I can't say enough positive things about Dr Wall. He explained everything in detail and in a non-condescending manner, which can be hard when explaining complicated medical situations. I very much appreciate the time he spent to diagnose my issue and talk through treatment options. Awesome doctor.
Knowledgeable doctor. Very helpful in understanding the condition and treatment.
Dr. Wall can come off as rude or off putting but the way I see it he is very direct and to the point. I like it. I am able to ask him questions and despite what some may see as not caring he comes off as well, lets see whats really going on. He has been very willing to explore what is wrong with my sinuses and nose. I would recommend him but don't expect anything to be sugar coated.
Compared to other ENT doctors who have you in and out of the office in 15 minutes (even for an initial visit), Dr. Wall was very thorough! He was very patient, willing to explain things to you and answer questions.
Finally, an ENT who listened to me! Extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to, great at explaining what had probably gone wrong. Wish I’d found him sooner.
Very nice office. Very professional staff. Dr. Wall was very though about what he believes the causes of my sinus issues are and laid out a plan on how to resolve them.
Very knowledgeable, precise and concise professional. Short visit but he was able to assess my situation and provide guidance.
Dr Wall was is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me. He was able to resolve problem I had been having with allergies and an ear infection, and was proactive not just in treating me, but also in helping me to prevent a recurrence.
In and out in 30 minutes! Dr. Wall was super helpful and honest in my assessment. He explained everything he was doing and gave excellent advice. Very transparent.
The visit was good. Dr. Wall is knowledgeable and pleasant. His staff is very accommodating and helpful and also knowledgeable.
He knows what he's doing and he's a sharp shooter. Some family doctors like mine are a waste of space. Dr Wall looked into my throat with the lighted device and was able to produce a plan of action unlike my family internist whose been brain dead for 3 months without a clue on how to treat GERD. Thanks a lot Dr Wall!!
Great doctor and really nice people
Very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Dr. Wall is truly an A+ doctor. HIGHLY recommend the guy.
Nice Doctor. Took way more time with me then needed. Went over a bunch of concerns.
Dr. Wall was helpful, competent and thorough, and I appreciated the effective communication, which was neither complicated nor overly simple. I am pleased to know Dr. Wall in case I have further issues, and would not hesitate to recommend him.
He is the real deal!
Smart, thorough, took time to explain everything and presented options clearly.
The visit went very well. I understood everything that he explained to me. And will follow up as suggested.
While I had to wait for about 35 min, Dr. Wall actually was very professional and took the time to chat with me about options for treatment and was friendly enough. Good experience.
Appointment with Dr. Wall was great as he was very attentive and answer all questions and I have been coming for over six years annually. Calling to get an appointment was a nightmare. My daughter called to make appointment for me was directed to do so online and would not make appointment telephonically even though I am an existing patient. My daughter said i have been coming for years to see you. My daughter made appointment via online site and completed all the forms online. Arriving at appointment I was told to complete a form in which my daughter completed. My daughter asked why this form had to be completed if it was done online. The gentleman with the accent (daughter spoke to him) apologize for the misinformation provided by the trainees and that my daughter should drop it and it was a mute point. It maybe a mute point; however, my daughter was trying to let him know that there should be consistency in the information passed on to the patient. He even reiterated to my daughter - existing patients appointments could be made via a phone call. Just want to pass this on to you Dr Wall so no other patient of yours have to go through this experience.
Dr. Wall presents as very knowledgeable and competent, if somewhat aloof. His diagnosis of my recurrent nosebleeds identified a blood vessel near the surface, which he treated with silver iodide. He said that should shrink the vessel but, if that was not sufficient, he could electrocauterize if. He also gave advice for controlling nosebleeds and ordered an antibiotic prescription ointment from my pharmacy. I would definitely see him again if I had an ENT problem.
Best ENT in teh DC area. Takes time and is quite brilliant
Dr Wall was very informative. He explained my condition very well and answered all of my questions.
He's amazing. I learned a lot as well as was taken very good care of.
Really caring professional and was very pleased to be served by!
Dr. Wall is amazing! His wealth of knowledge is incredible! We had a VERY good exchange of information during our conversation. He asked all the questions he needed to and allowed me the time to respond and expound.
He was an attentive listener which helped in discovering a life changing condition. Great Doc!
Very smart guy. Wish I went to him earlier! Office is very helpful and caring as well.
Efficient and comprehensive. highly recommend!
Straight to the point doctor, doesn't mince words but very knowledgeable.
I highly recommend
So patient and knowledgable! He very sincerely listened to every concern I had and addressed all of them. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a doc.
Very complete, informative, relaxed. He exhibits a proactive concern for healthcare beyond the bounds of ENT practice, encouraging the patient to pursue high-value diagnostic tests and vaccines.
Dr. Wall asked a lot of question to narrow down the problem. His final assessment was 100% correct. He explained the possible procedures very well, and recommended the least intrusive one in my situation, with then proviso that I would need to see him again if it did not work. He had me wait in the waiting room to check up on what he did about 20-30 minutes later. He also made a number of very useful recommendations as to how to help the healing process. We were very impressed by his obvious experience and competence.
