He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is board certified in pain medicine, and in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and he is board eligible with the American Board of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Slobasky currently holds medical licenses in Florida, Minnesota and Michigan. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz., in 2002. Dr. Slobasky’s postgraduate medical training includes a fellowship in interventional spine and pain medicine at Temple University Hospital/Mid Atlantic Spine in Philadelphia, and a residency in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital and Clincs/Moss Rehabilitation Hospital, during which he served as chief resident and clinical instructor for a period of one year. An expert in the field of interventional pain medicine, he has held numerous professional positions in this specialty. Additionally, he has made presentations on the subjects of medical acupuncture, electrodiagnostics, sports injuries and phantom limb pain, and contributed papers to medical journals on the topics of pain and rehabilitation. Dr. Slobasky is also a skilled skier, and an avid outdoor sports enthusiast.
