Too long of s wait. An hour and a half..
I had a 11 appt which I arrived early to fill it paper work and still was in there for over 2hrs total. Gots to do better with scheduling.
Very nice and thourogh finally found a good one.
The focus is on the money and not the patient. Its definitely a cattle call process. I would never recommend this for someone who wants to be treated as an individual and not a number.
The office staff isn't rude, but they aren't nice either. As a health professional myself, I know it can be done better. If you have other options for a doctor go somewhere else. I have had to wait over 30 minutes, or up to an hour for multiple appointments.
I'm an 88 year old lady and my son called beforehand to see if they would accept Medicare insurance and they said yes and they told my son there would be no out of pocket expenses . But after waiting for 2 hours and finally getting in the woman came in patient room to demand full payment without accepting Medicare. I have nightmares about this office visit . The office staff thinks they are entitled and have a really condescending attitude towards the patients.
Was a great experience, was in and out and my pain is gone. Very polite and very professional.
Apparently they were behind, but I still wasn't pleased. When I walked in I said hello and the nurse ignored me. I realized the sign that read sign in and well be right with you, but still she couldn't even say hello? Besides that I basically had to wait 2 hours to be told I needed an MRI. I haven't decided if I will be going back after I get the MRI.
I had speculated that I had sprained my ankle, and so the doctor 'took my word for it' and prescribed something based off of my guess about what was wrong with my ankle. The wait room was packed with people whose appointments had been slated to begin 30 minutes prior to my arrival at the office. It was a very awkward, unprofessional, uneducating trip to a doctor, where I walked (or limped) away from the appointment not knowing a thing more than I did when I limped in, and I will not be returning.
He was very professional and diagnosed the problem right away, prior to having my feet XRayed. I would recommend this physician.
Dr. Berkey has been caring for my feet, which are suffering side effects from chemo. He is a great doctor and has been able to help me tremendously! I highly recommend his practice.
Everyone is very nice. The office is kind of busy but he is the best.
Everyone is wonderful.
Dr. Was personable....professional.
He's very focused! great doctor!
I generally don't give reviews especially if it not positive but I was quite disappointed with the service I received . I was kept waiting for over an hour and the doctor probably spent 10 mins at the most on my feet . I have been going to podiatrists for many years and I left this one feeling very shortchanged .
He was very professional and developed a treatment plan right away based on my x-rays and info. His wisdom showed through in evaluating my condition.
He was very professional and went to the problem very quickly with my foot, also trying to find out the cause by ordering me a test at the hospital. I was very pleased and have confidence in his decisions.
It was a good consult visit. He was helpful and he took time to explain what was going on. I would recommend him to a friend.
On my first visit I was a bit overwhelmed with how many people were being seen and how long the wait time was, usually I would have left and scheduled somewhere else but considering how many people was trying to see this doctor I thought to see what he was all about. I was not at all disappointed he answered all of my questions and was very nice I would definitely recommend him.
He was very nice & knowledgeable but I felt a bit rushed & the office was very busy. The staff however was NOT personable or friendly.
Our visit was very pleasant and the Staff was exceptionally wonderful to work with. Dr. Berkey is an Amazing physician and a Life Saver. In the words of my son, "That Doctor was Awesome!!" Thank You All!!!!
Dr. Berkey is worth the wait... Great Doctor who is knowledgeable and determined to provide excellent care. He is cautious, he is a 5 star doctor!
Great! Took the time to talk to me and understand my concerns and offered a range of solutions. Office is a little outdated in appearance etc., which put me off at first, but it was unwarranted!
Dr. Berkey was very personable and got right to work diagnosing the reason for my foot pain. He then explained in detail how the injury probably occurred and the way he felt would be best to treat it and why. While I am sad that my running is sidelined for a few weeks, I left feeling like I had had a comprehensive exam, and the best care possible. Also, the office staff and x-ray technician were all very nice.
Dr. Berkey was great! Great bedside manner. He explains things very well and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him!
Very knowledgeable Doctor and staff
Went very we'll.. got treated excellent.. good knowledge.
Long wait , fell asleep. The music was relaxing but doctor took care of problem with my foot. The front receptionist was friendly and helpful. One receptionist in the back was rude to my younger son since he needed to go to the restroom she told him to go back to the room.
The doctor was great. The wait time between my X-ray and when he came back into the room was at least 30 minutes. . He did have a lot of people in the office, so I think he just fell behind.
Found Dr. Berkey on ZocDoc! Very lucky find! His staff was very cordial, he has a great bedside manner, and my wait time was only long enough to fill out the new patient paperwork!
Very knowledgeable and efficient. Quickly diagnosed the problem and provided treatment.
perfectly attended to, with a success too.
I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment to have an enough time to fill out my paperwork but I still ended up waiting over 45 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time to be seen. The office was packed with people there was no where to sit, the receptionist was rude (closing the window while I was still talking to her), they called several patients back and kept skipping me, and the doctor saw me for about 5 minutes and sent me on my way. Would not recommend this podiatrist office.
Doctor took the time to listen and was very knowledgeable. Surgery was more difficult than expected, but doctor explained everything and followed up promptly.