Dr Stephen Wall is the best! He is very patient, answers all your questions, explains everything perfectly to make sure the patient understands his/her case well and follows through with the treatment. He is a good listener which contributes to the fact that his diagnosis is always accurate and made in a timely manner. He is very professional, makes sure you have everything ready when you want to schedule an appointment for radiology for example. He just makes your life easy! On top of all that, unlike many other doctors, he has a good sense of humor which makes the visit so pleasant that you would like to come back every day. I can list so many more things that demonstrate how great of a doctor he is but the review has to end at some point.
Very knowledgeable doctor, highly recommend.
Dr. Wall is extremely professional. He took the time and patience to explain fully the cause of my symptoms while offering an array of treatments, but recommending the least invasive. He also has a great sense of humor. Would most certainly recommend him to anyone.
Extremely informative and helpful. It was incredible to finally have a doctor take the time with me to explain the 'why' behind my symptoms and offer suggestions on how to fix issues I have been dealing with all of my life, that no other doctor has come close to successfully or correctly addressing.
I have been seeing Dr. Wall for over 20 years. He is knowledgeable, and caring, and I would highly recommend him.
I had an on going nose bleed issue and felt horrible because of it. I made an appointment with Dr. Wall, and he was very pleasant, explained what he was doing, and was very efficient in examing and treating me. I am very grateful to Dr. Wall.
Very thorough and did a great job explaining things as well as possible options.
Dr Wall has been treating me for ear/sinus issues for the past several months. He is great - thorough, professional and patient. He and his team are first rate. Highly recommend.
Dr Wall is the best! Very communicative, patient and positive.
Test results were significantly delayed by over a month. The office dropped the ball / took its time to send the results. Unacceptable.
Excellent doctor. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy.
very professional bedside manner. Making the patient feel totally and confidents that we're being very professionally care for problem or issues
Dr. Wall was incredibly professional and quite adept at his work. His office staff is competent and kind. It was a very good experience and I highly recommend seeing him.
I always appreciate Dr. Wall's patience and willingness to explore options with me.
He is very smart. If you are looking for an ENT who is going to get the job done right the first time, he's your guy!
Very knowledgeable. Felt well taken care of. He took the time to discuss my symptoms and develop a plan. Great experience!
Dr. Stephen Wall was so professional, friendly, and fast. Great experience.
Dr wall is an expert in his field and is the rare case of a doctor willing to spend the extra time it takes to inform his patients fully. The front desk has two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are also very skilled in the event that you need blood work or other services. For me there is no other ENT I would consider and believe me - in the past I have tried many.
Dr. Wall is a very caring doctor. He is on top of his game in relation to ENT issues. I have been his patient for about 15 years, and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a good ENT doctor.
Excellent doctor, very knowledgeable and perceptive. State of the art exam.
earacheing problem didn't solve. His assistant was nice.
Thoroughly impressed with Dr. Wall's logical approach to assessing my condition. His explanation of a potential treatment plan and next steps was very clear to me.
Why can't all my doctor visits be like this? It was totally friendly, efficient, and professional. In fact, why can't the whole world run this way?
Dr. Wall was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain my diagnosis and the course of treatment. He provided several options and back-up options which was wonderful. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.
Dr.Wall is very knowledgeable and made sure to explore every possibility to rule out anything serious.
pleasant, nice office everyone was friendly.
Excellent Doctor: very knowledgeable and skilled. Staff friendly and efficient.
Dr. Wall took an extended amount of time with me, and on a Friday afternoon leading into a holiday, and explained from start to finish (in a way in which a non-medical person could understand) what is going on with my sinusitis issues. He also sort for a well laid out plan and explained why. I highly recommend him. He is experienced, well-spoken, patient (not literally.:), and compassionate. Thank you
I had a 9am appointment and was seen promptly. He went through the necessary questions while also trying to get to know me personally and explained the anatomy of my sinuses and why/how things go wrong up there for some people. He suggested I get tested for allergies, to which I agreed. However, I do not like needles. His staff learned this and said they could arrange to draw blood then and there instead of me coming back two weeks later to deal with all the needles. They were very accommodating and the whole thing only took 20 minutes!
Dr Wall seemed well informed. After listening and diagnosing my symptoms, he discussed the range of possible causes. As this was my initial visit, I was glad to learn my condition is not serious at this time. His assistant, Uri, was also very helpful.
Dr Wall was courteous, professional, and understanding. I immediately felt at ease and confident in his knowledge and skill.
I've been in and out of urgent cares trying to deal with strep throat and then what ultimately became tonsillitis. Dr. Wall made me feel completely at ease, asking me where I'm from and what I do for work. He knew what was wrong with me before he even looked at my throat. I'd been on and off routinely prescribed antibiotics, and I just kept getting worse. He diagnosed me with tonsillitis, recommended a broad spectrum antibiotic, and gave me something for the pain, which at that point had become all but debilitating. He made sure I knew when to expect results and when to follow up with him if I didn't. Twelve hours after my first dose, I noticed a huge difference, and I was eating solid food again the next day for the first time in almost a week. I'm so glad I went to see a specialist, and I'm even happier that I went with Dr. Wall, whom I found through zocdoc. He knows exactly what he's doing, and he makes sure you know exactly what's going on. After weeks of no answers, that was a huge relief. I've already recommended him to a friend, and I'll do so again for friends looking for ENTs in the future.
