Dr. Pradeep Penta graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas-Southwestern in his hometown of Dallas, TX. Dr. Penta subsequently completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at SUNY Upstate Medical center in Syracuse, New York, and a fellowship in Spine and Sports Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
He is board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the International Spine Intervention Society.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Penta treats a variety of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions including, but not limited to, low back pain, neck pain, joint pain, sports-related injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, and workers compensation injuries.
He performs various injections for pain relief including spinal epidurals injections, facet blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral joint injections, tendon sheath injections, occipital nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
