She was very professional and very patient when I was trying to explain my concerns.
Dr. Jenkins listened to my numerous issues and put me at ease. She explained everything and was courteous.
He was pleasant and diagnosed me quickly and efficiently.
Overall the new patient process was not painful, just requiring a basic history. I then waited about 20 minutes for a doctor that essentially told me he really couldn't do anything but give me a recommendation to an orthopedic. I realize this is now common practice, but even after explaining my issue the doctor did not even touch my knee.
terrific guy, very nice and thoughtful
Dr. Cook was very personable and helpful! Highly recommend for a primary care doctor.
Dr. Rodgers Cook was not available for my appointment. However, another doctor was able to see me. But they should have informed me he wouldn't be available before my arrival.
Had an appointment at 4:15 and didn't see the doctor until 5:15.
Everything was very efficient and he seemed very caring.
I was actually seen early and the doctor was very pleased to hear the treatment was working
Awesome! They listen and take the time to discuss.
He answered all of my questions. The best doctor I have ever seen.
Very personable and attentive, listened carefully and explained things clearly. It was a short appointment, but I feel that everything was covered adequately and he would have been willing to stay longer if needed. Definitely coming back.
Dr Cook seems to be a good doctor I will go back
Dr. Cook is a great Doctor. He is always very friendly, thorough, and willing to answer my questions without judgement. Would definitely recommend him to anybody seeking a primary physician.
Doctor Cook was good, however the environment, atmosphere and support staff was less than pleasant, I would recommend this doctor but not at this location.
I walked in during a period when no one was seeing patients. I'd already downloaded the forms, scanned my ID and insurance. Made things a lot easier! Pretty sure the first thing I said was "I dont like waiting!". As if on cue, a swarm of people came to my side, and within minutes I was being seen by the most professional (and handsome) nurse practitioner/med student, Mr. Abdul. Afterwards, Dr. Cook came in to finish and write my prescription. As a new patient, this worked out great! Nice facility, nice staff and no wait time!!! For future visits, I'll make sure I go when no one else does!! Makes a difference!! Again, I don't like waiting!!!
I got there about 12 minutes early and was seen right at my appointment time. So, yes, I had to wait but not longer than scheduled. The Alexandria Location was very very clean and bright. Dr. Cook was amazing to work with again.
He was friendly and listened well but seemed in a bit of a rush. Overall great!
Dr. Cook is a very charismatic guy and projects his voice well, this helps because I can be hard of hearing, but that is not why I went to see him. I am a young patient who was having issues digesting and he was very sympathetic to my concerns and always made sure he explained things in terms the patient can understand. We had a very similar personality and he really is a pragmatic person, trying to get to the root of the issue and gives referrals/medicines when needed. I have always left his office with a smile on my face and satisfied with my next steps. I have now put him as my main PCP because of the convenient hours (works weekends and afternoons).
Dr. Cook was fantastic. He was so friendly, listened to my concerns, and made me feel so much better. While I had a negative experience with the office on Monday (they lost my appointment which I needed pretty badly and refused to help me or apologize) Dr. Cook was apologetic! No one at the front desk apologized to me for something that was THEIR fault except for Dr. Cook. I wasn't going to go back after that experience, but Dr. Cook redeemed the office and I will now only see him.
Very friendly and open.
I did not have to wait for more than 5 minutes before being seen and Dr. Cook was very nice and professional.
Came in with flu-like symptoms, doctor gave me a prescription that cured me as well as made great recommendations for other doctors for issues I'm dealing with!
He was very kind and listened to my concerns. Nursing staff was also very friendly. I waited only a maximum of 15 min before he came into the exam room.
Dr Cook and his PA were great. The nurses & front desk were pleasant, too.
My appointment with Dr. Cook was great. I went to see him for some general health issues I was having. Originally, I was concerned about whether or not it was appropriate to see him given that the facility is also for urgent care, but that didn't turn out to be an issue as it's also a primary care facility. I was seen quickly and the offices were new and clean. Dr. Cook listened to what I had to say, asked follow-up questions about what I was experiencing, and was very pleasant to visit with. He will be my primary care doctor moving forward.
