I saw this Doctor once and the visit was unsatisfactory I’d say. Seemed like he didn’t want to complete the original job which would’ve saved me a lot of time. I had to make a follow up appointment because of this.Today, I went to the office for the same time next time, and I waited for about 20 minutes. Nobody came to me to tell me I’d be waiting that long, nobody called me ahead of time to tell me Hammerman would be working late with another patient, nothing. I’ve never been to a healthcare facility that was so utterly discourteous and unprofessional. Next time you make a patient wait that long or can’t see them as scheduled, the office should have the decency to call that person. I have an extremely busy schedule and this wasted so much of my time. I won’t be coming back.

Dr. Hammerman was the only Dermatologist that I saw that didn't make me feel like crying after my visit. He designed a plan that we both felt comfortable with and IT WORKED!! and when I needed to come back for somepersistent flare-ups his staff accommodated me the same day. The assistants are also great. I'm very grateful and as my skin needs change, I know my dermatologist won't.

In the beginning I was treated fairly nice after and my skin was checked this second visit I felt as if I was rushed out the office. It felt like I was disturbing someone at their home. I need a new dermatologist where I will feel more welcomed.

Scott lacks all proper bedside manner, both in professionalism and courtesy. He was brash and displayed no semblance of concern. I had several questions that were met with judgement and a pretentiousness that was unnecessary--clearly, heis the professional and I am not and still I did not feel welcome to ask questions. I left feeling uncomfortable and unnerved. The receptionist was the only redeeming moment of my experience.

I used to go to this office because is very close to my office, and Dr. Lotika was always excellent, unfotunately she is working in Long island now, she was always very professional, and take the time to explain any concern.I made an appointment with Dr. Hammerman and I did not like it, looks that did not have the time to see my Medical Record, because of the questions, and looks like was in a rush. I hate when doctors check their cell phones, and he did it!! I have to see him in one month as his recommendation, but I believe that will find another dermatologist.

It was a really nice experience. Everyone is super friendly and willing to help. I literally waited 3 minutes, it was great. The girls at the front desk were really nice. Also the doctor and her assistant were super helpful andhelped me with my allergy. Definitely recommend this place, great professionals and great people working there

My sense is that this group is about the cosmetic stuff ... Botox and whatnot. I went in for another reason nearly 3 months ago ... real dermatology stuff .... and am still waiting for results. And this is after havinghad a second appointment, the sole purpose of which was to get results! So now I have to pay for 2 appointments. And the second one was literally the doctor looking and saying “looks like it’s getting better.” Geez! Thanks! Never could have determined that on my own. Now I receive a bill from Quest which is super annoying since no one ever told me that the sample was being sent offsite and I have no results! I cannot recommend this place.

Satisfactory bedside manner only because the visit was... unimpressive. He definitely listened and asked the required questions but beyond that there was little awareness for the impact his diagnose left. I left feeling that my health riskwas less profitable than the Botox and filler appt after me. ... idk. He was nice, I just don’t think I did my research correctly.

Was thorough and conscientious; and he was good at addressing my concern. However, he lacked a friendliness for me being a first-time patient. Perhaps a smile would have been a better way to connect.

1) the receptionist is unfriendly. They make you wait without telling you how long and what for. 2) the treatment is useless. My skin got hypersensitive afterwards. Now it looks as bad as before the treatment. 3) they convinced you topay upfront by saying they already check with your insurance until later you realize they didn’t. They just want you to pay.

Dr. Hammerman was quick and I didn't have to wait long (I never do at this office) but his bedside manner was nonexistent and he didn't explain at all what he was doing or anything about follow up care for myprocedure. I usually see Dr. Singh at this practice and will continue to see her going forward.

I am a new patient and have now seen Dr. Hammerman twice. I was having a lot of trouble finding a dermatologist who both accepts my insurance and whom I would not have to wait weeks to get an appointment with.I had no trouble getting an appointment and he saw me both times with minimal wait time. Dr. Hammerman immediately diagnosed a skin issue I have. He was very helpful referring me to a plastic surgeon in the same practice to have a cyst removed from my scalp. The office and staff are all very pleasant and professional. I am happy to have found Dr. Hammerman.

He seems like a nice enough guy but I didn't get a follow-up call on the mole he removed. He also didn't follow-up on previous lab result he offered to review and he did not. He seemed rather embarrassed and rushedwhen he saw me. I've had good experiences here before but this one does not count as one of the good ones.

He treated me 100% with my first problem several months ago. I hope he treats this one 100% as well. He definitely seems extremely knowledgeable. He doesn't promise me unrealistic results, which is something I respect. He also doesn't marketa million different products to make a quick buck. I think he truly cares about his patients and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good dermatologist.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with my experience. I had never been to a dermatologist before and was excited for my first visit! I went in for a skin cancer screening because I have never had one. They were very dismissive. Thereceptionist was rude, the PA only engaged with me when she realized I was from a place she was soon to be moving to, and I was under the impression another person was going to do my exam. I waited almost an hour for the Dr. to look at me for MAYBE 2 minutes. This office seems to be very COSMETIC focus. Maybe I am at fault because I wanted more of a general/medical consultation. Since I was not purchasing any cosmetic services I felt as though I was being dismissed. Note that you should not write someone off just because they are coming in for a simple screening. I was hopeful to make this my primary Dermatologist and I was in fact interested in exploring services such as laser hair removal, and establishing a skincare regiment. I know very little about the care of your skin and Dermatologists, especially with new patients who state they've never seen a Dermatologist before, should try to get to know what concerns are to possibly acquire a new patient.
