I really like Dr. Rajakumar. Despite the fact that they were having major computer issues, she took the time to listen and respond to me.
Dr Rajakumar is awesome and easy to talk to.
She is so sweet and caring.
This was a very disappointing and unproductive appointment. I waited about 1hr & 10mins in the waiting area. Then the nurse brought me back and got my weight, temperature, and blood pressure. I tried to lightened the mood with friendly conversation, but she seemed annoyed and wasn't very receptive or responsive. Then I waited for 20mins for a room to open up. Then I waited another 40mins for the doctor in the exam room. When the doctor came me she asked me how I was and what was going on, but as I was talking she cut me off and checked my breathing. Then we went into her office. I kept trying to talk but she kept interrupting me, explaining things away before I could finish, and she looked at her computer screen the whole time. Then I asked her if she could check my blood something in particular that she checked over a year ago. But she said she's not checking it and that I can ask my rheumatologist to check it next time I see her. She was looking at my notes from my last rhuematologist appointment. I asked her what the rheumatologist checked last time. She said I could ask the rheumatologist next time I see her. Then she tried to start me on a medication I already said I didn't need. I feel like I didn't get anything accomplished in that appointment, and I left more frustrated with my health issues than when I came in.
The office staff were great! From making the appointment, calls about insurance and confirming the appointment, and when I arrived! Friendly, professional, and oh so quick!! I barely sat down when I was called back. Dr. Rajakuma is amazing! Smart, caring, thorough; I could not ask for a better doctor/practice!
She was polite and didn't take long.
Finding the office was sooo difficult because the hospital is very large and not easy to find a specific doctor (she's located in the Morgan building FYI), but she was great! I filled out like 1 sheet of paperwork and was immediately taken back. Was in and out in 45 minutes, much faster than other doctors who make you wait at least a half before even going in the back, where you wait another 20 minutes.
Simply amazing!! I've found my new primary care doctor. Truly one of a kind!!
I loved Dr. RajaKumar. She was awesome and very thorough.
It has taken me over 5 years to find a primary care physician that I truly trust. Before, everytime I had an primary care appointment, I felt like I wasn't being treated like a human being. I wasn't being heard. They didn't care about me as a person. Instead, I was just another patient or "just another number". However, with Dr. Rajakumar, for my initial appointment, instead of having me fill out a bunch of forms in the waiting room, she sat me down in her office and we had a one-on-one discussion about all my current health conditions, health history, family history, health concerns, mediation, etc. I appreciated having this one-on-one time so much more than just filling out a bunch of forms that she may or not see. Then, after the discussion, I went into one of the examination rooms, and she did a routine examination. Then, we went back to her office, she discussed her findings, I discussed the which concerns were higher priority, then we discussed short term and long term health-related goals. I wish all doctor offices would use this format with their patients, but I understand that most practices will not be as advanced as this one. I would recommend this practice and this doctor to anyone who's looking for a more personable experience with the primary care doctor.
Doctor and assistants were very nice and professional. I paid cash for my visit, they told me the up front fee, but did not tell me what they were going to charge for additional blood work and tests. So I left not knowing what my total charges would be, I asked but they do not have a list of charge, this was discouraging because I don't have insurance and would like to know how much I need to pay so I will know if I can afford services.
