I won’t be coming back. I have seen dr. Okoli for many reasons and have not had one good visit. My wait is always over 2 hours. I have never given a bad review but I was tempted to after driving an hour to see him twice in one week and not being helped at all or getting any answers. The second time this week I didn’t even get to see him because the wait was 2 hours and I had to go to work.
Very poor communication especially with me being a new patient.. I would like for you to explain what your doing and why not just rush me off til next time..
When I got there they didn't even see my appointment on their end so i had to fill lout paperwork, all over again. Then the midwife did my pap smear and whiles she was doing it, the doctor walked in room and closed the door and did not knock or even apologize
Dr Okoli was RUDE, I tried explaining to him what symptoms I was experiencing and what the hospital had previously told me but he was just so unprofessional and rude all because he believes that I was "self diagnosing" myself but I was just trying to explain my health issues. I will NEVER go to back to his office nor will I ever refer anyone to him!
Very professional staff, willing to listen to my chief concern, the doctor and the staff was very welcoming , the bathroom in the lobby was extremely clean
My visit was fantastic. My needs were met. The staff was amazing!
The new office is great and has a better staff. He has made great improvements and I hope it stays this way.
This was the fastest dr. appointment ive been to. They were very accurate and kind.
He is a sweet man and very knowledgeable I got the treatment that I couldn't get from any other doctor. He too important precautions I didn't know should be taken during pregnancy and had I not visited him I would have never known
I love Dr Okoli. He is excellent and always very thorough. Very sweet, kind, and professional. He always makes me feel like he truly cares for me as his patient.
I really liked how thorough he was. I didnt feel rushed or like he didnt care. Im pleased with this Dr. On another note, i do feel that when they call the patients to confirm the appt they should provide them with the new addreas or at least ask if they know where the office is located to prevent any mix up.
Dr. Okoli was informative and very helpful. His staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Looking forward to my future appointments!
I was told that I needed to come back, I did. While I'm glad I got my results and didn't have to do anything today, 2 hours of my day was wasted because I never received a call with my results. And I didn't find this out until after being there for over and 1.5.
It was very hot in the office, and my wait felt like forever. He only spent a few minutes in the room with me. My problem is somewhat solved so guess I will keep going back for now.
I wold suggest that the exam be more private between the doctor and patient by not allowing the assistant to veiw. Again this is a private area not to be disclosed unless otherwise discussed.
I'll go back for sure. Very professional and explained everything he was going to do.
Will return ....
It took me about 20 minutes before they recognized me than nobody put me in the system. I felt rushed feeling out the paper work. Restrooms was filthy. Dr had no interest
I would recommend him if your about to have a baby . I came in with with pain due to my ovran cyst . his staff is very nice and helpful. I didn't like when I did my exam 2 women plus the doctor looking down their . I can understand the PA because she is learning but not the other Lady , I felt very uncomfortable. He did explained everything to me but I left in pain and he didn't really help me by saying he would wait to see what is on the ultrasound which will be week later leaving me in pain. I not sure if I will be returning .
The entire staff was very infomative and really nice. Had a few different things done in a short visit. Great people, nurses and doctor.
My visit was really good. Been a patient for years. Very satisfied.
Dr. was very friendly and helpful.
Office staff was terrible. The surgery was not on the schedule when they said it was. Had to go to hospital to pre-admit and took 2 hours to get the fax request and get all the pre-admit myself or would not have had surgery. Calling staff would never return my calls and the refund they owed me took four months and lots of calls.
The office did not have any of my information even though I filled everything out online. The other person in the waiting room told me she'd been waiting for over an hour. The office was not very clean or sanitary (there were soda bottles and other trash on the floor of the waiting room, there was no toilet paper on the roll in the bathroom, there were no sanitary wipes to use after giving a urine sample or after the pap). Everyone was friendly, but the Doctor only spent 5 minutes in the room with me and was on the phone for 2 of those minutes. The office is very conveniently located for me, but I can't imagine using them for the rest of my OBGYN care.
Not professional the staff and the place dirty, the trash can full of trash. the tests done in CARTON CUPS! not cover and all the test next to others.
It was a good visit
It was good but the wait time could be shorter
I had severe menstrual bleeding that would not stop and needed to be seen asap because I was scared. My GP couldn't see anyone for over a week, but I was able to get a same-day appointment at FACOG. Everyone said this place is great and the doctor is wonderful, but I had such a terrible experience, I haven't been able to work up the courage to go get my annual exam since. Dr. Okoli seemed bored at the consultation, talking to everyone but me. He refused to listen when I said I didn't need another ultrasound because I had the from one I had the previous week and just ordered one anyway. I even said my insurance wouldn't pay for it, but he acted as if I was invisible. Then he left the room, having ignored me. Due to the amount of bleeding I was experiencing, I was a bloody mess and left to clean myself up with only a few tissues provided. I left the practice in tears because I felt as if I was just tossed aside and not taken seriously.
