Megan Wolf is a New York City based Registered Dietitian. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and a Bachelors degree in Anthropology from Bates College. This was my first time seeing a dietician and Megan was super awesome. She asked really helpful questions, was very knowledgeable, and explained what I should do really clearly and effectively. She is also amazingly personable and really, genuinely cares about your wellbeing. Fantastic!

Wolf is caring, extremely smart, non-judgemental and compassionate. If you want a meal plan that doesn’t have to be obsessive, and a caring ear to express nutritional concerns to, she is a solid practitioner to see.

Megan was SO. HELPFUL. She's extremely down-to-earth, and completely focused on the practical. We talked for almost NINETY. MINUTES. during the consultation, which is almost unheard of in terms of face-to-face time with a provider, and Ileft with a real plan that's going to work for ME. Look, weight loss and nutrition is 80% psychology and 20% strategy, but that 20% strategy is VERY important. Megan and I stayed mostly in strategy, but I was left with a set of principles rather than a strict list of thou-shalts and thou-shalt-nots, which is SO. CRUCIAL. She did bring up the topic of weight loss meds or surgery, which I think can be important tools for many people with their weight loss, but isn't pushy about them -- i.e. she's trying to do what's best for you, not for the clinic's bottom line. (I elected not to go down that road until I've tried and failed behavior-focused strategies, but YMMV and it seems like she won't steer people into a decision that isn't right for them.) I'm looking forward to continue working with her, building a working strategy, and losing weight.

If you’ve been hesistating on making an appointment like this because you’re worried it will be awkward, Dr. Wolf is for you. On my first appointment we talked for more than an hour, and I left the office with the toolsI need to make positive changes immediately. Highly recommend.

I could not be happier with Megan. All of her reviews are spot on. Megan is incredibly knowledgeable and does an amazing job explaining things in layman terms. It is clear that she truly loves what she does. During our consultshe was patient, listened to all of my concerns, and provided me with invaluable information regarding my life style choices and what I need to do to make better dietary decisions. At the end of our meeting she gave me an entire meal plan which included a list of general guidelines to follow, proper portions for my weight, foods to eat and to avoid, and shopping tips. All of this was followed by an e-mail with shopping links and recipes. I will be back in three weeks for a follow-up. Thanks Megan!

Megan is the absolute best! First of all the appointment and paper work worked out great, very punctual and professional. And then her approach on weight loss and healthy eating is so very intelligent and practical. She proposed a reasonableplan and she worked with me to find ways to fit it in my overloaded schedule. She's very flexible and realistic and did her best to adjust her approach to my specific needs. It felt like a very individualized experience, rather than "that's the plan, now go do it". Not to mention that she's the sweetest thing and a delight to talk to! Non judgmental, very understanding and supportive. Needless to say I came back and I'll be back for as long as I need to. I can't recommend her enough.
