I had a great visit with this doctor. I didn't have to wait long to be seen and everyone had great attitudes and was very helpful. The doctor showed me everything as he looked at it and explained everything to me that I needed to understand what was going on with my wrist. He seemed very concerned and gave me the next steps fix my wrist issues. I would recommend going to this office because they are very professional and helpful
He was excellent. Would recommend anyone who needs an ortho to see him.
Very quick and responsive! Everyone I met with was very helpful and friendly.
Very pleasant doctor & staff.
Dr. Mohrmann and his staff were wonderful!
Had the benefit of an on-premises x-ray diagnosis that confirmed the latest condition of a wrist injury that had been in a cast for a month resulting in a conservative PT approach. Have been making good progress with the doctor's treatment approach.
It was a great experience. I went in with a broken finger. He answered all of my questions and concerns, explained the break to me, and had me fitted immediately with a splint and it's already starting to feel better than before. So, all round a great experience.
Fast and efficient. This was the 4th doctor I had seen since my wrist was broken and this doctor did not make me feel paranoid about not having surgery.
I was seen by the receptionist upon arrival and was called into the room quickly then seen by the doctor almost immediately. I was actually out of the office within a half an hour and that was with removing my cast and X-rays. Always professional!
Went for a followup after a suggested MRI was done. Prior treatment from Dr Mohrmann seems to have cured my issues. Excellent practise.
I have seen him twice now for two different accidents and he is extremely knowledgeable. He did a surgery on my thumb 2 years ago and when I recently injured my finger I looked him up again because I know he is the best
He was great and helpful.
Very short wait used doing the paperwork. Very professional environment, friendly and competent staff, and all the equipment needed to make a diagnosis and start treatment. Dr. Mohrmann was quick to identify and treat the issues I had, and his support staff took care of the rest.
he addressed the issues
The doctor said literally four words to me during the appointment "have a nice day." His assistants do the job for him. I guess if you are not dying, the doctor doesn't need to speak to you, even though you booked the appointment with the doctor and you are charged for the doctor's time.
Wow, don't know where to start with the office of Dr. Mohrmann. I broke my knuckle, he came in and saw me for less than 2 minutes, only to charge me later for "surgery" and stick me with an outsized bill/. When I tried to push back and say I didn't receive surgery, the office claimed that it was to cover a "90 day window, in case anything else happened". And when I asked to speak the doctor about this, he hid in the back while sending the billing people to explain the process. When I finally agreed to pay the bill, I submitted the payment online. For the month that followed, I received urgent notices saying my bill was still due. And when I tried to call the doctor's office, the billing department forces you to leave a message and doesn't even take your call. At the time of this review, they haven't gotten back to me. This is a doctor's office that seems to be seeking to remind you that health care treatment is all about money, and nothing else. I never leave reviews and was inspired to do so by this experience. Don't bother.
Dr. Mohrmann is very thorough, professional & personable. I had pain in my arm & wrist after a fall. Luckily he sent me for an MRI which showed a fracture in my right radius. With conservative treatment such as physical therapy and a very personable "bedside manner", he saw me through full recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Mohrmann.
Dr. Mohrmann and staff was very attentive and courteous. They answered all of my questions and delivered the best treatment. I highly recommend him.
Amazing treatment from Dr. Mohrmann. He was very kind and knowledgeable.
office staff is extremely helpful and attentive. I've had bilateral carpal and cubital tunnel and I've been getting a great treatment plan with medical equipment and occupational therapy.
Everything was great and professional but have been requesting materials / exercises for 2 weeks and cant get anyone on call or call back.
I did not spend much time with the doctor. Nor was he the one who completed the procedure I had to have done. Rather it was his assistant. Never was that communicated that she would be doing the procedure. No matter how major or minor the physical condition if I am make an appointment with a doctor I expect them to examine and do the procedure or at least communicate that they will not be doing the procedure. The assistant seemed knowledgeable yet not entirely confident in what she was doing which made me not 100% confident in her. Hopefully all is ok.
