I currently treat general gastrointestinal issues, including food allergies, irritable bowel conditions, acid reflux, and ulcer disease, as well as liver related diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer screenings. I accept same day and walk-in appointments. I perform procedures in our accredited office based surgical suite, which drastically reduces your out of pocket expenses compared to the hospital or an outpatient facility. I also perform procedures on weekends to minimize time off from work for my patients. I take an integrative and holistic approach to gastrointestinal diseases and treat the patient as a whole. I believe in incorporating lifestyle changes along with nutrition into my treatment plan. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Care his patient
I found the office easily. The office was clean, and small. It’s in Chinatown, which I think is cool. I had to fill out two pieces of paper, and sign about 5 electronically. Front desk people were good. As far as the doctor is concerned, he was good. I can see why someone here wrote that he was maybe a little too casual, though. He listened to everything that I said, which I liked.
Competent and friendly staff. Dr. Johnson was professional and warm.

He's knowledgeable and efficient, and is willing to offer insightful referral-type info for things outside his area if the tests he does show your problems need further help outside of his specialty. The main thing for me is that he was willing to research a referral that has been extremely helpful and is starting to unravel answers to a very long diagnostic search, even though he did not know the name off the top of his head. He also did a procedure for me that went well. Also seems to stay on top of new info.

Doc and staff very polite. They carefully listened to all of my Q's & complaints. Lab & diagnostic tests were scheduled promptly. Explained prep thoroughly. Spent only 15 minutes in waiting room. I wish all my other docs were this efficient.

I was in and out in under 35 minutes--allowing me enough time to get blood drawn and still make it back to work. The facilities were nice and the staff and doctor were professional and friendly.
Dr. Johnson was great. Very nice and comforting and actually listens when you talk about your concerns. Front desk staff is also nice, and the wait time is minimal. Office is very clean too.

I was unhappy with my visit to Dr. Johnson. The staff was disorganized with lots of forms required for signature. Once I got in to see the doctor he spent under 4 minutes with me, didn't review any medical history, didn't ask me any questions, and ordered a procedure. I got a second opinion and turns out I still need the procedure, but I'll certainly be scheduling it with another doctor. I wouldn't trust Dr. Johnson to be thorough and careful in the procedure room, as he wasn't bothered in the exam room.
Dr. Timothy is professional, kind and understanding when it comes to respecting my wishes to maintain my current regimen. He was quick to prescribe my current medications and even provide a prior-auth. for medications not approved on the Medicaid preffered meds list. I would recommend him, not his office receptionists who are incredibly unprofessional.
I had to fill out papers first so after that, there really was no wait time. All good so far. I did have trouble understanding his young assistant who was perfectly charming and very sweet but someone needs to encourage her to be more aware of her diction.
Wait was little long, but he was great.

I'm not sure how to rate my appointment, the wait time wasn't long, the staff was rather nice but I came to the doctor because of stomach pain. Rather then examining me the doctor gave me some sample pills to help with symptoms and scheduled a follow up appointment for an Endoscopy. Maybe he wants to see whats the problem or maybe he wants to rack up cash which is yet to be seen.

I was happy to find I was attended in less than 30 minutes. I saw about 5 -7 people in the waiting room and I was apprehensive that I would be waiting a long time. However my names was called in about 10 minutes and followed through with the routine procedures. The doctor saw me immediately.
Straight forward.... No complaints
Affable doctor but provided very little input as to my condition. I felt like I was doing the majority of the work asking questions and prying answers from him. Where as another doctor I visited had at least the courtesy to offer suggestions and tests. Charges an arm and a leg no less. A complete waste of time.
The staff was friendly and quick to get me checked in. Dr. Johnson is great at educating the patient about their condition. I would definitely recommend him.

My biggest take away here was that Dr. Johnson was a very patient and sincere listener, which I find rare among doctors, and he was willing to talk through options as I was concerned about cost of numerous tests.
Very friendly, listened to what I had to say and had some new meds for me to try at no cost.