Dr. Cook has such a wonderful bedside manner. I usually dread any and all doctor visits, but I can honestly say I was completely at ease within the first minute of our appointment. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Cook was great. Very helpful - provided immediate relief (minor procedure conducted). Also, he did a good job educating me about what was going on and what to look out for in the future.
He saw me quickly and was very honest and helpful with his knowledge
He is very nice and he took the time to listen to my concerns and explained things very well. I didn't like the location so much but it was a good experience.
Great doctor! Makes you understand everything clean and clear. Highly recommended.
First time there, will be going again.
Thumbs up! I'll preface by saying I work in healthcare, travel a lot, and am frequently disappointed with what I see. Dr. Cook was most helpful with my not simple situation. I'm new in the area & glad I happened upon a personable and competent Dr.
Dr. Cook was very nice and personable. His bedside manner is comforting. I'll probably make him my Prinary Care physician.
Absolute perfection in this office! Super fast, super nice and super efficient! Dr.Cook is friendly, nice and very helpful. Best doc I've been to in years. Highly recommend. Enough said!
I don't think I should go on a weekend again. It took a while to be seen, and the staff was some friendly and some very average, a mixed feeling. I was not told to fast so I could not get the proper blood work done and had to return for a second visit, which was inconvenient. When I did get the blood work, the needle was really jammed around, which caused me to pass out, and I am not usually too bad with needles (never like that, anyway). I'll try again on a weekday for my next appointment before transferring to a new office. The actual treatment/procedures were all perfectly fine otherwise, and the doctor/nurse were both helpful in answering questions.
He was friendly and happy to help with my issue. The Doc seemed like he really wanted to figure out the most cost effective ways and did. Thanks
Great all around experience from appointment to care. Don't get sick but if you do go to Zoc Doc and Dr. Cook.
Dr. Cook was a very genuine, kind doctor to visit. It was my first time with him, and he was eager to help me. There was a little bit of a wait time, but given that their computer system had gone down, it was completely understandable. The medical staff assisting Dr. Cook was also very pleasant.
Dr Cook is great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly Recommend him as a Primary Care Dr
Dr. Cook is going to be my new primary care doctor.
I think the doctor treated me well at the office. He was nice to check me up and wrote me the prescription. The problem is that when I brought the prescription to CVS pharmacy, I was told that the prescription was wrong and the medicine is no longer produced. CVS called the doctor's office and informed me that because it is a strict prescription, they could not change over the phone or through electric copy. I called the doctor's office and was advised that I should have the pharmacy call to the doctor (which they did but the receptionist told me that no one called to the office for my case). I checked with her if my husband can pass by to pick up the new prescription because I have go to work and she said " yes, but preferably after 2PM". My husband passed by the office and was told that he could not pick up on my behalf due to some rules... (what's happening in this world, do we have nothing to do except going around to pick up the prescription). Then, my husband told them to send the electronic prescription to CVS so we can pick up when I am back from work. I was so careful and called the doctor's office again...and you know what, I was put on hold and then they told me to pass by the office to pick it up (again???) or the doctor suggest I try the medication over the counter (which I did and the cough was still there, that's why I had to see the doctor to have the prescription!!!). I was so angry and told them that I have no time to pass by the office just to pick up the prescription and after that, she told me that the doctor will send the prescription to CVS and I can pick it up in 1 hour. Don't know if there is the prescription for me to pick up or not but I am so upset. How unprofessional working style it is!!! I will never come back again.
He was friendly and compassionate.
It was ok. I was called in exactly at my appointment time and the nurse took weight/blood pressure and stuff before showing me to a room with a "the dr will be in shortly". 40 minutes later, the dr comes by for what turns out to be a 10-15 minute appointment. A little disconcerted that as I waited in the room I could hear dr cook's conversations with other patients either because he speaks very loudly or the walls are thin.
Doctor Cook and his staff were all very polite and helpful, even making sure that I could see him at their other office location on the day I needed to make my appointment. They went so far as to write the address and phone number down for me, as well. Doctor Cook himself was very helpful and accurate. He didn't waste any time telling me what I'd need to feel better, but was very kind and empathetic in his diagnosis. He was also genuinely pleased to see and speak with me the entire visit.