The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable and confident in that they will be able to fix my injury. The x-rays and diagnosis were very quick and to the point. I have to undergo surgery so this is the extent of my current experience.
Excellent service. Same day appointment. No hassle and courteous. Professional and great bedside manner.
The visit was informative and friendly. He didn't seem rushed to leave and heard all of my concerns. Went above and beyond. Exactly what I want from a doctor visit and I'll be returning!
The staff was warm and receptive, very helpful. Everything was exceptional.
I think that Highline orthopedics is certainly competent but the problem is they don't spend enough time with each patient. The schedule is approximately 10 minutes per patient and that sometimes does not leave enough time with the doctor
I have been a patient of Dr. Mohrmann for a while now and I would highly recommend him.
Awful bedside manner. Couldn't have made less of an effort. Seemed put out that he had to see a patient. Then walked in on me changing... no knock. Very dismissive and didn't explain findings of ultrasound work.
He was very dismissive and told me physical therapy was the only way I can go no cure just do physical therapy
While I was in and out very quickly, he spends very little time with the patient and didn't take a minute to listen to the specifics of my pain. Also, I wasn't able to get the MRI he wanted me to get because insurance said he didn't provide enough proof of trying to treat it first. Insurance said to have Dr. Mohrmann call them. It's been over a month now, and Dr. Mohrmann (or anyone from his office) has even attempted to reach out to me or call my insurance even though I've called his office 5 times now and am still in a lot of pain. I'm going to find a different doctor, one that hopefully has time for his or her patients.
desk staff was rude and failed to comprehend the seriousness of the issue . Could not get a callback from doctor in order to complete HR paperwork in order to return to work. . Staff assistants did not call when promised. Took over a month to get communication from doctor/PA. Had to get my primary physician to intervene to communicate with doctor. Doctor did not call. Overall, it took two months to speak to the doctor. After each apt I barely spent 2 minutes with the doctor.
At my second appointment with Dr. Mohrmann I waited about 30 minutes to be seen. What didn't impress me was that the doctor didn't remember my particular case history and asked me a number of irrelevant questions. This was less than encouraging. Once he was caught up to speed, he was helpful in answering my pre-surgery questions. My greatest frustration with the visit was that I learned I need to make another pre-surgery appointment 30 days prior to the date of surgery. This was not clearly communicated prior to today's appointment.
Very courteous staff and very professional. No waiting time.
Very diligent knows what going on and very pleasant staff is pleasant as well
Firstly, the fact that they are open on Saturdays - with an orthopaedist available - especially in the summer, makes them unique. The staff and doctor were thoughtful, caring and very accommodating. Highly recommended!
When I arrived at the office we were early and Dr. Mohrmann introduced himself and asked us to have a seat so that they could prepare for us. I thought it was a nice touch that he did this. We hardly waited at all when his PA brought us in and evaluated me. Next Dr. Mohrmann came in took a look himself and made his decisions. I thought that between the 2 of them that I was treated well and would recommend.
I was seen right away. The PA and the doctor were very thorough. They explained my issue clearly and couldnt be nicer.
It was super fast and professional.
i was treated for trigger finger and my finger is much better
I have only been to the facility twice. Each time I had an intern who actually met with me and gave me the steroid shoot. The first one almost gave me a shot on the wrong hand and the second was not that much better. Dr. Morhmann did provide coverage but only from his central station. I am going to give it one more "shot". If the doctor does not personally come and see me, or treat my condition, I will no longer do business here.
It was quick and he seem very knowledgable about what I was experiencing.
Dr. Mohrmann and his entire team were extremely efficient, friendly and professional. I came in with sharp wrist pain. After summer xrays, a physical test and conversation they quickly identified my condition as a form of tendinitis common to new. The treatment began immediately with a shot and a custom made splint made by the physical therapy part of the practice. It was a smooth and reassuring process. To boot, filling out their online firms through zocdoc made check in that much easier.
