Robert is extremely knowledgeable, and started up right away with a range of tests for heart and general health. I like to get a lot of information right away, which is exactly what I got: I described many issues I had been experiencing, and Robert was able to explain all of them, with reference to my tests for the blood pressure related issues I went to check up for. Had to wait a bit to see him, once initial tests were done, but not an important complaint given the above.
Definitely an old school doctor. Looks as though none of the equipment has been updated since the 60s. Then was surprised to receive a large bill for my routine physical. Granted, I signed a document saying it's ok if my insurance didn't cover everything, I was still quite surprised at some of the charges for a healthy physical. I will not be returning to this doctor and will instead find someone a bit more modern who will give actual medical advice instead of eat a bowl of bran flakes and do 20 sit ups.

Always a pleasant experience- from a super short wait time (under 5 minutes) to pleasant front desk folks and the nurses are fabulous...And Dr. Thompson is top notch!
I really value doctors that take time to speak with you before putting you on a table. Dr. Thompson has a great staff and office, I didn't wait too long after arriving for my appoint, and he actually privided a consultation before the exam so that we could review my medical history and concern. This is old school professionalism.

Perhaps one of the finest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting/having as PCP... Extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions, made time to discuss a number of things and didn't feel rushed by any means. Worst experience, ever. I am in shock as to how unprofessional this experience was. We were seen fairly quickly, but after explaining the symptoms experiencing (which my wife and i are very concerned about), not many questions were asked by dr, followed by a very brief exam, and then dismissed and pushed out the door with no follow up. It’s very disheartening when you feel like and express that you feel like something is wrong with you to only be disregarded because you are a “healthy 38 year old” and couldn’t possibly have something serious wrong or cancer. I’m not one to complain or go to the dr, but something is wrong with me. It was as if he didn’t care or had an afternoon T time... he made me and my wife feel hopeless when we were so hopeful to see him.

I’ve seen Doc Thompson for three years now and am completely and utterly satisfied. Find a good doctor who has genuine concern for your wellbeing, listens to your concerns and goals, and doesn’t rush you in and out of appointments can be difficult to find, and I’ve found all of those in Doc Thompson. Not only that but the office gals are always wonderful, as well as the nurse. I always feel welcomed and accommodated!

Dr Robert G. Thompson immediately diagnosed & prescribed me medicine based on the first few things that I said. It seemed that he was very solutions driven and not very willing to dive into the problem. For that reason I cannot recommend him to anyone. When I'm going to a doctor I want him to dive deep into the problem with me and not latch onto the first thing he hears that matches some pattern.
My first choice in doctors, who wants to wait in a gnarly waiting room when you can come here and wait in their super nice waiting room that doesn't make me feel like I'm in a petri dish.

A doctor that practices what he preaches... He's in good physical shape! A very good listener, he never rushes me through my appointment. He is more knowledgeable about my condition than I am and shows genuine care and compassion toward me even though he must have a hundred patients with the exact same symptoms. I have no doubts that other patients feel the same way about him.