Dr. Wall is patient and willing to listen to and answer all of your questions no matter how mundane they may seem. He explains everything in clear laymen's terms.
My appointment with Dr. Wall went very well. He saw me right away, briefly discussed my medical history, and very efficiently took care of the waxy build-up in my ears. We had a pleasant conversation throughout about a shared interest in history. My visit was completed within a half hour!
Minimal wait time and clean office. The nurses were very nice. Dr. Wall fixed my problem and took the time to make sure my ears were thoroughly cleaned. Not the warmest but he is not there to be my friend.
Dr. Stephen Wall far surpassed my expectations. I came in for something very minor and pretty quick and was amazed at the level of interest Dr. Wall expressed in my conditions and overall health. He actually had me leaving fairly hopeful to solve something else and I felt like he handled my allergy conditions far better than my Allergist. While in the office and speaking to Dr. Wall I felt that I was lucky to finally find a doctor I want to keep while living in DC and whom I will be sad to leave when I someday move. The staff who handled the reception were also very friendly and fun and gave the office a "small-town" feel where they know you and are not simply churning patients through the door. This was a great visit and I am glad Dr. Wall will be my ENT doctor moving forward.
Was very helpful during the appointment, explained everything very clearly. Even called me later in the evening to make sure I fully understood the instructions he gave me. Very good with follow through, even took a call at 1am when I was experiencing adverse side effects.
This guy DOES NOT follow up with you. Left his office after last visit in April. He stated to check with his assistant for insurance codes and possible rates for removing a lipoma. This is after multiple visits, MRI at another facility, needle aspirations at a lab, and a follow-up consultation with him. Waited a few weeks, then followed-up a month later then a few weeks after by phone. I have been busy this summer but his office would have at least followed through. Over 5 months have passed and I have moved on to a new doctor due to never hearing from his office again.
The doctor was knowledgable and willing to answer questions. The wait was annoying, especially after the office called earlier in the day to ask me to come 15 minutes early to sign forms that I had completed on line.
He was very helpful with regard to how to eliminate ear wax myself and also advised me on recent acid reflux issues.
This guy just wants to make bank, he doesn't really care about your health situation...
Can't recommend him more - very thorough, explained everything to me, did a full hearing test plus checked out my nose because I had some questions about something totally unrelated to the tinnitus I came in for - a really exceptional experience.
Dr. Wall listened to my symptoms while I answered a few medical questions, explained his initial thoughts on a diagnosis, and performed a laryngoscopy in a very quick and efficient manner. He promptly set up follow-on appointments, listened to my concerns, and prescribed an appropriate treatment to address my issues. I was in and out in 30 minutes, but I didn't feel rushed at all; he's just very good at what he does.
Very nice. Took time to explain everything he did and what I need to go got my next visit.
Dr Wall was very informative with handy diagrams regarding all the things wrong or potentially wrong from what he could see. Very thorough in his exploration of all possibilities.
Dr. Wall was extremely knowledgeable seems to run a tight ship at his practice. I came in for a routine ear problem and decided to ask him about sleep apnea which I have been suspecting I suffer from. Within 5-10 minutes he had written me a prescription for a sleep study and made a great recommendation for a sleep center, and I'm getting the treatment I need.
I was early so the wait time was minimal. I have been a patient for a couple of years and would recommend him to friends and family. Staff if very professional, personable and courteous.
Excellent, active listener and provides the best solution for the symptoms.
Dr. Wall took the time to answer my questions, explain the body's response to bacteria in our daily environment, to go into depth about the potential factors that may be causing my ongoing sinus issues and steps we can take in diagnosing the issue short term and long term. During my exam with the the endoscopy, he also showed and explained some abnormalities of my nasal vessels on the monitor, which help put things into greater perspective. I found Dr. Wall to be very knowledgeable and professional. I liked his bedside manner, he was very straight to the point and seemed to have a calm, almost dry-sense of humor type manner. He also returns phone calls within the same day! (I called about some concerns regarding antibiotics) And he also has a pretty nice speaking voice (sorry, I am weird about phonetics) .
Dr. Wall is so friendly and he's really great about explaining medical conditions in laymen's terms
Professional, Informative, Concise and Knowledgeable. I look froward to working with him to correct y sinus issues.
Very thorough. Listened carefully. Asked me a few questions. Explained thoroughly.
Overall, it was a good experience. Staff was very helpful.
Dr. Wall is very informative and thorough, though I wouldn't call him warm or effusive. He performed my tonsillectomy without a hitch and was very educational throughout the process.
I was skeptical upon walking in as the office hallways are not well lighted, therefore a bit intimidating. After actually entering the office i found it to be very quaint and the Dr. Was very personable.
