Dr. Schell is very informative and to the point. He never rushes and always listens to all of the concerns that I have. All of my injuries are sports/fitness related and he takes my active lifestyle into consideration when providing detailson how to care for each injury and overall really wants to see you get better so you can be back on your feet! I think he's a great doctor, and the ladies behind the desk are friendly and helpful as well. I found him right here on ZocDoc and have been seeing him whenever necessary for about 3 years, and while nobody enjoys being hurt it's a pleasure to see Dr. Schell and be reassured on how to recover and get back to my active life!

Super good doctor. Timing was quick, I needed to get xrays and that happened within minutes of being brought to the room and then the doctor showed up right after. Quick but very thorough, explained everything in depth, and felt like I was really taken care of.

I don't often write reviews, but Dr. Schell is the best. He did my shoulder surgery as well as that of a family member. Both with great outcomes. Always friendly but straight-forward, thorough, professional and practical. Don't hesitate, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Schell was very knowledgable and explained the issue I was having very thoroughly and clearly. He didn't act rushed when I asked questions. He genuinely seemed concerned about my current physical concerns and helped put my mind at ease aboutwhat was going on and what to expect. I truly hope that I won't need to return to Dr. Schell for my current issue, but if I were to ever need an orthopedic surgeon again, I wouldn't hesitate to book another appointment with him.

I've been using Dr. Schell as my ortho for over 12 years. He did a pretty significant labrum repair in a shoulder that is now 100%, a fantastic outcome. He's always emphasized the most conservative treatment for all my injuries andwill not recommend a more remunerative treatment unless its necessary (ie he dissuaded me from PRP on an injury). Great doctor I give this guy my highest recommendation

Dr. Schell is honest, skilled, and direct. As an MSN, RN, who has also managed orthopedics services I was extremely overly impressed. Second to office staff, especially Dr. Schell's Medical Assistant are supreme professionals. I am pleased with my treatment and the honesty that came with my diagnosis.

Excellent! Went in for shoulder pain and was given sensible home exercises along with appropriate medications to treat the problem. X-rays were done in-house quickly and Dr. Schell (friendly and professional–answered all of my questions)was able to diagnose the problem shortly after. My whole visit took about 30-45 minutes which was great. Highly recommended.

Dr. Schell listened to my concerns and reviewed my condition with me after getting an ex-ray (instead of MRI, which i appreciate). He was thorough and explained in detail what's going on and how to treat it without the need ofexternal PT and surgery. As a surgeon I respect his knowledge and solutions without the pressure of putting me through surgery. Would recommend to anyone with specialized issues.
