She was a Fuld Fellow for Social Responsibility at Emory University School of Nursing, a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and a recipient of the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. In Her Own Words "I'm a pediatric nurse practitioner, and caring for children is my calling. My approach is rooted in treating the whole child, with equal attention to both physical and mental health. Whether I'm caring for a newborn or a teenager, my goal is to create a space that feels comfortable, inclusive, and safe for every family who walks through our doors. I stay current with the latest evidence and scientific research because delivering high-quality care requires a commitment to lifelong learning. What I love most is building relationships. Being a trusted partner in a child's journey—from their earliest days through adolescence—is a responsibility and privilege that I take great pride in." Vaccination Policy at Bluebird Kids As pediatric clinicians—and parents ourselves—we strongly believe in preventive medicine and recognize vaccinations as safe, effective, and essential for preventing serious illness, suffering, and even death. We recommend that all patients follow the vaccination schedule established by the American Academy of Pediatrics, which is the same schedule followed by our own children. We are happy to work with families who have questions about vaccines and would like to learn more, provided they meet our minimum vaccination requirements (school vaccination schedule). If parents choose not to vaccinate their children at all, we respectfully recommend seeking care from a pediatric practice whose approach is more closely aligned with their preferences and beliefs.
