I wouldn’t see her again unless i it’s an emergency. She was unpleasant. She was in and out the room in about 2 mins. Therefore, I don’t know why my wait time to be seen was so long when she doesn’t spend any time with the pts, at least with me. I mentioned a swollen lymph node which may have been caused because of scalp irritation (main reason for the appointment) and she didn’t even check/ look at my neck. I also told her that there was a bump in my head and she had no interest in checking that either. She didn’t apologize for the length of time that I had to wait to be seen. However the MA was quite pleasant. She even got me a bottle of water and apologized for the long wait. read more

I am so sad. I went to see Dr Okereke with three issues and I felt she brushed them off. I waited for the visit (which was scheduled with a time slot) for 1,5h and the visit lasted about 15 minutes. Okereke was not present I was hoping to meet with her because she is a woman of color and might have a personal onsite to my skin issues but I met with another doctor that gave me a few things to test out that I will try I'm hoping it works and will make my follow up! read more

I was even more pleased when I picked up my prescription and they were in larger sizes than I had ever been prescribed being that my issues are somewhat chronic, it would last me longer and I still paid the same price for it through insurance. This was my first appointment here and I was genuinely impressed. The overall look and vibe of the office is unique and modern, but definitely fits the vibe of Brooklyn. Less than 5 minutes after filling out the initial forms, I was called back to be seen. Dr. Okereke and her staff were all super sweet, which was complete opposite of the treatment I received from the doctor/office I was going to prior. She listened to all of my concerns, made suggestions based upon them, and even told me about her personal experiences. I was walked through my new treatment plan thoroughly, and all questions were answered. At the end of my visit I was provided various samples to try out, and scheduled a follow up visit in a timely manner. I am happy that I found Dr. Okereke, and I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

Dr. Okereke herself was nice, she explained what my situation was and tried to find a topical ointment that’s covered under my insurance. However the office she works out of is pretty disorganized and the medical assistants are not attentive. There was at most 2 other people in office yet it took over an hour for me to finally see the doctor.read more

Dr. Okereke was excellent and I rarely say that about doctors unfortunately. She was so kind and compassionate. I had a bit of a sensitive skin issue I was dealing with and she made me feel so comfortable and well cared for. I would definitely go back to her and highly recommend her. I had a great experience. The office is beautiful: so modern and clean and the receptionist and nurse (sorry if that’s the incorrect title!) were both so friendly and helpful. Dr. Okereke was great and didn’t rush through the appointment. She was thorough and answered my questions and sent prescriptions to a really cool mail-order pharmacy that seems very easy to use and modern. I just feel excited to have had a good experience because I have Fidelis and usually don’t have amazing experiences with this insurance. Really appreciate them taking Fidelis!!read more

I wan't sure what to expect as it was my first visit. However, the young ladies at the front desk were smiling, helpful, and respectful. I did not have to wait even a whole 6 minutes before the physician assistant called me and I saw Dr. Okereke right away. She was so helpful, concerned and warm. She was amazing and its hard to find doctors and a staff like that anymore, so it was refreshing on such a cold day. read more

That wait time was absolutely disrespectful. Although once I filled out the paperwork (even though I already did via zocdoc), I was brought to the patient room within minutes, great. But I didn't end up seeing the doctor til about 30+ minutes later. During the visit, I wasn't able to ask any detailed questions because it felt so rushed, and so "general". This was my first time meeting with a derm who was also a POC which was very important to me because I had a lot of questions and wanted to establish a great relationship with my derm as a POC myself; that was not able to happen. I will say she was nice and knowledgeable, but not personable at all. Hopefully that was just a one time thing, but I'm not sure if I'll be back to visit. read more
