Patient reviews for Dr. Raj D Patel
Dr Patel takes his time and listens to everything I have to say..He is definitely easy to talk to!
Quick and painless! He seemed very attentive and listened to all of my concerns.
"I was beyond impressed with my experience at this doctor’s office. My first contact with the staff, I was completely blown away by how helpful, kind and how fast I got a response back to me! A lot of doctors don’t realize how important it is to have administration. The first point of contact is crucial! Now on to the visit… Due to snow and traffic I was running a little late for my appointment.. When I called to notify them about my current status I was expecting something different but they acknowledge and understood the situation and they made me feel very comfortable throughout the appointment! I would highly recommend this medical group!”
The check-in process was unnecessarily long. It was digital and the receptionist didn't bother going over how to use their device. I'm very well acquainted with smartphones and technology, but I had never seen this device before. It would have been helpful to give a quick run-down on how to use it. After a half hour check-in process, I still had to wait another half hour. When I was finally called back, I sat in the examination room for another 10 minutes before a physician's assistant comes in and proceeds to ask me every single question that I had just painstakenly filled out during check-in. From my experience, doctors always glance at the information you've provided before speaking with a patient. This was definitely not the case. The physician's assistant was the person that conducted the whole exam, besides the kind lady who drew some blood samples for testing. Finally, as I was sitting there getting my blood drawn, Dr. Patel walked over, casually asked me why I was getting surgery and where I was getting it done, then walked away. The only interaction I had with him the entire time I was there for an appointment scheduled WITH HIM. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
I don't have time for this doctor. After getting to the office and completing their paperwork (via electronic tablet), it took another 1/2 an hour to see the doctor (over an hour wait from arriving to the time i was brought into an exam room). Even when in the exam room I had to wait longer before the doctor could see me. Another doctor came in to help me while I waited on Dr Patel, but this doctor had no bedside manner at all. He would ask a question then after I responded only silence for 1-2 minutes while he thought of the next question. When it came time to see the actual doctor (I had come in to inquire about a new medication / establish a new primary care physician), the interaction was extremely rushed. I was told "ok" on the new prescription and asked what pharmacy I wanted it sent to. There was no "consultation" or review from the doctor on what to expect / what would be abnormal on the new medication, nothing. In addition, I have other prescriptions which are handled by a psychiatrist which I told the doctor that I wanted to continue to see the psychiatrist for. The doctor told me that "The insurance company prefers me to see only one doctor". I know this is not true due to the medications I am on. I feel that allowing this doctor to manage these medications with no consultation at all is dangerous. To top it off, when I went to the pharmacy to pick up the new prescription I was given two prescriptions by the pharmacy. Not only was I given the prescription I asked for, but I was prescribed a new anti-anxiety medication which I did not even request. I feel that this doctor is too busy and the resulting errors are dangerous. I will not be going back.
The visit was good...
Always a pleasure to see Dr. Patel!
Dr. Patel was professional, however i saw him for less than 5 mins when i had my physical. His assistant did most of the note taking and consultation. It seemed like they had a lot of traffic when i visited so Dr. Patel left most of the tasks for his assistant. Be sure to not pay co-pay if your insurance covers that for you.
Very helpful and informative.
Met with Dr Ritesh PATEL. Great guy very thorough.
It was nice but more then Doctors visit I really appreciate Zocdoc app it's so good and easy to use. This was my first time using Zocdoc and it's too cool. I would recommend my family and friends to use it.
nice office, friendly staff and very knowledgeable doctor! I waited for 30min until the doctor came see me, other than that great!
He is a very nice doctor.
Overall outstanding experience. Addressed all concerns through an excellent bedside manner. I did not have to wait long whatsoever and the sign in process is very efficient. Setting up an appointment was extremely smooth as well, Highly recommended.
They should add someone to help at the front desk. The young lady there was great but couldn't handle all the phone and walk in traffic. They could also pay to have the office cleaned. Not filthy but left a bad impression. They didn't have the information I had already put into ZocDoc so I'm not sure what the advantage to doing it is. These are small items and would improve service but I'll go back because they are so very helpful and concerned!
He a very good MD doctor to have
As always, enjoyable!
I was very impressed by both Dr. Ritesh Patel & Dr. Raj Patel, so much so that I switched to them for my primary care doctors. I met both doctors when I was inpatient for a week @ St.Alexis. I was impressed by both their knowledge about my specific health needs and their bedside manner. I appreciate doctors who are on top of new finds in the medical field. My specific issues occur in less than 4% of the population, yet both doctors were right on top of them!
Everyone was very friendly. Dr Patel did not rush through our visit. I will definitely be going back. Just found my new Doctor.
Dr. did not even address one of my symptoms I came in for, & then nobody returned my two phone calls inquiring about the symptom he forgot about. Nobody let me know that my lab results were in.
Good people and good dr.
Very relaxing I usually get very nervous at Dr.s but he was patient. I have no problem going back. I'm happy with my new Dr. Raj Patal.
He listened thoroughly to my issues and addressed my needs.
He is professional, respectful, answer all questions in manners and right solution. He is a great doctor
He is very kind and takes the time to talk to you. I am very happy to have found a doctor who cares to take the time to listen and not rush to the next patient.
Excellent experience, detail examination and quick solution from him.......can't think enough.....
Always a pleasure to see a Doctor who's always smiling!
For my first visit, he was very nice and helped me too relax. His bedside manner was excellent and not intimidating. I felt very cfortable with him
He is very professional, a very good listener, took some time in asking me about the reason why I need to see a Doctor. I highly recommend him as a primary MD.More power to his profession.
Very nice and professional !!
