Dr. Vladyslava Doktor comes from a unique background of eastern European descent with experience living in multicultural cities such as Boston and New York for the past 21 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Brandeis University and Masters of Arts in Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Medicine, followed by medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. Dr. Doktor completed her dermatology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, New York. She is currently a member of American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Osteopathic Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has published and presented her work at local and national meetings. She has worked with numerous master dermatologists in the country. Dr. Doktor is an avid learner and a believer of continuing medical education. She frequently attends both local and national meetings where she learns the latest updates in medical dermatology and newest surgical and cosmetic techniques. Her biggest goal at The Dermatology Specialists is to build long-lasting relationships with patients while offering top notch medical care.

Dr Doktor was friendly, patient and helpful to listen and evaluate my concerns. Wait time was very short (under 5 minutes), office is clean and with a very comfortable feel, and all of the staff were friendly as well.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Doktor and she is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Her staff are all very nice as well. She‘s knowledgeable and was very attentive and caring towards my issue. I am going back to see her in two weeks for a follow up. She’s great!
This was my first visit to this practice. I waited 90 minutes before I actually saw the dr. They said it was because they had to verify my insurance, which took 30 minutes, even though they called to verify it the day before. It still didn't explain the additional hour wait. The dr. had a good bedside manner and seemed to do a good job although the wait time was excessive. If you book an appointment, be sure you have plenty of time to wait just in case.
I was in town and had an allergic reaction so searched for a dermatologist on ZocDocs. Dr. Doktor had good reviews and availablilty so I went to see her. I am very glad that I did so as it was such a pleasant experience. The front desk staff was very welcoming and nice. After a short wait I was taken into an exam room and the nurse practioner patiently went over all my medical history and problem I was having. The doctor came in right after. Dr. Doktor is so nice and spent time listening to my problem then explaining her diagnosis. She is very caring and showed concern when doing a biopsy. She was very thorough and informative and genuinely cared about what might be going on with me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Doktor.
The doctor was very nice and so was everyone who works there. But it took a long time for her to see me, which felt unnecessary. I was seen first by the MA, then the nurse practitioner, then the doctor almost an hour after I got there. It was a routine yearly checkup.