Empire Orthopedic who I saw here in 2014 decided to change their name to Highline, so I was a "new customer" and had to pay more. This sucked because I am self-pay. Then they sent my pain prescription to my old pharmacy, so obviously I am NOT a new customer or they wouldn't have had old information in their system. That really turned me off.
Doctor and Nurse explained what is required to cure my condition . I was also treated for pain,. a referral for MRI . The examination, treatment and patient doctor conversation is brief but concise .
I was seen by Dr. Mohrmann before I could finish filling out the new patient paperwork (fast). He was both thorough and attentive. I came for a second opinion and felt understood and cared for. The experience was so positive that I will be changing doctors and having Dr. Mohrmann perform my surgery.
The Dr saw me for 2 minutes to ask what was wrong , didn't even introduce himself, then I was told I was getting xrays done, not told why, then the Dr popped his head in door to say xrays were good, and then the asst Dr took over .
Dr. Mohrmann is very professional and accurate in his diagnoses. Experienced and supported by a very competent staff.
Incredibly knowledgeable doctor who took time to explain everything.
Mohrmann's assistants were very personable and curious when it came to figuring out what treatment I needed. Mohrmann himself was very quick to the point, almost matter-of-fact, which I found helpful. I imagine that same quality could turn some folks off. Overall a decent practice in a solid location.
Dr. Mohrmann was direct, kind and quick during my visit. His assistants were friendly and helpful, too. I definitely recommend this practice - their location isn't half bad, either!
good hope i dont need cast or surgery
The medical assistant was fabulous. I saw the doctor briefly he was caring. I have to go back and will do so. I like his soft spoken tone.
His prescribed treatment for a mild injury struck me as far too aggressive so I sought a second opinion from another orthopedist who fully agreed with me. This was more than a difference of opinion. Dr. Mohrmann's prescribed treatment would have seriously reduced my quality of life for weeks.
He's great , the staff is great. Very nice and they remember who you are personally
He was quick but did not seem very thorough. His staff needs to speed things up they were way too slow
I did not have to wait long once I arrived at my appointment. I waited less than 30 minutes tops.
Great office! Friendly staff! Superb doctor!
The doctor is great and the PA is amazing !
Best caring doctor I have ever met. Made me feel comfortable and explained everything thoroughly . Genuinely a nice guy. Very professional. His staff is also great! No waiting. You are taking in right away. Definitely recommend him.
I went in for a wrist pain/injury. Very professional and experienced staff, they diagnosed the issue quickly and accurately. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Morhmann showed much concern regarding my arm pain. He examined both arms to compare the difference in the two and wasted no time in giving me the accurate diagnosis and proper treatment that I needed to stop the pain. I've been to plenty of orthopedic doctors and he is the best so far. He has excellent bedside manners.
The doctor is located inside a business not mentioned on ZocDoc so entrance is confusing and when I called to ask how to enter, I was put on hold for over 3 minutes and then hung up on when I took only 3 seconds to respond. It is also not clear that each doctor here has a different specialty.
Spent most of my time with a wonderful physician's assistant and excellent x-ray tech. PA took history, etc. Left and said doc would need new x-rays. 15 minutes with nice x-ray tech. Saw doc for maybe 30 seconds where he told me he found two fractures on my x-ray and I need a cast. Then more time with the PA applying the cast and again being really nice and answering questions, explaining everything as she went, etc. Really can't comment much on the doctor per se, but all the secondary staff are great.
Manhattan office (Park Place) is less people and doctor has more time to spend with you and explain you everything. I really like Doctor Mohrmann, he took care very well of my two hands.
The doctor was terrific. Came in quickly, did a thorough asessment and got me the help I needed efficiently and thoughtfully.
While the wait was quite quick and the Dr. was nice I would have to say that I still felt rushed when I visited both his offices. I still have pain and will like see another Dr. before considering revisiting this one again.
While Dr. Mohrmann is a bit clinical in tone, he's very clear and was incredibly knowledgable. He explained in perfectly confident detail what was going on with my hand (I had a slightly torn tendon).
He greeted me which felt very sincere. I felt a good vibe from him. He cares about his patients.
