I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, a cold and rainy place! My husband and I met in college. He was in the Air Force and was stationed in Mississippi immediately after we got married. After surviving culture shock and getting a Master's degree I attended medical school at the University of Tennessee. My original plan in medical school was to be a surgeon, however I really enjoyed the close patient interaction with primary care. The South is a great place for combined internal medicine and pediatric training programs which is what I decided to do. I see all age groups and received intense training seeing very ill young and old patients which I enjoy very much. My residency was completed in Little Rock, Arkansas where I was in private
practice for a few years. After being hired by a major airline my spouse and I decided to make Longmont our permanent home. We have been here since 1999 and love our community.
When I am not at work I enjoy travelling, hiking and playing with our rescue pets.
