This was my first visit - I was referred by my trainer after experiencing persistent knee pain. I was seen byDr. Sandmeier, sent downstairs for xrays, and then met with him one more time to review the xray and review the diagnosis and recommendations. All in less than an hour! Dr. Sandmeier and the staff at Portland Clinic were friendly, professional, and efficient.

Dr. Sandmeier gave good info, immediate relief for my injury, and was a straight shooter about the long term effects and what I could expect as I moved into the future. I appreciated his sympathetic, yet direct approach.

He was refreshing, kind and straight to the point with all of the topics explained in a clear way. He was engaging with my daughter and made us both feel comfortable and thoroughly checked out for her knee injury. I appreciated his realistic and down to earth demeanor.

He was good and very knowledgeable, but I wish we had spent more time on my medical history and knee condition leading up to the reason for the visit. I expect the doc to ask a lot more questions, because Ican't remember every single thing I want to report or ask. That seems to be true of most every medical provider these days.
