand. But I would go back only because Dr. Rankin was so great -- very knowledgeable, willing to put in the time with me, very professional.
Reassuring, confirming, very professional but amiable. Would refer others to him without hesitation.
I visited the DC office. The hospital is a bit difficult to navigate so allow time for parking/getting around. Once in the office, I was promptly checked in and given new patient paperwork. After handing in my paperwork, it was about a 15 minute wait. The office was clean and overall pretty basic. I don't require the fanciest of offices as long as the care is good. Dr. Rankin was professional and personable. During my visit, he took the time to do some tests and x-rays. He provided both short and long-term remedies. He also answered any questions I had. I was quite pleased with his care and would return if needed.
Dr. Rankin and his staff were excellent. From the person that greeted me to the person that processed me out, I had a wonderful experience. I truly understand my ailment, the cause, and what I need to do heal. I highly recommend Dr. Rankin and his staff for your orthopedic concerns.
I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and waited over and hour to see him. I even asked if he was running behind about 30 minutes in and the staff said no. I certainly would have appreciated some more communication. Then I was in the waiting room and getting xrays for the next hour. That said, Dr. Rankin when he did come to see me was very good. he knew just what questions to ask, clearly explained the medical definitions and what I was experiencing and went through all the options for me, and what I could and could not do with my knee. I would not hesitate to recommend him, but was very disappointed with how the wait and office part of the visit was handled. I was also glad that they did Xray's on site, instead of having to go to another location, and the radiologist was quick and good.
