Very thorough, I saw 4 different people in my visit, they checked everything. Wish they gave me more information on exactly what they were checking, but at least it gave me peace of mind that they were making sure everything was okay as it was my first cardiologist appointment!

I scheduled my appointment for 9:30am, and I arrived 5 minutes early. I waited until 10:15 after watching several people go in before me and asked the receptionist when I could expect to be seen, since my appointment was scheduled for9:30am. She said that my appointment was at 10am and that someone would call me shortly. She said that it had been changed -- and I was never notified. When I finally got called in, Dr. Schafer wasn't available immediately, so I ended up talking to about 4 different people before I actually got to talk to him. They were very attentive and listened to all of my symptoms and I believe carried out all of the normal tests. However, by the end of the appointment, since everything came back normal, I didn't feel as though they had addressed a cause for my symptoms and just recommended that I go see another type of doctor. They didn't recommend anyone. All in all, the bedside manner was great. But the wait time / mix up / lack of clarity on a diagnosis would prevent me from coming back.

Very kind, realistic , and thoughtful. Dr Schafer made sure to check my insurance covered an echo before ordering it which took extra time out of his day but made a huge difference for me.
