A kind, personable and compassionate surgeon Niral Patel is proud graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with further extensive residency training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He is trained in all major aspects of foot and ankle medicine including AO/ASIF oriented trauma surgery, reconstructive and sport injury surgery and lower extremity correction surgery. Aside from being taught at the world famous Rubin Institute Baltimore limb deformity course, he continues to remain up to date in the latest medical advancements in the field of foot and ankle surgery regularly attending scientific meetings and implementing the latest advancements into his practice. Dr. Patel has additional certifications in Hyperbaric medicine from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society as well as advanced wound care training and experience. Dr Patel is also a proud associate at DeLoor Podiatry. Our Doctors train and teach other doctors to practice podiatry. We specialize in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Patel was quick to evaluate and give me a list of the possible things that were going on. He gave very detailed explanations, so I didn’t feel lost and had an easy time understanding what he was saying. He was also very easy to talk to, and he answered any questions I might have had. I left with a solid, actionable plan for treating my condition. Overall, a very knowledgeable doctor I feel I can trust (feet are super important because we need to use them every day and can’t rest them like our hands or elbows), and I will definitely return if I need anything.

Dr. Patel was not available so I saw another doctor. It seems like either zocdoc or the office needs to fix some issues with scheduling since the doctor I booked is never available at that time. The wait was over 30 minutes, however the doctor who did eventually attend me was professional and I’m satisfied with his treatment.
I had an ingrown toenail and the doctor was very responsive to anytime I showed pain or discomfort during the procedure