I thought Dr. Berkey was great!! I did not encounter any problems w/office personnel neither. I thought that everyone was very nice. Dr. Berkey's bedside manner was excellent. He answered all my questions, understood my problems. Diagnosed me, explained everything thoroughly and even scheduled me for surgery next week. Which is exactly what I wanted b/c I do not want my feet to hurt at all!! Highy recommend!
It was very professional and he was concerned about the patient.
Very nice and professional! Very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do, the problem and how to fix it. The rest of the staff was very pleasant and showed smiles the whole time.
My visit with Dr. Berkey was good. Staff, not so much... Girl at receptionist window, was snippy, and annoyed! I watched as an elderly woman was dropped off by her assisted living driver. The woman was unable to see the many pages of redundant information that was required for her first visit. She explained to the girl at the window that she could not see! My husband offered to help her, but, of course she was uncomfortable giving her info to a stranger. The girl asked her if she could call her driver to come back and help her! The woman told her that if she did this, it might be a long time before he could come back! When we left from finishing our appt. she was still out in the waiting room! The girl at the window was also rude to me, and I told her, and you so... That is why I could not give you five stars.
Dr was awsome ,relieved months of pain in seconds .Thanks doc
Absolutely horrible! The lady in the front desk was rude and they kept a window so we couldn't ask questions. And when I did all i got was dirty looks then ahe slid the window in my face while I was still talking and brought up a surprise bill. Never ever again. Would not recommend to anyone
Great dr. Explains everything in detail. Easy to talk to and I'm comfortable with him. Knowing I'm in good hands!!!
I was very happy with my experience at Dr. Berkey's office. I waited about thirty to forty minutes in the waiting room. I only waited ten to fifteen minutes in the examining room. I liked Dr. Berkey and will definitely go back.
excellent, professional doctor
I thought Dr Berkeley was very nice attentive and concerned with my issues...
Dr. Berkey was great but I had to wait a very long time to see him. My appointment was scheduled for 3:30 and I did not leave until 5:45 :(
Walked in walked out did not seem interested in our concerns. Felt like a factory. In and out within 7 minutes.
tl;dr Dr. Berkey is good, but don't schedule anything too close after your appointment, especially your first time. And be quick with your questions, or he might be gone before you ask. Once the receptionist gave me my first-time paperwork and I got it filled out, 30 minutes had passed. By the time I was admitted for my appointment it was about an hour after the scheduled time. By far, most of my time past that point was spent waiting for someone to come to the room. Dr. Berkey himself was good at his job, but a little too hurried to give full attention to my concerns. He showed appropriate preference for less drastic types of treatment, and helped me know what kind of shoes to select.
My visit was awesome! Dr. Berkey is very kind. I felt very comfortable with his suggestion & guidance on what direction we should take to correct my problem. I will recommend him to my family & friends.
We did have to wait awhile but thats okay. The staff and Dr. Berkey were super nice and thorough.
Hey is very helpful and udunderstanding i love it everbody is jolly and full of happiness.
Doc asked good questions and quickly came to diagnosis which x-rays in office (with no waiting) confirmed. We agreed on course of action with follow-up to occur in 30 days. Very please with overall experience.
It was awesome. I will definetly be returning.
Timely, professional and effective.
Very Good to review issues and very knowledgeable - Will recommend to friends and other family members
Dr. Berkey is an excellent Podriatrist. I highly recommend him.
Very professional , gave a lot of good information , great visit.
very helpful and personable
it was a long wait, but a great visit.
Dr. Berkey was very friendly and informative. He thanked us for coming to see him. Have NEVER been thanked by a doctor before. He is great with kids. Explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend him!!!
Wait time was great, and he literally got me in and out in 15minutes. It was the fastest doctor's appointment ever! His bedside manner could be a little more personable, but overall, he's very informative.
Dr. Berkey is a great professional. However, the manner in which he times his appointments leaves a little to be desired. An 8:45 appointment does not mean 8:45 unless you are the first to arrive.
Dr. Berkey was great, very personable, very professional. He seemed genuinely happy to meet us and was pleased for us to be new patients. The waiting room was crowded but we didn't have to wait too long. The staff were friendly and very helpful too.
Great job... Everyone was so nice, clean and inviting.
I would highly recommend. Wonderful bedside manner and friendly office staff.
I was impressed with his diagnostic skills. But, the cortisone injection he.gave me was extremely painful! The foam he sprayed on ahead of time, has left a large red and white blister. I have never had a painful cortisone injection before. This one is still in the process of trying to work. I felt like he injected more than was needed and jammed it straight down. The ones I've had for that toe in the past were gently administered and pointed in several directions in just the one injection site.
Office is very busy, but staff and doctor were nice and very professional
Dr. Berkey was very knowledgeable and made sure I left with sound knowledge on my injury and how to go about getting better. The nurse was also very kind during my visit.
Most of the staff was very friendly and he was Dr. Berkey was very knowledgable. I had to wait a long time since he was in surgery that morning, but other than that, no complaints.
very friendly office staff and Dr. Berkey was also very nice & explained things thoroughly
Both of my kids see him and he is very good with them. He stays on top of their progress and is really good at letting me know all the next steps.
Dr. Berkey is competent and helpful but his office is very busy. He sees many patients so his time with you is short.
He was a really great doctor. No problems at all.
