About Dr. Sierra Fisher
Dr. Fisher grew up in a military family moving all around the country, but claims San Antonio as her hometown. She fell in love with Dallas during residency and is excited to care for the Dallas community.
Dr. Fisher received her Bachelor of Arts from Rice University. After graduation, she served as a fifth-grade teacher with Teach for America in Houston. She then received an MD/MPH dual degree from the Long School of Medicine in San Antonio and UT Health Science Center in Houston School of Public Health. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center. During her residency, Dr. Fisher was awarded the Struther Award for academic excellence. She is excited to further pursue her passion for education by working with residents and medical students as staff at BUMC.
She loves spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. She also enjoys DIY projects, reading, and dancing!

I showed up at my scheduled time. I was checked in, I presented all my documents and they took my picture and handed me a clipboard with documents. As I was filling out my documents I get called back up to the desk… the receptionist says you were supposed to be here 30mins ahead of time so we will have to reschedule you because the doctor has moved on to another patient. After driving 40 mins and making it on time I was incredibly frustrated. The parking is not free at this clinic you have to enter their parking lot and they do not validate. So I wasted my time, my gas and my money for doctor who had no professionalism to see her patient. I should add that there was nobody in the waiting room and I didn’t see anyone come in or out while I was there. I will not be coming back and I will find a way to file a complaint against this clinic. I just needed help and I did not find it here.

This is my third pregnancy and I decided to have a female doctor this delivery. Due to her reviews I drove over 40 mins to my appointment and was not disappointed. She was extremely thorough. After my clinical visit she gave me the opportunity to sit with her in her offices. Instead of sending me off with a packet she took her time to explain everything it detailed. She was by far the best OBGYN I’ve encountered in my 31 years. Great introduction. Being an African American Service is not always as it should be. I’ve had some poor experiences that left me discouraged with the medical field. I was originally going to do a midwife & doula due to my past experiences but I decided to just do more researching, outside of my living area. I feel like myself and my child are in great hands.

ABSOLUTELY love Dr.Fisher.. being 21, I was very nervous going to my first appointment. She made it so easy, explained everything and made me extremely comfortable.. she listened to what you had to say and answers questions that you might have.. she explains absolutely everything from the how to the why.. even the staff was extremely professional and friendly.. the place was lean and I was in and out in an hour.. I’m glad to say I think I found my doctor..
