He was nice and pretty professional. I talked about my adult-ADD and he gave me an article he wrote about howto help manage symptoms. At my second appointment with him, he talked about how sometimes adults will want to do more than they can normally do so they try taking medication to help. It seemed to me that he was basically telling me that he doesn't think I actually have adult-ADD and I'm just looking for medication to help me work better, or get more done. That is not the case, I've been dealing with ADD all my life, I have family history, and he didn't even offer to test me.

Dr. Paul is young, energetic, personable yet deeply committed providing top notch care. I trust what he says as I can see the sincerity when he speaks to me. Fantastic addition to Georgia Behavioral Science.

Appt was short and to the point, but allowed me to express everything I needed to. Very optimistic about the new medication and before I left he assured me that everything was going to be ok and that he would findout what was wrong and make it better. Genuine, nonjudgmental, reassuring. Highly highly highly recommend!

He rushes you, he doesn’t do a intake assessment all he does is rush you so you can not get any of your problems out. Shoots out a prescription makes you pay a big copay and you’re out of there. I won’t be going back.

I thought I had scheduled an appointment to speak with a therapist, not a psychiatrist. I also scheduled an appointment with a female. The appointment was changed by the office through Zocdoc. Dr. Paul was cold and very detached. All hedid was ask me questions and enter notes in the computer. He rarely even stopped long enough to make eye contact. He said I would need to come back to talk to a therapist. I couldn’t get an appointment with a therapist for another two weeks. I really needed to talk to someone today. All I got today was a prescription for the same medication I’m already taking. He even said “no medication is going to fix your problem”.

Dr. Paul was good but I would not make an effort to go back and see him just because the wait time and organization of the facility was such a bad experience. It took the facility over a week to return a phone call regarding my medication.