It went very well. Dr. Mohrmann and his staff are very professional.
I actually saw his associate, Dr Echenique. He was great. Not only was his manner very nice, he also helped my pain issue immensely. Within 24 hours, my pain was reduced by at least about 80%
GREAT FAST SERVICE
Everyone was caring, professional and competent.
excellent....same as before.
Very professional and accurate in his diagnostics as usual.
Good visit well apreciated
This was my second visit 3rd visit with him and I'm going to go to another doctor just for a second opinion. He told me what my issues were, but with a tear in several places, all I received was a splint, and I'm worried things may not heal correctly. I also have pain somewhere else, but hes not really telling me how to treat that pain either. His assistant gave me more advice than he did.
I was first a patient of Dr. Mohrmann when his Bronx location was near Pelham Parkway. He is very respectful and efficient, looks to solve problems as thoroughly as possible. I have returned as a patient since last year for a recurring wrist issue and the new facility is a great improvement and he is still consistent with quality-level care.
A knowledgeable, doctor who explains everything, cares about his patients, and he's super sweet.
Excellent and professional staff,
Always very professional and accurate in his diagnostics.
Dr. Mohrmann and the entire staff were wonderful! They were professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. The diagnosis, treatment, expectations and time frame for recovery were explained and easily understood. I would certainly recommend Dr. Mohrmann and his staff.
Packed waiting room and most of the info transferred from zocdoc. Was seen quickly and Mark and his staff were very professional
Very professional team here. They took care of everything I needed.
From the minute you walk in you are treated with respectfully and they make your appointment as pleasant and smooth as possible. Throughout my visit I was kept updated on what will be happening next. Very nice! Thank you
I think Dr Morhmann was very patient, courteous and comforting, I would definitely recommend this Doctor and the office was nice and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful.
Everyone gave individualized, friendly, and patient care. My needs were met and my expectations were surpassed.
I was very disappointed by Dr. Mohrmann. I found him dismissive of my questions and concerns, and belittling in his demeanor. The office felt like an orthopedic assembly line- it was very businesslike, without much concern for seeing patients as people.
The staff at the office is very efficient and very professional. I am very pleased with the service and knowledge that Dr Mark Mohramann approaches me as a patient.
This office is awesome, the staff is incredible, so many attentions and caring, Dr. Mohrmann is excellent, is the first orthopedic office that really caring their pts., all equipment are there and if you need any orthopedic appliance, they make it on site, clean and neat, also Dr. Jose Echenique is fabulous, I love this place. Thank you all the girls at the front desk, I wish knowing all your names but with none exceptions all of them are amazing.
Great facility, great knowledgeable staff, nice office and doctor Mohrmann was very kind thorough and informative. It was a night and day experience and environment in comparison to the place I previously visited for the same issue. I highly recommend Dr. Mohrmann.
Visits with Dr. Mark Mohrmann are ALWAYS great!
He was satisfactory.
I broke my left thumb - they took the X-ray with the "R" indicating it was the Right thumb in the X-rays. When I later went back for Xrays the doctor disagreed with me about which thumb I had broken. My thumb still has pain a year later, but I do not want to go back to this doctor.
Very clean place, next to a lot of transportation, friendly staff.
The staff was very courteous. Dr. Mohrmann was thorough in his explanation of what might possibly be causing my wrist pain. The best part was the X-Ray and sonography was done on premises and I was out in 15 minutes.
As always dr mohrmann and his office are always very professional ,courteous and a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't trust my hands to anyone else.
Excellent doctor a nd physician Assistant .
It went well and he knows his stuff.
Dr. Mohrmann was fantastic. He explained everything throughly and treated me quickly. Would highly recommend him.
Outstanding professional. Very accurate in the assessment of the problem. His staff is highly qualified and really nice dealing with the patients.
Very friendly and professional staff. No wait time at all. I was seen before I even completed the paperwork. Definitely would recommend.
