I've never tried acupuncture before, but I was very impressed! Lotus was able to see that certain items were lacking from my diet, just based on our time together. I was also able to text her after to ask a question and she sent back a few recommendations for what to start eating. I'm looking forward to going back for my next session!

Lotus Huang, L.Ac. MSTOM is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certificated Chinese Herbalist, and NCCAOM Diplomat of Oriental Medicine. She is graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, studying both Chinese and Western medicine. She completed an Internship at The Mount Sinai Hospital Acupuncture Clinic, specializing in treating patients with cancer, and its side effects. She completed her second internship at NYU Hospital (IWD) Initiative for Women with Disabilities. Lotus specializes in combining classical Chinese medicine with Quantum medicine to treat musculoskeletal conditions, weight loss, facial rejuvenation, insomnia, anxiety, depression. In addition to acupuncture pain relief, she specializes in fertility support, woman’s health, men's health, and general health. She is studying PHD of integrate natural medicine doctor in Quantum University and own the certification of Quantum healer and Quantum Doctor. Lotus's approach is creative and intuitive with skillful acupuncture, most time you have the instance improvement without noticing the needles.

My back pain was significantly relieved after the combination of different treatment, accupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, etc., in short term. The stiffness of the muscle was also relieved. I know in long term, good habits and exercise are the key, but such treatment is helpful!

Lotus is amazing and really knows what she is doing. I had almost a full spinal fusion surgery to correct my scoliosis and for 7 months, my neck and shoulder muscle was in so much pain. It felt like I slept badly on a plane, except for 7 MONTHS. Every time I yawned, it would pull my neck muscle and this pain would just radiate. Originally, I went to PT and they did a lot of shoulder mobility exercises and neck stretches, but it just was not helping.
I've gone to Lotus 4x now (scheduled for 2-3x a week) and the RELIEF was almost immediate! The first time, it lasted 3 hours and the pain would come back and then after the 3rd time, she doubled down on SLIDING CUPPING which was MIRACULOUS. I yawned that night and was so surprised that I didn't feel the muscle pull!! It's been 7 months of dreading getting sleepy, but now there's light at the end of the tunnel.

This was my first ever acupuncture visit so I wasn't too sure what to expect and even now not too sure how to rate it. However I wouldn't say it was a satisfying experience. For one Dr. Huang did not ask me anything about the nature of my pain (where it hurts, intensity, how long). Once I was on the table and she was inserting needles she asked me which shoulder was hurting more and after the treatment asked how long I have had the issue. She started the session with cupping without telling me ahead of time that this is what she was going to do or what the treatment can do for me. During the actual acupuncture session my left hand got very numb to the point that I was extremely uncomfortable. When I communicated it to Dr. Huang she suggested I relax and sleep :) I gotta say for the rest of the day I was in a very good mood which is probably a side effect of acupuncture, however I didn't feel much of a pain relief (although I can imagine one session may not be enough). All in all I may give acupuncture another chance but probably not with Dr. Huang.

My first ever acupuncture experience was smooth and pleasant. Located in a small, private office - I was the only patient in a private room. Lotus listened to my complaints, provided dietary/lifestyle advice followed by a very relaxing acupuncture session complete with chakra stones along with her healing touch. I'm not sure what to expect going forward, but I will definitely continue my treatment with Lotus.

My first initial visit with Lotus was for Acupuncture. I did not know what to expect with my painful sprained foot and ankle. I had not taken a step without pain the past four weeks and constant swelling. The attentiveness and care from Lotus from the moment I sat down for an initial consultation, to how gentle she was with the Acupuncture needles and then carefully applying the heat from the Moxa, was great. Acupuncture I knew about, but Moxa was something I had not know about, but together heat from the Moxa and the Acupuncture both helped reduce the pain and swelling during the treatment within a short time. I was amazed really. It was a very relaxing experience and more importantly my swelling is gone and I was able to get back to work without pain. I know sprains take time, but now I have Lotus and her magic touch to expedite the healing! Thank you Lotus!!