He was very kind.
he is really nice man and he made me feel comfortable.. I really feel he knows what he is doing. I really appreciate appreciate his service.
When I got to the office the appearance was not appealing. Then the waiting room was jam packed. The office staff did not greet when I arrived. All you do is sign in and sit down and wait. After about 30 minutes I was called back but only took my weight and blood pressure then told to sit back in the waiting room. There was a second waiting room full in the back as well. Took about another hour to be seen by the doctor which only took about 10 minutes for the actual visit with the doctor. Not Goin back to this office and wouldn't recommend unless you live close to that side of town.
The office was cramped stuffy and a bit scary. The nurses were short & somewhat rude. I had an appointment at 3 but wasn't called until 330. Blood pressure and weight was taken then another wait. I didn't see the doctor until 445. It was a brief 20 questions game then he was gone. Looking for another doctor ASAP!
Very busy and a lot of children in the office. It was loud but the dr was great and told me what he was doing
The staff was friendly and the doctor was easy to talk to.
Figured out what was wrong which was great and got what I needed.
He wasn't very friendly and rushed me
The Doctor was very nice and intelligent. However, the rest of the visit was a disaster. Upon arrival to the hot and crowded waiting room (which felt like a DMV), the two-hour ordeal of mismanagement and ineptitude by the staff began. It is unfortunate that Dr. Okoli has such a mismanaged staff, as I would like to keep him as my OBGYN but am unsure whether I can devote half a day for every single appointment.
The staff was fast, efficient and very helpful. The doctor gave good recommendations and seemed very knowledgeable.
It was horrible ! I got there 15 min before my appointment time and didn't leave tell 11:30. When they finally took me to the back I was in and out within 5 min. No questions or concerns I had no communication what's so ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
He was very kind and very professional. Let you know everything that was going to happen before he was going to do it
The visit was fine and the nurses were great. However, I never received the necessary information needed to have a procedure done or the call to schedule the appointment for the necessary procedure. I had to find and take care of it myself with the assistance of my Nephrologist.
He is a great Dr. Listens well and asks a lot of questions. Throe gental. Christian. Told me to have a blessed day. Office staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Him and his staff were so wonderful and accepting. The ma's actually listened to you as well as the dr. I usually hate these places, but left feeling like I could and should come back for care. Bravo people!
The Physician was detained so I waited nearly 1 1/2 hours but his office staff was helpful, organized, professional and friendly. I was pleased that I didn't have to wait long to get in. Everything went smoothly with the entire process of using ZocDoc.
Nothing has ever been quick with this office. And I later got a huge bill, just to have a UTI checked. Not sure what that's about. Didn't have a good experience AT ALL.
It was great
I really liked Dr Okoli, I will admit that I went in with my guard up because I read some of the previous reviews but he was completely opposite from what a few people said. He answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed at all and I was actually very happy with the staff but this was the thousand Oaks office I'm not sure how the other locations are.
If I could give this establishment no stars I would. I cannot begin to explain the heartache and trouble that they put me through. I mentioned to the Doctor that I was experiencing extreme side effects from the birth control that they placed me on; his response was to push through it for another 3 months and see if my body adapts to it. I have never been told by a Doctor that I would have to push through the pain and suffering of birth control ever. It has been my experience with other practitioners that when I decide I no longer want to be on that form of birth control, they switch me to something else that may agree with me and my body more. This being said I was also waiting on results from a biopsy, since they told me I may have cancer, and was guaranteed a call back no matter what. I worked at a clinical office whose hours of business mirrored this offices, so it was hard for me to find time to be able to come in. I verified, verbally, after my biopsy that I would get a call back about the results. After 3 months of calling and trying to find out my results, I was finally told I had to schedule an appointment with the Doctor to be told anything. When I went in for the appointment (which was scheduled at 9:15am and I wasn't seen by a doctor till close to 11:30am) I was told that I was silly for even thinking that I would be called by the Doctor when there was nothing wrong. My biopsy was negative and I should have known that by the fact that they never reached out to me about it. I was appalled and left without making any further appointments. I guess I should have known when the Doctor was willing to answer phone calls in the middle of both my first appointment and my biopsy, without even walking out of the room or stopping the procedure, I should have known that I was in trouble. I will never be returning and I hope that anyone with sense never even steps foot in this horrid place.
Very unprofessional and very unorganized staff!
I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Okoli was very informative and did not rush me at all I had quite a few questions and he was very patient and answered all of them. My previous doctor was always very rushed and tried to make as little conversation as possible and rushed out asap. Dr. Okoli seems like a very nice man and funny as well. He seems very knowledgeable on the latest procedures and very thorough. I will be going back. Office staff was very nice as well.
Thorough, very professional & able to relate to the health problem. Excellent listening skills.
I've never had a bad experience at this office. I enjoyed having Dr. Okoli as my OB especially during my first pregnancy. He is very thorough and very patient. He also has a sense of humor!
Great doctor go to his main office the walzem office is rowdy
Very professional but loooong wait time. Would recommend!