He's a capable doctor, but has zero bedside manner. He was rushed in his consultation with me, and didn't listen very well. At my follow up visit, he told me to keep wearing the finger brace he hadn't actually given me at the first visit--either he isn't checking his patient records very well, or he really did mean to give me a brace, but didn't get around to it. EIther way, that's disturbing. The problem I saw Dr. Mohrmann for is now better, and I'm grateful for that, but should it ever recurr, I wil be seeking out a different doctor.
Very knowledgable !! I will definitely recommend !!
Good he described the treatment plan and alternatives.
A wonderful and personal and thorough doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Morhrmann and his awesome team.
Super professional and to the point, not one for small talk. Nobody wants to spend a minute longer than they have to in the doctors office and that's certainly the case here. In and out in 30 minutes and my finger feels great. Enough said.
good to see a doctor who can see you at the time you actually make the appointment! His staff is top notch as well and make you feel like home!
Very brief/quick visit but healed my wrist in no time definitely seemed very knowledgeable.
One of the nicest, friendliest doctors I have seen in my life. Office was super efficient and well-organized. He was knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to care I was hurt. I wish all doctors I have seen in my life were like him. If you have a hand/wrist injury, I'd highly recommend.
Dr. Mohrmann was really friendly and generous with his time. He made sure to show me my ultrasound, explain what was wrong, and then how we'd proceed to fix it. The office was immaculate, the staff very helpful. I'm really impressed with this practice.
Dr. Mohrmann has treated me several times. I'm always very happy with the results.
Extremely nice and helpful. I'd certainly recommend him.
Quick, accurate diagnosis and treatment.
I didn't enjoy my visit. He was very busy. So important info I wanted to share has to wait until my next visit.
Dr Morhmann and his excellent staff are always treating there patients with courtesy, caring and professionalism.
Dr. Morhmann and the people at Highline Orthopaedics are awesome! My appointments were fast and my treatment very effective. The location is accessible and everyone I encountered was not only a professional, but quite kind as well. Hopefully I don't need this type of medical treatment again, but if I do this is the medical office I will be returning to.
He was attentive. He explained what was wrong and prescribed what was needed for my recovery. Of course it's not that simple. Only time will heal all wounds and with the help of a gr8t Doctor. One more thing. I must give praise to all the staff. Who work at High line Orthopedics. Thanks for making my waiting time short and pleasant.
Great doctor! Quick service and incredibly helpful!
I felt as if the doctor tried to pressure me into surgery without laying out all of the other options. Thank goodness I got a secondary (and third) opinion who let me know that surgery was not the only course of action.
I went to see Dr Mohrmann after injuring my wrist and was experiencing a lot of pain. His office was impeccably clean and the entire staff was very attentive and friendly. Dr. Mohrmann made me feel comfortable, was very thorough with the explanation of my injury and took care of the inflammation. I can't thank him and his staff enough for taking great care of me. I would highly recommend Dr. Mark Mohrmann to anyone looking for a hand surgeon. He is simply the best.
During the visit to this clinic I didn't feel like a patient but more like a product on an assembly line: people walking in and out of the room, nobody telling me what is going on, and I saw the doctor himself for at most 2 minutes, literally.
Everyone in the office from the receptionists, physician assistants and x-ray technician to Dr Mhormann himself are friendly, helpful and very professional. Highly recommended!
It went quickly, but he was very rushed. The total time I spent with him was less than 60 seconds and he didn't ask if I had any questions afterwards. I wanted to know why I was only getting a shot to help the pain in my left elbow when both elbows hurt. I wanted to know what I can do to speed the process along/make it hurt less/get back in the gym quicker/etc. I wanted to know what he think caused this in the first place. He was so rushed, I didn't get to ask him any of these things (which probably would have only taken him an extra minute to answer) and I left feeling frustrated and unresolved. The facility is very nice, everyone was super nice, and I was seen very quickly, but I didn't get enough time with the doctor which was obviously the whole reason I was there in the first place.
The entire Staff was very courteous and my wait time was basically, zero,Upon signing in, I was escorted to an exam room. The doctor was patient and thorough.
