Best doctor I've ever had. He very attentive, and thoroughly discussed the cause of issues I am experiencing, and when I should and should not worry. I asked him many questions which he had all of the answers to, and evendelved into the biological processes of the heart to allay my concerns. I'm honestly stunned by how informative and courteous he was. The staff was very courteous as well, and the wait time was negligible.

Dr. Mayer is a highly intelligent, well informed physician with an engaging personality and nice bedside manner. During my first visit, he was kind enough to offer medical recommendations outside his area of direct expertise (cardiology)which I appreciated. This was an indication that he views the patient as a whole person instead of a medical chart. His medical assistants, Marie and Margaret, were very kind, professional and competent at their respective roles (bloods, EKG, Echocardiagram). I have been to many cardiologists over my lifetime and am now grateful to have found Dr. Mayer.

Dr Meyer was well mannered, high spirited and thorough. He was very generous with his time and answered all my questions. He even took extra time to explain my condition in a way that quashed any anxiety I had about mycondition. Something my previous cardiologists had never done leaving me worried about it.

It was the strangest doctor appointment I have ever had. Mark sat up on the counter in a weird position, leaning far back very casually with his legs crossed, and asked me questions that had nothing to do with my health. It was as if he was hitting on me, but acting very condescending at the same time. He asked me if I worked out and then went on to comment on my physique. He asked me why I got my tattoos and then went on to tell me that usually only truck drivers and unsuccessful people have tattoos. He said that the people he usually sees are people who would never get a tattoo and then went on to tell me about a Wall Street executive whom he was surprised had tattoos. The final straw came with him telling me I should get my tattoos removed. What kind of doctor acts like this?

First of all, the wait time was almost nothing. As soon as I filled out the forms as a new client, I was brought in. Immediately they started the sonogram. Once that was done and the nurse left the room, anothernurse came in within a minute to conduct an EKG. And once that was done, not a minute passed before Dr. Meyer came into the room. I've never seen it happen so well. The nurses were very friendly. Dr. Meyer gave me a generous amount of his time considering there was nothing wrong with me. He took the time to get to know me personally before getting into the reason for my visit. He was friendly, funny, and empathetic. He carefully walked me through the science of what was happening without going over my head. Then, at the end, he even wrote down all the medical terms he used and where I could go to read about them. This was probably the best experience I've had in any kind of medical office. I made a trip from Tribeca because the reviews are good, and it was very much worth it. Can't recommend this office, staff, and doctor enough.

All the previous reviews about this Doctor are very true. He's the best doctor I have seen in NYC. Very calm, knowlegdeble, attentive, makes you feel at ease, gives you a lot of time despite his packed schedule even on weekdaysin the City. He's very experienced and you are assured to be in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Meyer. The receptionist - Katie is very helpful and kind and gets you whatever you need with regards to you appointment. She had already spoken to my insurance company even before I got there (which has never happened in any clinic I have visited in NYC). They don't waste time at all. They get all your tests done one after the other and you don't have to visit 3 times for the tests (like what i had to do at other clinics). They respect your time. Great experience.

An extraordinary visit with Dr. Meyer, to whom I'm most grateful. After an uneasy night in the ER, my husband was asked to get a stress test. We were so pleased to be able to nab a spot on the sameday, and to have been handled in an efficient and gracious manner. It's been many years since I've witnessed a doctor work so thoroughly to establish baselines and to explain the process, findings, and suggestions. The visit was productive, reassuring and comprehensive - veering towards total health, not only cardiac health. Highly recommended for patients seeking an intelligent and practical approach. We left having scheduled the follow-up appointments with the doctor as well as with radiology appointments. Kudos to the office staff who are professional and efficient. Many many thanks for the visit and excellent care, which should enable a much sought after good night's sleep.

In addition to discussing the results of the tests taken during my office visit, Dr, Meyer spent additional time with me discussing and explaining outside optionsthat are available to help improve my health and well being. I appreciated his suggestions and advice.
