He's a warm and caring doctor but he's also very professional and balances both perfectly. He does wonderfully comforting the children and making sure the patent is very comfortable as well. He also thoroughly explains what is going on so that there is barely need for questions. Highly recommended!read more

Initially when I saw Dr. Gershkovich had 4 out of 5 stars and was a lot closer to me than my children's original PCP (my favorite but she's too far for us) I was happy and when I saw he's affiliated with Maimonides Medical Center it reassured me a lot more. So my mother and I walked in and when I saw the doctor and spoke to him I automatically felt uncomfortable. It was a weird feeling in the office. There were files everywhere. He diagnose my son with a very bad sickness so he gave me medication and had me come back several times during a 2 week period and each time asked me why I was there. It drove me crazy that he didn't remember the reason for us being there. I know doctors see a lot of patient but seeing the same patient 5 or 6 times within a 2 week period is enough to remember our faces no less the diagnosis. Upon the last visit I decided I needed to use the bathroom and I couldn't believe the state of the bathroom. There were bags everywhere and I just so happened to look inside one of the bags and I found some stuff in there and let's just say it was not a drink that was to be consumed by a child. I even have pictures I took in there to prove it. So that was the last time I was going back there. Not to mention he gave me a very hard time filling out WIC papers. And everyone knows if those papers are not filled out properly then you do not get any WIC. The new doctor I found it ten times better! Please do not even consider going to this doctor unless they do a whole remodel of their office and the way he sees his patients. read more

The appointment was horrible .... The doctor first question began with my inscurance instead of patient(my son) . Second he was checking him at his right ear and resulted that the object used by him caused ear bleeding... I went there for stomac infection follow up. Such an unresponsible doctor ... Even he might be a good one he does not have any manner to deal with kids .If my kid start screaming and resisting of your visit you should stop calm him down and than start a different aproach... I am so frustrated and so pissed with that doctor read more
