Graduating from the UT Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, he practiced engineering before attending medical school at UT Southwestern Medical School. He studied Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas, and completed his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Roark is a member of the Travis County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Austin Dermatology Society, American Contact Dermatitis Society and the American Academy of Dermatology.