Great experience. Will definitely go back if I have similar issues in the future. For once, I'm not dreading an upcoming doctor's appointment. Actually looking forward to the follow up, and not nervous about seeing the doctor.
All the team was nice, ready to explain questions and very efficient in their work.
Extremely efficient in diagnosis while maintaining a positive and genuine care for my experience. I have heard others rave about his care and will also recommend him.
My visit to this clinic was perfect. Highly recommend it.
His Assistant Leni, is very caring and well manner I'm satisfied with the the aide I received for the two different problems. I would recommend her/ Dr Mohrmann highly.
Waste of time. He likes for patients to make extra visits so he can rip off the insurance companies.
He had very bad bedside manner. Didn't greet me or introduce himself. Said "so what's wrong with your wrist" as he walked in. Seemed to be in a huge rush. I went to him more than once and it was the same every time. Would not recommend him.
Dr. Mohrmann was very thorough and his assistants were very friendly and amazing. Excellent service
No wait time love this place
I was not satisfied with this doctor at all! He didn't even give my time to fill up the forms. When I went inside, his assistant performed ultra sonograms, and x-rays and from that he just assigned me a belt! It turn the belt is priced at 3 time lower than the amount he charged me! This doctor is a scam, and well, he is not even a doctor but a con-doctor who just tricks his patients for money! Because of this, I am also informing 311 and MetroPlus about this doctor.
Super nice Doc.!
Excellent, and at 59 I still do some running, a little basketball and bike riding - so when my knees start aching I will return to Dr. Norman.
Professional and modern!
Top notch professional
Very quick. Guess the main things needed to be done before an actual full fledge conversation.
Efficient and thorough Answered my questions with patience
I WOULD GO TO HIM AGAIN
Immediate diagnosis and prompt, correct treatment. Will definitely recommend
He is skilled and knowledgable. He is not a sociable person but he is professional.
Very effecient and professional, would highly recommend to anyone.
Dr. Mohrmann was friendly but seemed like he was in a bit of a rush. I felt like he could have shown a bit more interest and concern in my injury.
Efficient, friendly. His assistant was excellent. I waited maybe 10 minutes and then flew through the visit with the doctor, x-ray and having a brace made.
The doctor was very professional and concerned about my injury. He was not quick to prescribe drugs or surgery. He wanted to make sure the best treatment was prescribed based on my active lifestyle.
Very professional. Staff courteous and efficient. Parking is a bit of a bother
They didn't listen to where I was saying the pain was for a wrist I had fallen on and concentrated x-rays on the other side. The wrist was still not better after 2 months and after going back to England for 2 weeks had it looked at again, to have told that there was in fact a hairline fracture. Still have slight pain months later now.
Very Professional. Impressive
He was great and one point
You couldn't ask for a better doctor - professional, clear, thorough and highly competent. I hate having things go wrong with my hands or elbows, but I am always confident Dr. Mohrmann can help me get back to doing all the things I want to do as soon as possible!
very smart doctor.
I loved that he was not ready to jump into surgery unless absolutely necessary.
I honestly felt as though I were completely rushed in this visit. I don't know the reason for this behavior but I couldn't even ask him to explain my condition more thoroughly. I did not feel as though he cared about me or my health status at all just the money he just made in those 2-3 minutes
Dr. Mohrmann is very professional and very quick. It is always a no-nonsense visit during which he takes your case seriously and makes recommendations.
Dr. Mohrmann is a wonderful physician. He is kind and competent. The only thing is that he speaks so quickly! : )
He diagnosed and treated my pain correctly and after PT I was good. There was zero wait and outside of him everyone was sweet and pleasant. He was polite but barely spoke with me and was gone in under a minute. When he first entered the room he introduced himeself to me without looking up to notice that I wasn't in the room. I was standing behind him because I had stepped out to use the restroom. If you want someone who will come in, treat you, then leave..... he is your guy. If you are looking for someone to talk to about your concerns or listen to any questions you have....he is not the guy.
