Dr. Natasha Wallace, MD

Psychiatrist

Professional statement

I focus on treating mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. I am an empathetic practitioner and believe mental health wellness can be obtained through a healthy diet, exercise, self-care, and psychiatric care, using treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), which can be used as a conjunctive partner with medications. I appreciate the motivation of patients who are striving to get better and partner with me during treatment. I find great satisfaction in seeing the difference during and post treatment for my patients. For depressed patients, the lift they note when treatment is successful is very inspiring to me. I believe in treating patients as unique individuals who are valuable participants in the treatment planning. Our practice is Northern California's leading provider of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a highly effective, FDA-cleared, non-invasive therapy for patients who haven't responded to antidepressants and other treatments. We accept most major insurance plans. We have locations throughout Northern California.

One of those doctors that doesn't really listen and/or doesn't communicate very well. Her answers were almost reflexive and didn't reveal any real consideration for my concerns or my situation. I was hoping for a considered and careful analysisof my situation and concerns and be provided with some advice and a plan. Instead it was just standard and superficial advice which could be obtained from google and her answers were really shallow and not helpful. What is the point of consulting a professional if they don't bring any expertise?
