Qualifications and Experience
Dr. Roger DiRuggiero, medical director of Omni-Med, has been practicing in the community for over 25 years. Dr DiRuggiero received his training at Columbia University affiliated programs, having trained at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Morristown Memorial Hospital. He has a special interest in cosmetic medicine, which lead to his cosmetic practice - Laser Skin Aesthetics.
Laser Skin Aesthetics was established in response to a growing general awareness of the rapidly expanding capabilities of Laser Light. In addition to this advanced technology we have also introduced the state of the art skin care therapy known as Particle Skin Resurfacing or "Derma Peel". Now patients can have Laser and Particle Skin Resurfacing services in a familiar atmosphere, performed by a doctor they know and trust.

I am feeling 100% better after visiting DR. DiRuggiero. I have a dog running business and was out the next day running and feeling like Superwoman. Book online, no waiting, feeling better. What's not to like about that?
The receptionist and front office staff is very welcoming, courteous and professional. The nurse was also very friendly and efficient and asked extensive questions in a way that allowed the patient to feel comfortable.
The down side of the visit was that I had to fill out paper work that I purposely filled out online the night before. They were having problems accessing the online information.
Been here before -- will definitely come back again.
I already sent my information online to my doctor's office and I wated around one hour befor seen the doctors. Also the nurse asked me " what is the problems?" I told her just I want to make full check up! Then she sade you have to be fast!!! And make anothe appointment!!! No anyone told me that when I comfier my appointment. Really, I lost my time for nothing!!!
I found the staff extremely friendly and would certainly come back again. I found the PA who saw me EXCELLENT! She was extremely knowledgable and diagnosed my issue easily--putting my mind at ease and eliminating the need for an xray that I thought I would need. My only negative comment was that I had made an appointment online--which was confirmed to my cell phone that morning. I got to the office at 8:20 for an 8:30 appt so that I could get to work. There was no record of the appointment. I wasn't seen until after 9 and was, of course, later for work than I anticipated. Having said that--it's my only negative issue with the experience--and I find it far more important that the care was great.
Wonderful! I'm always weary about the "No appointment" offices but Omni Med is the best! I have brought my children to Dr. Diruggiero before and would do it again. He is so convenient to my work and he seems to be very knowlegeable with a wonderful bedside manner. Would highly recomment both doc and the office.
Very professional and well organized
Pleasant and friendly staff.
First, a PA came in to see me and when I told her I paid a co-pay to see a doctor not a PA, she rolled her eyes and stormed out of the room slamming the door. When the doctor came in he berated me for asking to see a doctor mocking how I told the PA I paid a co-pay to see him. The experience left me speechless, how dare I ask to see a doctor... Paying for a doctor visit and only seeing an inexperienced PA is ridiculous. Awful experience. Doctor & staff are sleazy & rude.
Dr. DiRuggiero was extremely friendly and conversational. The staff was friendly and the appointment went smoothly.
He was professional, friendly and interested in helping
Hands down, Dr. D is the best personal care physician I have ever had. I was foolish not to have chosen him sooner given my years of positive experiences with his urgent care facility, where all of the MDs are fantastic.
My doctor Pat was a great guy and I feel like I am in better hands than my normal family doctor. Im really glad I went.
Friendly and professional!
Great doctor - rude staff!
Only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seen and only a few once in the room!
compasionate, professional, complete
Very good experience - i would recommend him and the service to my friends and family!
yes, i was 25 mins late, which can happen at 8.30 am, but i do not need a lecture on how to get to his office - afterwards. that i had to wait in the room for 30 mins for the doctor i can even understand since i was late, but once he finally showed up: - didn't introduce himself, did not seem to care about me as a patient. did not ask on why i actually came in. but the most disturbing part was the cold way he explained a stroke, knowing my mom just had passed away 2 months ago. no a change of tone - meanwhile i was tearing up. i am working too hard and i am paying too much for health insurance then to have a person yet alone my primary care doctor treat me like that.