Everyone is Wonderful!!!! Love Lena, his assistant.
He an excellent doctor
Empire State Orthopedics reminded me of a factory churning out patients like widgets. I was very unsatisfied and have found another practice / doctor who has been wonderful.
It was good
It was good and fast less painful
The visit was thorough and efficient. Very solid.
Doctor Mohrmann seems to know what he is doing, but he does not take the time to explain anything you and does not give you the time to ask any questions.
This was my second appointment with Dr. Mohrmann, with a period of 2 years separating the visits. He remembered me immediately. Dr. Mohrmann fixed my left hand up completely the first time, and now he has completely healed my right wrist, with not a hint of the piano-playing related problem remaining. He is my hero. The doctor has even loosened up a bit in 2 years, not that personality is a major factor in choosing a physician. You should feel confident that Dr. Mohrmann definitely knows what he is doing, and will help you.
Impressed from start to finish! Now my body has to do the healing.
very professional and quick.
Everyone was very professional and extremly quick
Dr. Mark was very informative and helpful about procedure. I feel extremely comfortable going into surgery with him this week.
He was very accurate and informational
Everyone at the practice was professional. His PA was excellent. Saw him for just a few moments.
Dr. Mohrmann was great! I briefly described my issue and he immediately identified what was causing the pain, it made for a very quick and efficient visit.
Received excellent care immediately
He makes you wait for an hour at times... But he will last less then 4 mins with you. Won't go again.
thorough and quick
Efficient, quick, helpful and he is patient and listens well. I feel I get excellent care.
The visit was great as always!!
Cordial, informative, knowledgeable, and precise with care.
He seemed very knowledgable and professional,
Got an appt the night before, doc was right on time, uber confident and for good reason, he was right on about my diagnosis! Highly recommended!!
Aside from the long wait, and that someone with an appointment 20 minutes after me got in before me, he was very helpful and answered all my questions.
Very professional. Appointment was quick and painless, just the way I like it.
Dr. Mohrmann knows his stuff but this last visit he didn't even come in the room to see me, just stuck one foot to hold the door open and peered in to discuss my wrist problem. He spend so little time it is very difficult to remember questions and get them answered. I think this time I literally got one minute of his time. If you don't mind this, then he likely is good at what he does. Just don't expect much time with him, or a very personable manner.
Dr. Mohrmann & everyone at Empire State Orthopedics are professional, caring, and just plain great.
Very efficient visit. got my elbow taken care of in under an hour.
Very knowledgeable, really listened to what I told him, and had good suggestions and told me what to do for follow up. His Physician's assistant (who then gave me a steroid shot) was also very helpful and answered my questions.) My only issue is that he spoke extremely fast!
i felt he was very rushed. he seemed professional looking etc, but was either very busy or didn't care too much. accuracy of his diagnosis (the most important thing) is yet to be determined.
Very efficient and knowledgeable about my hand ailment. A bit rushed, which may speak to some comments people have had here about bedside manner. Personally, however, this doesn't bother me at all... what I want is to see someone that knows their profession well and can handle my case. Dr. Mohrmann was able to deliver on this standard and was pleasant enough and responsive when I had questions.
Dr. Mohrmann was knowledgeable, professional, and practical in his approach to problems. It is a busy practice, but very efficient. He listens well and the time he spends with you is very focused. He also returned phone calls and emails. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
He is a EXCELLENT Doctor!
First of all, let me say that I hate giving bad reviews to people...I generally find some redeeming quality about them. I wish the same could be said for my experience with Dr. Mohrmann. He walked in the room asking me questions. "Hello, how are you? My name is Dr. Mohrmann" would have been nice. Or even "Hi" would have sufficed. But no introduction was made, for he came in reading my chart aloud very quickly as if he were reading a long school assignment he just wanted to be rid of. He diagnosed me and was out of the room in about 90 seconds, stating I needed an MRI and a splint for my wrist. While this might be an accurate diagnosis, he could not care less about getting to know me or about treating me like a person instead of a chart.
