5/5 rating! I booked my scheduled appoinment on zocdoc. So convenient. I had my Annual Check up. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant. The Medical Assistant was very good and very patient with me asking my health background. As soon I was transfer to the other room. Less than 4 minutes, Doctor Elamir came. Dr. Elamir was very professional and was listening attentively to my health needs. Encouraged me to do some blood test and EKG(results was fast too). The Phlebotomist was very kind also & draws my blood with no pain! Amazing! Now, i got my results for the blood test. I will book again! Btw, the place was at the ground floor. No walk-ups needed. Overall he was a good doctor, but I didn’t like how 1. I had some important tests done and they refused to tell me the results over the phone, I couldn’t miss work again and was really anxious about these tests. & 2.They went my lab work to one of their labs that was not covered by my insurance and didn’t ask for my permission or inform me in any way. However, The PA who inquired about my medical history asked questions in a rapid-fire manner and didn’t take time to hear me out and write everything out completely. Sometimes it takes a big change in your life to happen for you to LOSE trust in someone... But it also takes a big change for you to TRUST someone and Dr Elamir is my greatest Trust as a Doctor. I was able to be open and honest with him.about my fears and goals of having a new doctor. Ive been in situations where if i even spoke on being "sad" depressed" or needing mental health help along side physical help and dr Elamir DELIVERED. He is so compassionate he listens he gives you full trust and confidentiality and any you think you need or want he doesnt just say "no" he doesn't disregard what you may think you need. So instead he listens he sets a plan and keeps his availability OPEN. He has great empathy and bedside manner is very personal he doesnt rush you or lock u in a waiting room for 10 min and then show up like "what can i do for you?" Imstead he greets you "hey how are you since last check up/in any new concerns? Or should we CONTIUE on the original problem you originally came for?" His staff.Uggghhh omg are theeeeee best!!! From beginning to the end of my visit everyone (except for one, see below) exhibited professionalism and care. Greeted by receptionist and she was so friendly and kind. Taken back to get vitals checked by nurse, professional but I felt rushed and like a bother to her, same when she had to do my EKG, like she was doing me a favor and not being paid to nice at all. This made me feel very sad. Seem by doctor Elamir and he was so kind and gentle. He’s patient and knowledgeable and actually listens to everything you’re saying. Bloodwork done by a nice phlebotomist and I enjoyed her small talk too. Finally said goodbye to receptionist at the end of my visit and she was patient when I had to tell her about my phone number changes and follow up for blood work result.
